Critique? Ya sure? X_X (I hate givin' critique even though I know that I am helping the artist improve 'cause I hate offending ppl...)
Ok, ok. 1.) The bow is shaped kind of wrong. The two ends should curl at around the same height since she's upright, but the left side is longer than the left (though she COULD have tied it up uneven, but that's very unlikely when it comes to characters)
2.)Basically her forehead is way too large. Also that hairline thing, but its been mentioned so I won't go any further.
3.) Even though I see that her head's pretty big 'cause she's leaning forward, it is still pretty oversized. Shrinking? needs to occur.
4.) Again, that chair thing. Most chairs don't have their legs spread out all like that (they usually face the same direction). And also, where is the back of her chair? Or is it a stool? If its a stool, stools usually have very straight legs. Slanted legs make it look like a chair.
5.) The end of her hair looks fizzy. (especially the first curve at the end-- it looks extremely blunt. Usually the first curve is longer than the rest, but it looks very... fat.) Maybe it needs to be longer?
6.) The shoes are overall ok except for where they are placed. (NOTE: I may be wrong) It looks like the left (to our right) leg is raised higher than the right (to our left) leg. I dunno. It looks alright though (I would not have noticed if I was not looking for stuff to critique at)
I LIKE YOUR ART. (especially the right arm). I love how you made the right arm closer to the viewer, and how you made the arm larger and made it more realistic. It's something I'll never be able to do for years... ^^ Background? Please? Wishful thinking
Thank you
3nodding I don't like giving critique myself, but harsh critique often works very well on me. The harsher the person is, the better my next image is, haha, I'm so weird.
1) Bow, yes, should've used reference for that one... it's way messed up.
2) Head thing was intentional.
3) Once again, I know it's too big.
4) Ah... the chair thing sure made me remember to pay more attention to details in the future ^^;
5) Don't agree here xD I always draw hair like that, ick!
6) Hmm... actually since one of her feet is placed in front of the other (leg stretched out more) it should look like that... feet are rarely on the exact same plane even when they're on a flat ground.
And yes, I've been working on backgrounds and promise to bring more of those to you as soon as possible
