My sister hates it. She's pretty much against all anime/manga, 'cause she thinks its all "cartoons made for little kids" and that "I'm too old to be watching/reading/writing/talking about it."

My mom doesn't really mind. She likes that I have a hobby, and is glad that I watch anime instead of doing something dangerous. xd She's tried to understand the show before, but the more I try to explain it to her the more confused about it she gets. She's watched it with me before though.

My dad doesn't care either. As long as I don't watch it in front of him, he's fine with it. Or, if I do watch it in front of him, he makes fun of all the names and tries to immitate the voices. rofl

My friends.. used to like the show. Back when we were in 7th grade [5 years ago] we all didn't mind it. But now I think I'm the only remaining fan. They don't make fun of me though (not to my face at least.)

Well, my mom is fine with it. She tries to understand it sometimes to have conversations with me but isn't too interested. She did get disturbed when she saw that evil Gouzaburou devil thing chasing after the Battle Ship, saying it was kind of Satanic to her.
My dad seems interested in it once in a while and might sit down and watch like ten minutes of it with me or something, but he usually just ends up making fun of the Japanese in it. XP Once when Yami no Yuugi kept shouting, "Mariku!" out of anger my dad thought he was going, "Mike!" My dad's name is Mike. XD
My older sister (she's 19) likes it a little bit but mostly only the parts that don't involve dueling. Her favorite character is Kajiki Ryouta/Mako Tsunami but she likes Jounouchi a bit too. *my influence...* She likes anime and manga and stuff too, but mostly prefers Shoujo stuff where I'm more of a Shounen person.
My older half brother (29) kind of likes it too though he often makes fun of me for how obsessed I am. I've gotten him to watch like the first thirty episodes in Japanese and he liked it but not enough to keep finding time to watch them. He also likes my False-Bound Kindom and World Wide Edition games and I've gotten him to duel me a few times.
My three older half sisters (all in their late 20's and early 30's) know I like it and try to show interest in the art mostly but are basically indifferent.
Most of my close friends like it and the ones who don't make fun of me in a playful way for liking it once in a while but are usually fine with it.

I'm almost 21. My parents are happy I'm not drinking/pregnent/married/have a criminal record, and that I'm in a top University getting my undergraduate degree. They really don't care that I find perverse enjoyment with an anime/manga.

My brother is completely into it with me, my father doesn't care and even spoils us with videogames he sees and knows is what we like ("Whatever that may be."), and my mother doesn't understand it, but it keeps us occupied and happy so she's alright.

Well I don't think my brother really cares.He kinda likes the show too(I think sweatdrop ) But I think he likes the cards better.My mom....already thinks I'm crazy so it doesn't really matter.She'll listen to me ramble on and on about it though.n_n; Also if it happens to be on and she's not watching anything she'll watch it with me.She just thinks the duels are ridiculous. sweatdrop And my friends don't really care...well I don't think they do..

My family kind of make fun of me for liking it, but no matter how many times I try to explain it to them, they will never accept that it is not just some children's show about cards. Whenever I try to explain it, they seem to switch off and then wait for me to finish so they can go back to teasing me. I'm not bothered. I tried, and it doesn't detract from my enjoyment so whatever. And my little brother is a fan so I can chat with him about it (even if he is only seven. It's so cute watching him get confused when I use the sub names). xD

My mom wacthes yugioh with me... and my close friends seem to enjoy it aswell, and my other friends really don't care for it. My dad is not into this anime thing at all and thought yugi was a girl even though he knew yugi was a guy's name ((WTF? moment)) My brother is hooked like I am and my cousins are all in to video games and samurai moives and they don't apreciated japanese pop cuture (( And i'm the happa ))

Most of my family thinks I'm immature. So I've stopped trying to explain to them because they just don't get it. D;
My mom actually can remember things I tell her about certain characters, so I don't care if anyone else is listening to me, as long as mommy does. XD

Hmm, my family doesn't care. Sister likes it with me (I think I kinda got her into it...) and my parent's don't mind. They tease about it, and if I watch it in front of them, they make fun of it. But then again, I make fun of it too, so it doesn't matter. sweatdrop My mom might think it's a little creepy, but she doesn't care.

See now I have this grandmother.... and I know if she saw me watching it she would freak out. Once, quite a few years ago, my parents were out of town and I had to stay at my grandparents' house... well, I made sure that I spent the night at my friend (who likes it as well)'s house, so that I wouldn't have to risk my grandma freaking out. But then her dad was like "OMG LETS GO OUT TO EAT I'M GONNA MAKE YOU MISS SOME OF YOUR GAY SHOW LOL!!" and we were like "NOOOO....." and we saw it anyway. Then went out to eat.

My dad doesn't mind that I like Yuugiou, he enjoys it himself. He used to watch it with me a lot during battle city and right around the time that Mai had lost her duel to Yami no Malik. But then he never saw the end of the season, so everytime he saw me watching the show he'd ask, "Did they rescue that girl from the shadow realm yet?!" Meanwhile, the series had already moved on to doma. rofl

My mom sort of begrudgingly tolerates my liking the show. She thinks I'm too obsessed with it, though. Thing is, somedays she'll get all angry just from me saying the word Yuugiou, getting all "ohmigod you're way to obsessed blah blah blah..." and then the next day she's all into it and trying to watch the show with me and understand it. I really can't figure it out. @____@

My mother doesnt understand my obbsession with anime or with Yu Gi Oh! And becuase im a Yaoi fan she suddnely belives all Japanese anime me is 'Gay porn' stare I know verty generalized and i told her that in fact a lot of anime was stright and a forced her to watched Ghost in the shell and she liked it even if shje didnt get most of it.

My sister is a fan of Yu Gi Oh and i watch it with her the rest of my family dont know/Care.
