I see a valley far below me Shimmering in setting sunlight. But something hovers over treetops No one else sees, or lacks the insight. A wash of dread shakes my hooves Yet I can't find the enemy. A slinking sorrow swallows day My wide eyes watching desperately. Before long I stand alone All and those I loved have left me. I watch on feeling the sinking Hopelessly I fall to knees. I woke up one morning And the world was bright with fire. It happened all so fast you see I wasn't quick to find the liar. So here I stand feeling change Of something that I cannot see. I feel the tapping of the danger Yet there's nothing there; it's only me.
