Midori entered his new dorm room with a heavy sigh. This would be his sixth school in less then three years. He really hoped this one would work out. He had after all chosen a boarding school in order to be stationary rather then country hop every time his mother got inspired by another random culture.
Midori loved his mother dearly but sometimes he had to wonder if she just had him so she could use him as a mannequin for her fashion designs. Fashion seemed to all she cared about, go so far as to neglect him to chase her ever changing inspiration. Though her lackluster parenting was most likely the reason for his extreme intelligence. It may also be the cause of his more domestic inclinations.
Midori sighed and quickly shook away his spiralling thoughts. He distracted himself quickly by studying his new home. Midori couldn't help but be pleased by it. There was a large open living space, currently unfinished per his request, and a nice kitchenette with an island that had a built in sink. There even appeared to be a small laundry room, closet, and pantry. He strode across his living space and peaked into a door on the left wall.
Midori was pleasantly surprised to find a large unfinished bedroom with his boxes already inside. On the far right wall there was two more doors. Curious, Midori quickly made his way to them. Upon opening the first door, he found a small walk in closet. Two sides had a shelf that ran across the top and a rod directly below the shelf. Midori left his closet and opened the other door. Inside was a pleasantly spacious bathroom with a single vanity, shower-tub combo, and toilet.
Midori nodded in satisfaction and left the bathroom. He quickly dug through the boxes until he located his laptop. Gathering up his electronics he returned once more to the living space. As he sat down to order the furniture he wanted, he couldn't help but notice another door to the right of his living space.
"I wonder if I will have a room mate." Midori mumbled to himself. "It would be a pleasant experience." Midori pushed that thought away and quickly went about ordering his furniture. Making sure to order a second bedroom set just in case.
