The cloak of night covered the rustling city, the temperature dropping as the sun begins to fall. After leaving the airport, the jet lagged woman ran a hand through her hair and sighed to herself. Of course she felt the stares of on lookers as she walked through the streets, something that was nothing new to the woman. Thankfully she had no luggage to carry around like a poor buffoon, what good were employee's if not to do all of the tedious work for her? Alex casually pulled out her phone as she aimlessly walked before google mapping the nearest and nicest bar. She needed a stiff drink after sitting on such a stuffy plane for so many hours! If what they provided was first class then fast food sold delicacies.

The headstrong woman hailed an uber to head towards the bar named "Abyss" that seemed to have decent enough reviews to satisfy the woman's tastes. At one point the driver attempted to make conversation, perhaps to get a better rating, resulting in a glare from the ebony-haired woman. She had no interest holding a petty conversation with someone who was a glorified cabby. Soon enough, she had reached the destination, her steel gaze looking out the window to see the quiet and alluring building. Coldly thanking the driver, the woman paid for her ride before stepping out of the crummy car and on to the sidewalk. She paid no one else heed as she walked in to the bar, what was the point in talking to people she would never see again.

Walking in to the bar, the woman's iron gaze casually trailed from one side of the building to the other before finding a place to sit at the bar. Glancing over the mediocre menu, the woman sucked her teeth before flagging down the bartender to order her drink. "I'll take a glass of Malbec - No, scratch that... Just bring the bottle." Her tone was somewhat impatient and expectant, she was a customer after all! The woman drummed her dainty and decorated fingers while waiting for the bartender to bring her what she asked. Grabbing the bottle from the man along with the shaped glass to pour it in, the woman filled the glass with the red wine. Bringing the cooled drink to her lips, the domineering woman furrowed her brow for a moment before looking up at the bartender. "I guess this will have to do... Leave the bottle." She said before shooing the night-worker off to do whatever he needed to do, she honestly did not care.

Bringing the glass back to her lips once more, Alexandria took a moment to examine her surroundings. Thankfully there were no bumbling drunks causing problems, at least this bar had some level of class. The woman's thin index finger circled the rim of her glass while taking in everything around her. As she sat alone at the bar, the woman sighed. She was simply tired and wanted to forget, if only for one night. She had a lot of work ahead of her, so why not enjoy a night with a few decent drinks and maybe a bubble bath. "Did Charles make sure my place had a bath? If it doesn't, he'd better be prepared to get a scolding." Her thoughts made her slightly worried that she would not be able to enjoy something so simple. It wouldn't be the first time an employee of hers messed up royally. That was a thought to worry about when she crossed that bridge though.

$The night time was precisely the period where the gold could shine the brightest, with silver glowing up on the sky in the form of a beautiful Moon. All the pure light could touch was material, attainable, able to be bought and sold by some price. This was also the law of that land, the rich region of the city, the kingdom of wealth where Don reigned supreme without a single worry for the lost of a dime, or of a life. All that mattered was the money rolling in, stacks and decks and that whole scenario. The luxury of life was only enjoyable to those with the right coin to make it work, and fortunately, his fortune was more than able to grant that style of living, high class and unstoppable in expenses, the loss barely comparable to the amount of gains filling his heavy pockets. The expensive figure, rich beyond imaginable, carelessly made his way into the top heads of Fantaisie and now ruled over those fancy streets with a iron fist, coated by jewels and blinding bling. Albeit, behind the scenes, moving the money and manipulating those below along.

The Simple Wealth, as some people came to know Don, was today exercising the reaches of his powers and connections, making contracts and settling deals, utilizing speech skills and intimidation to tap into yet another endless pit of money, of green papers and golden bars. This was not as easy as many would come to think, and after going through a day like that, nothing better than to take some time off and spend the wealth, see if he could make a dent on his own bank account. A challenge most fierce, but entertaining. With that idea in mind, the major league player decided to take a stroll as soon as those rich shoes stepped out of a skyscraper of a business building, the location of his last meeting with another corporate head. The large glass doors would be opened at his presence by large towering entities, body guards of wide frames, dressed in black suits and the cliche glasses, 4 of the men in total. Yet, standing more imposing than any of them, came through the Barragan king, sharp attire and tipped hat, hands deep inside the coat pockets during his stride into the open world. As expected, a black car of shady windows and reflective surface, being so clean, was in wait of the grand figure.

The bodyguards would follow suit in another pair of cars that couldn't kiss the wheels of Don's luxurious vehicle, but served their purpose. The destination had already been marked during the meeting's period, so as soon as those darkened doors lowered and closed firmly, with Donovan inside, sitting comfortably in brown leather seats, the engine started and they went forward with the night's plan. Of course, there were drinks within the marvelous machine, food and whatever else he could ask for, even a computer and other eletronics for his time killing, but for now, all the male did was sit back, cross one leg over the other and look outside, observing the passing lights and the light music playing through the radio, the main source hidden behind a shadowy glass separating the passenger from the lower class, but educated and trained, driver. Soon enough, nearly surfing through traffic and getting curious looks from the city people walking outside, amazed by the sight of the expensive car with two others behind it in almost perfect synch, the final turn would be taken, allowing for the ending stop.

Waiting for the door to rise before stepping out, Don moved over carefully from the leather seat and landed a confident foot on the pavement outside of Abyss, the exterior lights illuminating the finer details of his outfit, even as a formidable hand brushed off those broad shoulders. With the 4 towers reuniting behind him, Simple Wealth came into the bar with his clothing flowing with the breeze of his pace, every door on the way opened by his servants. Only when near the bar itself would the one with the hat aknowledge truly the giants on his payroll. "Wait outside" Directly said, objective, the four nodded, spoke into the devices located visibly on their ears, and left the premises, most likely standing outside where the vehicles were in wait. Finally alone, Don sighed, his face turning towards the counter before actually approaching a proper seat. Tapping against the surface, a bartender rapidly came up to him, his presence there not unknown, and highly respected. "Get me the Black Cellar" The worker already knew what he was referencing, the place used to his tastes and fame, so much that barely minutes would pass before the bottle of Pinot Grigio Chardonnay was already at his reach. Pouring it on a crystal clear glass, taking care not to add too much, the wealthy man himself served, the bartender long gone the moment the bottle was given.

Taking a modest sip, his gaze would soon trail off to the surrounding area, scanning the many faces there and glad not to see any drunks. Just the usual pretty people that so strongly tried to reach the top of their careers and dream of owning a portion of the money he possessed. Most would fail, the rest would likely not even try. The peak of the mountain was the result, but the most frightening step to the feeble minds. Surprisingly, there was an actual interesting soul inside that place, located at the bar and enjoying red wine by her lonesome. When it came to looks, few during his lifetime matched her beauty, but certainly none looked like such a potent authority. This attracted his attention, but not wholeheartedly in the direction of flirting, the carnal affairs, but of questioning, wondering what life that singular woman led. Aware that the female would certainly take notice of him, given the entrance, the atmosphere of the place changing according to his presence, well known by any businesses in that richer part of the city, his index and middle finger would rise up, and present her with a visible card, swaying it side to side gently just to make her come close to see what was in it. His expression the pinnable of neutral, with eyes holding all of the emotion as they stared with a piercing gaze. Usual for an apex predator. This actions an invitation for the interesting lady, as not only the conversation would be worth it, but his own looks were above even the model standard as wealth could make even miracles.$

As she poured her second glass, a low murmur began to fill the nearly silent bar. Alex had not expected to see high-class people suddenly gossip amidst a public bar! Curious, the woman's dagger-like gaze flicked towards where most of the people lazing about were looking. Lenses landing on the door that the woman initially entered herself, her brow raised as if to wonder what all of the commotion was for. Although she noticed the man that seemed to cause the quiet uproar among the high-society connoisseurs, Alex had no idea whom this man was or why she had any ounce of a reason to care. But for some reason she continued to follow the masses and watch the man take a seat, at least he seemed more put together than some of the pigs that dared call themselves men. There was something unique about him, she wasn't going to stick up her nose and refuse to admit that. The only problem was, Alexandria wasn't the type to find interest in old money types - and he seemed as if he was deeply rooted in the community.

As the man ordered his drink, Alexandria watched him from her peripherals. She wanted to not draw attention to herself as she continued to enjoy her simple drink. But alas, it seemed that her efforts to stay in the background were futile. Her silver orbs blinked a few times, resting her cheek in the palm propped up by an elbow, before slightly tilting her head. "What does this conceited man want with me? Have I run in to him before?" She pondered before answering her own question. She would remember meeting such a man, most male interactions she had in the business world were less than desirable. With a scoff, the sable haired woman stood and stepped towards the one beckoning her. She had to resist the urge to tell him off for treating her like some hooker with a cat call but she had her ways with words.

"I couldn't help but notice you beckoning me with some kind of card? I think you might have me mistaken with one of your "Women of the night". I must assure you that I do not indulge in such demeaning acts." She said with the softest smile she could muster in the moment. Which wasn't much if she was being honest. Seeing an open seat next to the man, Alex decided to take it. She had no intentions of being on her feet after such a long day. Perhaps someone was sitting there before her and walked away for a moment, perhaps not, she honestly had no intention to move if someone asked her to. In a word, one could call her stubborn. The woman casually looked the man up and down as if sizing him up, not that she had any intentions of hiding her doing so. While he was relatively attractive, especially in the business world, it was hard to be impressed when her life revolved around beauty. "If that is not the case, might I ask why someone who seems so well established would be waving at me? I don't believe we have had the pleasure of meeting until now..." She said with a bit of a venomous yet sweet tone, tapping her lip somewhat sensually as her sentence trailed off.

As she was asking the man a few questions, mostly of confusion and some of offense. Alex couldn't help but feel a few stares from onlookers as if she was being judged in a talent show. The feeling made her internally shiver, the memories of trying to impress others once upon a time returning to her mind for a moment. She was thankful that she did not have to play anyone's game anymore and could run things her way. "What brings someone like you to such a quaint bar on an evening like so?" She asked once the male was finished answering, or not answering, her other questions. Of course she had not given the man a proper introduction, she deemed him unworthy of such a thing after the way he whistled her over like some common street whore.

$Once it was clear that the woman was preparing to rise from her seat, and most likely meet his presence, Don gazed ahead, staring down at his own drink while simultaneously placing his cards besides the glass, waiting. Not moving an inch, the bare ears listened to words of subtle harsh tones, considering his actions as something less than refined, as if treating the female as nothing more than a paid escort looking for yet another nightly deal. Scoffing himself this time, the Simple Wealth finally shifted his gaze at her direction, observing the way she took a seat next to his own, taking the sweet time to analyze his physical conditions from top to bottom, shamelessly so, confident as most business heads were. This action alone spoke volumes of the first impressions made, and the more it was confirmed his action was not in vain. Yet, how useful it would be remained debatable. To rival the formidable looking woman, dressed well and with complexion divine, his stare remained fixated to the depths of her dark orbs, no matter where they aimed. Thus, there was no need to move when more words began to escape those luxurious lips, this time reflecting on how Don was maybe not what first thought, and questioning why a person of his caliber would wave at her. "I see power in you, experienced, I want to know what business you command, and that's all." Barragan spoke in a serious tone, no emotion over it, just lightly raspy, and extremely calm, collected. Swiftly, the index finger and the thumb rose the wine glass, bringing it to his lips slowly for a gentle sip, not removing his eyes from the woman's.

Putting down the glass, not paying much mind to whatever intentions her words carried behind in each syllable, the emperor of gold and silver continued to speak. "...If it's to make real money, we meet, so you might've just finally reached the big leagues" Taking a second to examine her details just a little more, his face turned to the counter, entire body directed the same. Barely a single alteration to his clothing, a small movement only. It was only then, by analyzing things, gazing up and a little around to the reflective surfaces, that Don picked up the stares at their reunion, the powerhouses of money and beauty in a single spot was indeed an impressive view for the common conscience, weak and poor as it were. Yet, much like the empowering individual sitting next to his physical form, there was no consideration for those witnesses, feeling their presences as nothing more than bugs curiously observing. The dirt had eyes, like always, unfortunately. Then, moving things along, the mysterious and imposing woman asked him what the kingpin was doing there, in a bar of high classic standards on a regular night. Raising his eyebrows, the usage of a general 'pickup' line as it was known causing a dent to the impression, the male looked at her, expression just as neutral as before.

"Live on top for long, and you start missing the most humble levels. This place just feels comfortable enough" Nonchalantly, the answer came, and with a single eyebrow now standing, more speech was given, "And how about you? First time coming around?" Deciding to present a more social version of himself, to dig more into who and what this soul was, and represented, the male asked back to get the exchange going further, more friendly, more casual. It was just that Lei had been around the area often, knew the place like the palm of his hand and controlled the region with the ends of his digits, and still had never encountered the woman before, as attention calling as her looks were, and how blunt each word escaping those apparently tender lips were. Of course, the bluntness was usual, people in his places had to stand their ground, it was just a rare sight to hear it from a muse kind of face. And since her skills had not been shown, her power still hidden by good looks and offensive ways, Simple Wealth thought that maybe her rightful position was sitting for a photoshoot, and not dealing with actual business. Her worth was curious, but still low to the filth on his standards, until convinced otherwise.

Independent of the reply given, that entity at his side kept his senses up, the confidence and the demeanor hints of behaviors the man possessed when money was not nature, but yet a material he had in bulk, high on the paper and the coin, the shiny lifestyle before wealth was nothing more than an easily obtained power. " You have goals in this city? Making more of a name for yourself?" Perhaps he was being a tad straight forward, the questions lacking emotion and sensitivity, but there was the feeling his 'opposing' force was not going to pay much mind to it, just casually answer it in a way he could not yet guess, but wouldn't be surprised of it, most likely. The chances of this encounter being fun a fifty fifty porcentage, but hope was indeed the last thing to die, despite having his own murdered once.$

While her expression made little to no changes, the woman's thoughts were rampaging in her head. If one could give a physical description to a thought, hers would be a grown woman raging and throwing a tantrum of sorts. "What kind of Nineteen twenties womanizer- Finally reached the big leagues?! I'm not some damn child with pocket change!" Though of course, those were merely thoughts and she was a professional that did not let emotions surface at the drop of a hat. The domineering woman could only keep her cold and steel gaze on the man as he spoke. To a woman such as herself, the man seemed quite full of himself, perhaps he did have quite a name in this quaint city. But what good was business on such a small scale? That was, of course, assuming that the man only worked within the city walls. Keeping her composure on a surface level, the onyx haired woman could only blandly smile as she responded. "Well it's nice to see such a man like yourself perusing among those that are not worthy..." She said with a naturally calm tone and expression, though her words were obviously laced with venom. Only a truly dense idiot would be unable to understand the hidden meaning in her words. At some point, the slender woman had poured herself another drink due to quickly finishing the first. Just how annoyed was she?

Bringing the glass to her alluring lips, she allowed the liquid to enter before taking a sip of the decent wine. Alexandria could not help but feel a sense of disappointment as she had to give up her private bar for an unknown amount of time. It seemed the man before her truly believed himself to be a "higher existence" of sorts that deemed anyone else a worm so long as he stood above them. "What a scumbag!" She thought to herself, already judging the man based on first impressions. In the cutthroat business world, first impressions were everything, so naturally the woman gauged every person she came in to contact with solely on their first impressions of the person. Her brow raised as the man seemed to finally ask her a question, nearly thinking he would give his life story if he was not stopped. "Indeed I am new to this quaint city. Though I don't plan to stay for long... I have no interest in such a place." She said before bringing the glass to her lips once more. Alex only spoke the truth, although a tinge of her annoyance might have been gleamed from such words, she did not care.

Looking around the bar with her iron deposits, she internally scoffed at those that seemed to be staring at the two. Whether it was her beauty or his standing in the city, it was annoying nonetheless! As her gaze returned to the one conversing with her, Alex had to ponder on his looks one last time. After all beauty was everything to the woman, it was her lifeline! As she stared in to his chocolate gaze, the woman supposed that he was attractive enough. Perhaps with one too many drinks and a few wrong decisions she could see herself being woo'd by the man's looks alone. Sadly the same could not be said for his "charm" so far. Why did all men have to be such incomplete pieces of work! The onyx haired woman sighed internally as she wondered when she would find a man that would fill all the check marks in her list. She dreaded the thought of having to settle after pursuing so much in life.

As her second glass was drained, the woman gave a disappointed look before pouring yet another glass of the red nectar. Her attention only turned back to the man she was conversing with once a question was directed to her. "I do have a goal, though it is quite a simple one. I would rather not have my name known in such a... simple town so I won't make such grandeur goals, such as improving my status among the civilians here. That would be quite a fruitless effort from what I have seen so far." The woman responded in turn as her gaze shifted to the crowd of murmurs and onlookers. She had a bad premonition that if she made herself and her brand known that it would only lead to unfortunate things, headaches and more paperwork than she would prefer. Her gaze finally swept back to the conceited man before thinking of another question of her own.

"You seem to have quite an "air" about you... Might I ask, what family you come from?" She asked with a professional tone. Considering how "Old money" he looked and acted, the woman was almost certain that his wealth was not earned on his own. If that were true than she would have another reason to dislike the conceited and self centered man. Though she could only confirm through asking of course. An ironic emotion of hope blossomed that the man was indeed self sufficient and had earned his money and status. Perhaps he would have at least one redeeming aspect of himself if that were the case.

$A nod, simple and honest, was all that was given to the questioning woman when she stated that it was a nice view to see one of such caliber, within the confines of a place like that, below the standards of his own wishes. It was true for him, aware that the money stored and accumulated was the massive structure upholding the presence of Don anywhere he went, the mere steps of that man a reflection of giants in the business world, with him standing at the peak of the charts without having to break a sweat. Of course, there was respect for him and his ways, the big names knowing full and well of Simple Wealth's skills in the trade, and the overwhelming methods utilized to get ahead of everyone else in the game. The female was ignorant of this, but the safety of everything she had worked for in any number of years was in great peril just for being near the physical form of that blessed, rich individual. The money on her, the mere coins, all was within reach of his power, and with a single slip up, her bank accounts could be drained entirely. Confident on these facts, the need to please such a wickedly refined beauty was nonexistent.

Giving the shortest chuckle possible, lacking any expressions whatsover, still with the same enduring gaze, the money rolling man listened to her explain that her stay in the city was truly temporary, plans to move out soon most likely shifting behind the scenes as they spoke, the enchanting rear not important in the slightest on the grand scheme of things, but it still rose questions as to what were the real causes of the long haired one being there. People were nasty, filthy, ulterior motive driving them in so many occasions that the world of business, of power and ego, felt refreshing at certain situations when the masks came off, the cards placed in an all in. So, as expected, there was no way to simply trust one like her would just be waltzing around town without a single reason why. Foolish is he who doesn't believe he can't be fooled. "damn shame" Was all Donovan would say, knowing of the city's potential, about some of the citizens, and the odd occurences that actually resulted in profitable scenarios. With enough luck, and experienced vision, chances were the understand would enlighten itself upon that ignorant mind. Good luck was all he could say so far, albeit in mental whisper.

While now, the company stood with her second glass, finished and pouring the third, Barragan was done with his first one, taking sweet time to enjoy it, and to savor it well. In that gain centered conscience, the ponderings as to why her alcohol was fleeting so rapidly raised a few flags, the behavior seen before in considerable situations where the night could lead anywhere. From stains on Ubers, to temporary gossips behind the bar counter, to the closed doors of his room. Sincere as only a machine of financial expansion could be, the idea of enriching the curves of that venomous tongued figure not truly sticking to the panel of likely results. To see what she was actually made of, what profit would develop from perhaps connecting strategies, sponsoring or even being sponsored, those possibilities were the aim of his approach to her. The card exposed, a mere black and white one, with the title Don Barragan in exquisite font, followed by professional digits linked to nothing but expandable phones. "You focus on the wrong things, simple thinking like that will bury you in this city, but the potential is there" Honest to God, and to Hell and back, there his words went in the usual monotone manner. Reacting just to what was mentioned, and analyzing, being truthful to his personal laws, made unbreakable by experiences many times untold.

The next question though, would attract a more curious glance, the eyebrows furrowing at it in slight disbelief. It had been a while since a single soul had mentioned a thing about his family name, and if they once possessed power. Shaking his head slowly, pouring another glass to himself with extreme patience, the eyes remained fixated on the flowing substance into the transparent material. "huh... I'm a Barragan, but never met any that came before me. The title meant nothing until I made it strong, standing atop even the ones above you" Donovan Lei Barragan was as nonchalant as anyone could possibly be when answering, as if the claim was nothing but common sense and evident truth. Finished with the preparations, another sip was taken from his glass, focusing back on the opposing sex. "Your family name has a past? and as a simple favor, share your full name as well" It was clear that whether the full name was given or not, or even if the first part was answered, the care for it didn't exist in the slightest. Crystal on those dark orbs that examined the woman at each movement made, subtle and silent. Yet, keeping the same structures of his complexion unchanged, more words were brought forth in honesty. "... And with that wine, careful, my impression of you is quite well, but alcohol might ruin it, and the night as well" This time, the man had in mind that the words could lead to a backlash of some sort, but to see the reaction would maybe be entertaining, if not revealing of some certain theories.$

Alexandria was confused by the man's words, a shame? Was he perhaps looking for a good time and hoping she would stick around? The woman internally scoffed as she had little to no intentions of mingling with the swine that clothed themselves in suits harboring inside this murky city. The onyx haired woman watched the man's expression with hot iron lenses. As the red nectar filled glass was brought to the woman's lips, her eyebrow visibly twitched when the man referred to her line of thinking as simple. Simple? SIMPLE?! Oh hell no, his nineteen twenties advertisement a** did NOT just call me simple! Her thoughts began to spiral out of control and it was slowly becoming harder to keep herself composed with such an a** hat speaking with her. "Simple thinking? I just do not see any qualities in this city. The type of people located here are already not falling in line with my businesses vision." She replied in a calm manner, though her words were a quiet jab at the man and his over inflated ego. Someone had to set the egotistical and self-righteous jerk straight, and if it was her she would more than happily oblige.

The woman gently took the card from the bar, sliding it away from his glass to examine it further. "Don Barragan"... What kind of name was that she wondered. No wonder his ego was so inflated! He seemed to have that name to go with the act! Don, Short for Donald? No, else it would be on the business card. Internally, the woman was frustrated that the man seemed to have such a conceited name! There was no way she would believe that was his birth name. He had to have changed it when an adult!

The woman quietly listened as the man partially introduced himself, it seemed he was from humble beginnings after all. At least he had one remarkable aspect to him, she would only loathe those who claimed to be successful when they had everything handed to them. Though she did not appreciate the last part of his answer, she would let it slide. Her brow raised as well as her glass as the met, he finally felt the desire to ask for her name. Interesting. Finishing her glass of red nectar, the woman grabbed a napkin and gently padded around her lips before replying. "Alexandria... Alexandria Black. A simple name, I know." She stated, throwing another small jab at his previous remarks to her. She had no qualms with her name but knew that she would not be known in this quaint city. After all, her agency was much more well known overseas than anywhere in the states.

As he commented on her drinking habits, the woman only smiled before pouring herself another glass. Bringing the delicate drink holder to her lips once more, the woman stayed silent as she slowly consumed the entire glass in one go but in a somewhat refined manner. As the glass landed next to her on the bar, Alexandria dabbed her lips once more with a napkin before closing her eyes with a smile. "I assure you Mister Barragan, I can handle my liquor." She replied while already pouring herself another glass. Of course she was feeling a slight buzz in her fingertips but she wouldn't dare back down now! "Though I can understand if you cannot... It's perfectly normal for some people to have issues with holding their alcohol." She said as her smile widened, obviously showing her fangs once more with her words.

$Tilting a head to the side only to listen to her words over the matter of simple thought, it was possible to notice by how the sentence was organized that the advice was not taken in the correct way. Matter of fact, it seemed like some emotion was added to her answer with the mention of how the people didn't fit with the vision her businesses carried. For a second, the body remained silent, frozen like a statue as the mind pondered, gaze cold. "I see, there some steps yet to climb if your vision still includes the 'people', but as I said before, there is potential" Repeating somewhat the line utilized previously, there wasn't a shred of care for the nature of what each syllable represented to the woman's ears. After all, in his sight, her potency belonged to the most basic levels of creativity in making the proper profitable ideas. Still, there was no denying that the brand under her command, whatever it might've been, could hold significant power even to the Simple Wealth, and it would be unwise to merely treat this encounter as a needless conversation, without the chances of it bearing fruits, in one way or another, money wise.

Then, the chilling eyes of darkened color observed his own card be pulled away from his reach, taken from beside the mighty fine glass of wine and onto her hand, gripping gently as the woman analyzed the contents of that singular material, humble and objective as it was. Truly without worry over her opinion on it, there was the curiosity to maybe learn what she thought of it, her view on his name, but then again, it seemed that this individual had no idea of who the subtle Barragan was. Not surprising, as the major players were all beneath his control, suffering the fear of having their entire lives wasted with their money being drained from their grasp in the matter of minutes, at most. This also counted with the respect from how he handled meetings and contract making, imposing and unstoppable in regular situations. The tik of a second was enough to submerge the contents of his bank accounts with another fresh portion of money, precious jewels and gems, and golden bars. As lavish as one's life and time could be. But all of this, from behind the scenes, pulling the strings of international and national enterprises, and brands of varying lines of work, so it would be common for his name, well treated as it was, to be left out of the light seen by the 'smaller participants' of the world of money flow.

Alexandria Black. Much like the other way around, the name didn't truly ring a bell, but it felt strong, somewhat intimidating with the meanings behind the first name, and the sheer weight that the second naturally packed. It was perhaps a somber title, but it wasn't like his own didn't share some of the atramentous vibe. His was most likely more on the professional side, without the whole spice. In whatever case, the revelation was received with a nod of appreciation at her direction, the ends of those short dark lines swaying lightly with the movement. "Simple if you make it so" Casually, the comment was made at her answer, stating herself that it was in the simpleton caliber, but without much to add to it, another sip was taken from the dainty glass and his focus returned to the counter momentarily, reflecting on certain subjects before moving things along. Of course, making sure the seconds of pondering weren't long enough to cause a possible awkward silence, or raise suspicions as to what occurred within the expensive mind.

The next interesting bit would come in the form of her presenting skills in the deparment of drinking alcohol, exposing resistance and a smug confidence when doing so. Gulping the liquid down without worry, maintaining a formidable pose, and cleaning up after the action in the most finesse way known to the regular crowd, Alexandria proved the capability to handle a single glass of wine in one go. At the words, hinted all over with a light taste of a challenge, Donovan raised a single eyebrow for three seconds and stood silent, taking yet another gentle sip from the wine brought out especially for him by the bartender and the fear of getting fired. "That is indeed real, and perhaps, it falls under known theories, of people saying that powerful people can withstand alcohol with no trouble, maybe you're like that..." It was some sort of compliment, at chance, but that wasn't the end of his words, trying a hand at the stinging part of their little interaction. Furrowing eyebrows lightly, staring into the depths of her pupils with the blank facial expression, and packing that same faintly raspy voice of an experienced man, Barragan claimed, "Yet, I'm not all that certain your good looks can survive more of that wine you drink. Beauty is a fleeting thing, and it fades rapidly, more so than normally thought" Coming back with monotone speech carrying more of a challenging essence, the smooth baller went back to his own wine glass, savoring a most tender and slow sip with the trademark unbreakable confidence.$

In a word, Alexandria was increasingly annoyed with the man and essentially everything about him. She was on the verge of losing her cool and on her sixth drink at this point. Being an emotional person when inebriated, the the onyx-haired female only became more agitated as she became more intoxicated. Potential? Who was he, her father? His words made it seem like she was being recruited to something unbeknownst to her, though it only irritated her more. A few verbal scoffs could be heard as the woman's reason began to leave her with each passing sip of her drink. Her ashen gaze softened and her eyelids dropped somewhat as she listened to the man speak, for what little he did. He was really not her type, so overconfident and full of himself, such a shame. Don had to physical attractions to meet her standards, just barely, but the two mixed like water and oil. It seemed like her night would end on a quiet note of stumbling home and taking a bath after all.

Not bothering to judge how many glasses she had filled at this point, the domineering female brought the red liquid to her lips once more. Her head was beginning to bob ever so slightly as she listened, struggling to hold the heavy object up with her neck. She was barely able to keep herself composed with enough effort, though even that was slowly slipping out of her grasp. "Well I do make it so~." She replied, Alexandria's tone becoming slightly slurred as she spoke. Her delicate smile becoming a bit looser as she brought the glass to her lips once more.

The proud woman stuck her chest out as he actually, sort of, complimented her! Nodding to no one in particular, she chuckled as if she had just won an argument. "I'm glad you can see how powerful I am~!" She said while lazily pointing the glass at the man sitting next to her. A small bit of the red liquid nearly toppled out of the glass but the woman pulled the piece back towards her person. "Hehe... That was close~" The woman giggled out before finishing off the last of the glass in her hand. As if one motion went hand in hand with the other, the woman quickly poured herself another portion of the nectar. The onyx-haired woman lightly swirled the thick liquid in the cup before bringing it to her lips once more.

One could say she'd become quite intoxicated at this point.

$Reacting to his words and brief actions, it was clear that the alcohol was starting to truly get a grip on the woman. Her physical responses were much more sincere, even more blunt than the moments before, and to handle the weight of her own form was apparently becoming a harder task to be responsible of at each passing second. With all of that happening, the man felt right in finishing his mere second glass, the pace many times slower than the opposing figure when it came to downing that intoxicating substance. In fact, it was odd to live through that, being the 'overwhelming' one at that situation and still the most sober, with less alcoholic liquid running through his enriched veins and allowing for a detailed observation of all the little steps taken by Alexandria descending into the swirling madness that was getting drunk. One had to wonder what kind of events led the bougie looking woman to accept drinking that much and reaching that point with someone she didn't know. Perhaps there was something reciprocate in their interaction, in terms of the potential for power one saw in the other. Well, now it would be either too hard, or considerably easy, to figure it out as the truth serum that was the buzz would most likely work its terrible magic.

With the answer that she 'indeed made it so', the tone of voice gave away more on her status. The smile, that she so proudly kept contained, laced with venom after each harsh phrasing, now seemed a tad more honest, and less packed with ill will, probably judging his ways and personality. It was a known fact that the first impressions were not that stellar with Donovan, as the methods utilized by the money maker went into different paths and generated outcomes that few people could understand, but with results that were undisputable. Pouring yet another glass to himself, this time with more speed to it, Simple Wealth turned to gaze at Lady Black, shifting his body along so his torso would also be directed towards her. Now, there was no need to maintain a more distant pose relating to the other, as harmless would be the key to describe the atmosphere revolving around her. Of course, the alcohol could bring hidden sides and skills, but to one as confident, the fear lacked basic existence. "In what industry does your name have weight? I would place my chips in modeling, or fashion, personally" Barragan guessed her line of work, what kind of career stood below her belt, but as many times before, the chance of being wrong was real.

Then, chuckling lightly, the show of her almost spilling the red contents of her fancy glass was somewhat unexpected. More on the side of himself not having in mind the possibility of dealing with a drunk that evening, but still relevant. Scratching the base of his chin, tediously in appearance but not feeling anything enough on that sense to truly be bored, the manipulator of all that had worth pondered about the situation both found themselves in, and casually, the comments came from brain to mouth. "You are splendid, but the floor just might be where you spend a few moments if that alcohol is not handled. Take your time, and there are also hotels around if you don't want a long trip home after this, presuming you have enough money to get an Uber" The woman had been fortunate that the patience was momentarily impressive, coming from Lei. Usually, the way to go would be to just leave the people behind, no matter how nice or attractive, to go deal with other scheduled tasks. In this scenario though, time was on Donovan's hands, and he had plenty to spare for the rest of the night, deciding to relax with a visit to the bar. Yet, again, there was the need to admit the curiosity in seeing what else happened to Alexandria, and how she would react to things, believing that much like herself, he had stumbled upon a rare encounter with the other involved in the conversation.$

Everything in sight was becoming a dizzying, and slightly nauseating, mess. How much time had passed since she sat on the bar stool? Was it morning already? Alexandria had to blink more than once to understand just what was happening in front of her. Any words that reached her ears became a jumble of words that Alex had to skillfully take apart before the next sentence was spoken. Thankfully she was not falling out of her chair from the levels of alcohol in her system. Thin arms struggled to keep their balance on the bar as the other conversed. How many drinks did she have you ask? Does such a number matter? In all honesty she stopped counting after six and was almost certain she was on the second bottle. Red nectar continued to kiss her plush lips with no care in the world for what was to come the following words. Small hiccups could be heard emitting from the dainty thing as she tried her best to focus on the over-confident man speaking. Thankfully she knew her limit, right.

"Indus... *hic*. Industry? I.. I, I run an aay-jen-see~! Loht's of puh... *hic* pretty girls~" Words came out in a jumbled and slurred mess as the woman did her best to respond. Reaching inside her coat pocket, the dainty woman pulled out a small business card of her own and waggled it in front of the bland man. Whether Don decided to take such an object was up to him, her mind was too focused on other things to be worried about what he did. Perhaps she was an alcoholic of sorts? Though if asked it would be vehemently denied by the thin woman. She would never admit to such weaknesses! Alexandria knew that admitting to weakness was the first step to being stepped over by those in contention with her and the business she ran. "Once... Up... Upon a time *hic* I whaas a maaaahhh-dell~ The... The the the money was ah-wuh-full though~!" An explanation that was probably not needed was given to the man. Steel orbs watched the hand holding her drink playfully roll the glass to make the liquid swirl inside while lightly giggling to herself. It seemed that the drunken lady was quite amused with the simple things. Though aren't most drunkards?

Slate lenses squinted as Don seemed to be warning her of something but she was too far gone to understand the raven haired man's meaning. Alexandria stubbornly puffed her cheeks before lightly kicking her legs to show how much balance she had on the bar stool. Of course as soon as she started the woman nearly rolled right off of the small seat. "I... *hic am fine... fine fine fine~!" She exclaimed before teetering her head back and forth with a small smile on her lips. "I'm... suuure a... *hic* gentleman such as your... yourself would not mind giving such a lady... *hic* like myself a ride~." Her words were followed by a vain attempt to trail her fingers up Don's chest. To no ones surprise she completely missed her mark and nearly fell forward. Thankfully her other hand was gripping the seat to keep her atop the cushion.

A small pout came from Alexandria before she promptly slid to face the bar once more, slamming her small fist in to the wood. "Another round! Come on!" She exclaimed in a bit of a drunken rage. Obviously she was attracting attention from onlookers.
