User ImageWhen you first open the door to dorm Room Number 501 and walk in, you see that the room is normally what one would expect of Rayna - simple, to say at the least. The walls were a soft white, but it looked like it someone had splattered different colors of paint on them- red, blue, yellow, green. Mainly the colors of the rainbow. The carpet was a soft, red violet color. It was a shaggy carpet, so one would feel comfortable walking on it with their bare feet- which Rayna liked to do often. On the walls hung a few posters and drawings Rayna did herself- which she took down if anyone came into the room. On the plain, white ceiling, above the bed, was some type of mural, where she had taped many photographs of her friends, family, old school, etc. The window was a bay window, and on the sitting area were a red violet cushion- almost the same color as the shaggy carpet. A few small, blood red pillows decorated the area for more comfort if it was wanted. Over the window were white, long curtains that were partially see through in daylight- her old curtains weren't large enough for the new window. If you looked out the window, you would have a beautiful view of the large forest extending to the horizon.

The bed, pushed up in the opposite corner of where the door was, was rather large- a queen sized. The blanket was large and comfy, and it was white with small, multicolored lines go every which direction, though the sheets were a plain white. Two medium sized pillows sat on the bed as a large body pillow rested against them, in front of them. The medium sized pillows had white colors with the same design as the blanket, but the body pillow was a metallic wine color. Pinned up on the wall next to the bed was a small dream catcher- the two feathers on it the colors of black, brown, and white. The outline of the dream catcher was dark brown and the thread was an off-white. A few beads hung off of it, as well. On the other side of the bed was a light brown nightstand, with a small table lamp on it. The lamp shade was plastic and resembled the design of church windows- but it wasn't see through. A few flowers were the design of the lampshade. The stand was a metallic gold color, and was made of metal. A few books lied next to the lamp, most of them without titles on the front cover. On the pile of books rested a black alarm clock, where the time showed in a bright, neon green.

The wooden desk was small and light brown, and across the room from the bed and window. On it were scattered sheets of paper, most of them sketches or unfinished drawings. On a corner of it rested a black reading lamp, which if one turned it on, would produce quite a bright light, contrast to the lamp next to the bed, which produced a dim, yet still bright, yellow light. Near the center of the desk was a coffee cup filled with different kinds of writing utencils- most of them being mechanical pencils. The rest were an assortment of pens, colored pencils, regular pencils, paint brushes, etc. On the other corner of her desk was a CD case organizer which could hold from twenty to thirty CD cases. Of course, it was completely filled. A few more books also rested on this desk- some of them textbooks, and some just for reading. Also on the desk was a large radio with a built in CD player and casset tape player. Taped onto the wall that the desk was pushed up against was an old photo. In it was a family of four and a pet cat to the side. The older man looked to obviously be the father, with dark brown hair and blue, sparkling eyes. He was tall, with a bit of muscle in his arms and broad shoulders. The woman next to him was very beautiful, with short, dark, shiny red hair and bright green eyes. She had creamy colored skin and a small smile as she clasped her hands together in the picture, leaning on the man. She also appeared to have small fangs in her teeth. In front of the pair were two small children, looking around the same age. The one in front of the woman was a little boy, with reddish hair and large, blue eyes. Two fox ears protruded from his head and a fox tail behind him. He beamed as he held onto the stool he sat on, his legs extending straight out. Next to the boy was a young girl with a bright smile and her hands behind her back. She had long, ruby red hair and sparkling blue eyes, fox ears also on top of her head and a what appeared to be swishing tail behind her. She had light colored, creamy skin. On the tall man's shoulder was a familiar copper colored cat with piercing, hawk-like yellow eyes.

On the opposite wall of the bed was a door leading to the bathroom. It wasn't very spacious, but it was medium-sized. When you just walked in, you could see the shower right in front of you, but it didn't face you- it faced the wall to your left. The white, porcelain toilet was in the corner opposite of the door, but was facing the wall the door was on. Right across from the toilet was a white sink with clear, mock-crystal knobs, one with a red 'H' and the other with a blue 'C' to show which knob turned on hot water and which one turned on cold. The walls had pale yellow wallpaper as the bathroom tiles on the floor were an off-white color. A mirror hung above the sink, which happened to also be a medicine cabinet.

Next to the desk in the corner across from the bed was another door. This door led to Rayna's walk-in closet. It was a bit large, but not very. Sweatshirts and sweaters hung on hangers as T-shirts were put in one area, jeans were put next to them, and shorts in the other. She didn't have very many clothes, but she had a decent amount. Also in the closet was a shoebox collecting dust. No one but Rayna knew what was inside that box- and only a few people knew about the box itself. In a corner of the closet was a skateboard, also a bit dusty. A few cardboard boxes were placed under the shelves of the closet, as one place was reserved for shoes- although she only had a pair of plain, black tennis shoes, a pair of dark brown, thong sandals, and a pair of giraffe-printed, fuzzy slippers. She also had a 'private' drawer in her closet, for all her socks and undergarments. On one shelf of the closet lied large stacks of drawings and such, but they were on a high shelf. On another shelf, more near the ground, was a small refridgerator, which had a small stock of juice, tee, soda, etc., should anyone visit her or if she was thirsty herself.

The room in itself gave a homely feeling, and it made you feel comfortable right when you walked in.

Rayna was standing in front of her door, leaned against it as she shuffled through her messenger bag. She then pulled out a silver, metal key and pushed it into the keyhole, turning it to the left. Once she heard it unlock, she opened her door, walking into her dorm room and shutting the door behind her. She lazily slipped off her black tennis shoes, kicking them to the wall next to the door and staggered to her bed. Once she reached the edge of it, she jumped, plopping down on it and bounced up a little, sighing. She then turned so that she was laying on her back. She looked around, sighing. "It's a little too big in here." she said to herself. This was odd- normally, girls would love to have large rooms. But in Rayna's old dorm in her old school, it was small, and that was how she liked it. She sighed once more, closing her eyes.

Rayna opened her eyes, shutting them tightly as she saw it was light out. She first covered her head with her blanket, curling into a ball and laying there for a minute. When she saw that that didn't help her fal back asleep, she uncurled from her ball and threw the covers off of her head, looking over to the clock she had put on her headboard on top of her books. It read 7:55 AM. Rayna groaned, looking up to the ceiling. "It's too early." she whimpered, throwing her blanket above her head once more. After another minute or two, she sighed, sitting up straight in her bed, causing the blanket to fall off. She swung her legs over and rested her feet on the soft, shaggy carpet, stratching her arms and yawning. She then stood up, stretching her entire body. She looked down at her clothing and furrowed her eyebrows. When did I change into pajamas? she asked herself. She wore a large, light lime green T-shirt and a pair of black shorts that went just above mid thigh. Shrugging, she lazily walked over to her walk-in closet, opening the door and going inside.

A few minutes later, she came out, now wearing a pair of baggy, faded blue jeans and a form fitting, dark green T-shirt, which had a weird looking, black logo on it that Rayna didn't recognize. She walked over to her bathroom, opening the door and going over to the sink. She opened up her medicine cabinet and grabbed her toothpaste and toothbrush. After applying some toothpaste to the toothbrush, Rayna began to brush her teeth, humming to herself as she walked back into her room, slipping her black tennis shoes on. After a couple more minutes of brushing, she went back into her bathroom and rinsed her teeth and toothbrush, placing it back in the medicine cabinet with the tube of toothpaste. She then walked back into the bedroom and over to her desk, grabbing the brush she left on it. She then began to try to brush through her horribly snarled hair. After ten minutes of pulling the brush through and wincing, she finally finished, setting the brush down. She felt her scalp throb a little, but paid no attention to it. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, walking back to her bed and laying down, waiting for Kylie to come in and wake her back up- which is what Kylie usually did.

Makie skipped down the halls happily. Today she was wearing a red summer dress with darker red straps. The bottom of the dress went to her knees and a line of light pink went across the bottom of it. Under her summer dress, she wore a light pink shirt. The neck of the shirt was ruffled and the short sleeves puffed out resembling those sleeves on a princess' dress. In her silky brown hair, there were to red ribbons in her hair, the same color as her dress. This is what she normally wore during the spring and summer. Also, Makie was listening to some techno song since they seemed to brighten up your mood! Right now she was listening to Streamline by Newton. It was that techno pepsi commercial song! It was so intense! Makie was especially happy since it was summer, and it would nearly mark the day she first came to Ria. Oh, such happy days they were!

"Hellowoh new day!" Makie said with a few twirls down the halls. "It's so beautiful out! The sun is shining and the clouds are like little cotton balls in the clear blue sky!" That was when she passed a door with the cutest Welcome sign on it! The brunette stopped to look at the sign. Adorable! It looked hand-made too! Maybe the girl in this room would make one for Makie? No! No! Bad Makie! You should never ask people you don't know for favours or a request! Shame! That was when the brunette's milk chocolate eyes floated up to the name. Rayna... Rayna was a pretty name! But the brunette didn't know a Rayna. Too bad. It was such a pretty sign, and Makie haven't seen any of her friends that day. With a sigh, the brunette turned on her heels, and... Tripped up in her own feet, her small pale hand knocked against the door hard enough for the person inside to hear it.

"Owwwie..." Makie said, sitting up and rubbing her wrists from floor burn. "Way to go Makie..." The brunette got slowly up, still examining her, now red, wrists. Floor burn hurt a lot, especially when you hit it off the ground before getting floor burn. Twice the pain. That and, her MP3 player kind of died on her and skipped over her techno songs. The small brunette just bought that MP3 player, and it wasn't cheap. She used the money that her grandpa sent her early for her birthday. So, it's not like she can ask for even more money from her grandpa... Turning off the MP3 player, Makie let out a sigh... Maybe there's such a thing as being too clumsy and happy. Remember: Happy and clumsy doesn't mix.

"Okie... Turning down the energy a bit... Owwie..." The small Makie said, beginning to walk away.

Sincerely Sunshine

Rayna was inside, sitting on her large bed as she was sketching something out- like she always did when no one was around. She was a good artist, but she didn't even let people know she was one. As she drew a slender line down the paper, she suddenly heard a loud knock on the door, making her jump. To her dismay, it also causing her to make one dark, lead streak go across the paper. "Oh, no..." she whispered, looking down at it with wide eyes. She then shook her head, flipping it upside down and hopping off of the bed. 'No worries. I'll re-do it.' she said to herself, walking over to the door. She seemed to have forgotton to take off a few of the drawings on her walls- she did that whenever someone visited her dorm room. Even with her good friends Kylie and Charlie. She was very modest about her art.

Rayna grasped the doorknob and opened it, looking around in the hallway, to see a girl beginning to walk away. She sensed that she was in pain- being half demon was kind of useful that way. So Rayna, being the helpful person she always was, quickly ran over to the girl, stopping in front of her. "Err, excuse me, but are you alright?" she asked. She then noticed her red wrists and winced. She extended her hand. "Here, you want to come to my room so we can treat that?" she asked, smiling. SHe made her fox ears twitch a few times, causing the multiple earrings in them to jingle like they always did. She hoped it would make the girl feel a little better.

Makie was beginning to walk away when she heard the door. She wasn't sure if it was the girl from that room... Could she have heard the brunette fall, or...? Ohh... The brunette thought, remembering her hand knocked loudly against the door as she fell. Maybe she inturrupted something! Oh no! The brunette began to quicken her pace, staring right down at the ground, afraid she might have angered the girl inside the dorm. That would be terrible! Talk about a first impression... Man, how terrible... Although... Maybe Makie could play with the girl... Gah! Make up your mind Makie! She thought before she heard a voice come in front of her, causing the small brunette to look up.

"I-I-I'm okay... I-I just..." The brunette began before having an arm extended to her. She paused for a second, before using her small pale hand to take the other girl's hand. When the girl mentioned her room, Makie panicked for a second. Was this okay? To go into a strangers dorm? She could go back to her dorm, but then again it was also rude to decline an invitation. The brunette was unsure of what to do. Oh dear... Oh dear... What should I do? Eanie meanie miny moe? No... Get real Makie... She thought, giving herself a mental kick. Well, it was she could do really, because it was rude to keep people waiting for an answer... Yes, it was rude to do many things in Makie's mind, leaving hardly any options to choose in the end.

"A-Are you s-sure t-that's okay...? I-I mean... I don't e-even know you..." When the red head's fox ears began to twitch, Makie blushed. She loved furry animals, and she loved little fox ears! They made Makie want to huggle the person, or kitsune, or neko, like a big stuffed animal... Yes, Makie looked and acted just like a 6 or 7 year old. Don't even ask how she got into a high school. She was 13, so she was old enough to fit in wth other teenagers, but... She wasn't very mature most of the time, and she took a lot of things to heart, which made her an easy target to be bullied around.

"O-Okay... I-I don't r-really have any where to b-be..." The small Makie said with a soft smile. Furry things was one of her weaknesses, and besides, Rayna could lso be one of her friends! Maybe... Err... Hopefully...

Rayna smiled, laughing a bit. She took a hold of the girl's hand, careful of the burn, and led her back to Rayna's dorm, her tail swishing along the way. Rayna opened the door to her room, for it had closed on it's own, and walked in, letting go of her hand. She pointed to the large bed. "You can sit there," she said, then pointed to the bay window. "Or there." she said, and then pointed to her chair at her desk. "Or there. I'll go and get a cool washcloth for your wrists." she told her, walking into the bathroom. While Rayna grabbed a washcloth from the medicine cabinet, she suddenly wondered about her sketch of Charlie she was working on. She bit her lip, sad that she had made that one dark line across the page. She had almost been done, too. 'I'll draw a new one.' she said to herself again, now soaking the washcloth with cool water. "So what's your name?" Rayna called from the bathroom.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 19, 2006 1:28 pm
When Rayna laughed, Makie bit her lip. She was unsure if she did or said something funny. The brunette blushed even more, focusing her soft gaze to the floor once again. That was when she was being led into the dorm she was looking at before. Was she the really god artist? Sweet! This is awesome! The brunette wondered if this girl, Rayna, if she was the girl who lived in the dorm, had any more pictures inside. So, not only did she have a furry tail and ears, but she was a good artist! Wow... Makie was short and plain girl who danced. Then she caught sight of the swishing tail.

It's so cute... Makie thought to herself, blushed a deeper red. She had a weakness for furry cute things as mentioned before. Actually, she normally stayed clear of people with furry tails or ears, because of her wanted to hug the person, which would be weird. So, it was a bit awkward for Makie, but at the same time, the furryness took her mind off of the pain. When Makie heard Rayna's voice again, she snapped to reality, looking at the dorm. The dorm gave off a comfy feeling.

The small brunette instantly sat by the window. The view was perfect. The sun was in view, and it shone right through the glass, painting a shadowy scene on the floor. It was amazing. And, then her childlike instinct took over. She raised one of her small hands and began to do small signs with it. Like little bunny rabbits, or a butterfly, or a wolf. Just basic things like that. That was when Rayna spoke again, frightening the child a bit.

"M-My name's M-Makie... Makie Saiyuri... Nice to m-meet you." Her fragile voice replied. "Y-You're Rayna... R-Right...? D-Did you d-draw the p-pretty sign on the d-door...? D-Do you draw o-other things t-too?" She asked, in a shaky voice, unsure if she should be asking these things.

Sincerely Sunshine

Rayna turned off the faucet to the sink, squeezing the washcloth so that it didn't drip. She really didn't know how to treat a rug burn, so she was just winging it. She wondered if it needed to be bandaged or something like that. Her ears twitched a few more times as she heard the girl named Makie speak. She shook the extra water off of her hands, walking out with the damp washcloth. "Nice to meet you Makie." she said. She then widened her eyes a bit, looking at the few drawings on her walls and the one she had been working on on her bed. 'I forgot to take them down.' she thought, biting her lip. "Err, yes, I did." she said nervously, scratching the back of her head. "They're not great, but I do draw a lot, actually..." she added, looking at them.

Rayna really was a modest girl- the drawings to any other person were beautiful. Most of them were mainly portraits- a lot of them of people at Ria itself. A few pictures, if Makie would notice, were of the same guy. Though the portraits of the guy, who looked roughly about fifteen or sixteen, were black and white, the hair she drew was messy and a light color, and boy's eyes were also light, with a small twinkle in them. The details of the portraits of the guy were amazing. She even drew a small freckle near one of the ears. In a couple of the pictures, she drew him grinning a cute, lop-sided grin, and in others he looked solemn. It seemed that Rayna knew the person to know all those details of his face.

Rayna quickly picked up her recent sketch- also of the same guy. He was laying on his crossed arms, looking unfazed, at the least. One would even think of him looking bored. His eyes were half open and half of his face was covered. She looked down at it for a moment, and then flipped the cover over the sketchpad, turning a light pink. "I....draw portraits." she answered shyly, looking down a bit.

Makie could hear the nervousness in Rayna's voice, but Makie didn't know why. The drawings were amazing! The ones on the wall that is. She did notice they were of the same guy, and Rayna must have loved, or known this guy really well... The detail in each of them was surprisingly amazing, every detail you could almost miss or overlook was there. It was so amzing, it was insane how any one could darw like that. What surprised Makie was what Rayna thought of them. Not great...? They're amazing! They're indescribable! There's so much detail and passion in each drawing! Makie thought to herself, letting her mind wander to Oliver. If I could draw self portraits like that, I could draw one for Oliver...

"Rayna... T-T-These drawings are a-amazing! T-There's so much d-detail and passion! Y-You're an a-amazing a-artist! I-I'd g-give you money t-to draw! I-If I had a-any..." Makei said, rubbing the back of her small head. Makie would probably ask if she would do a sketch of her and Oliver... Or her and Ai! Since Ai was practically her sister, along with Misty. So, maybe one day Rayna could draw a picture for her... If she wanted to.

"Wow... P-Portraits? T-That's soo c-cool! T-They're r-really hard to d-draw!" Makie exclaimed softly. Makie had no drawing talent, but that didn't matter. It mattered that Rayna was an exceptionally good artist and she wasn't really aware of it! When you don't give yourself enough credit, or if you don't think your drawings are good, then you get sad and nervous and that traps you spirit, not allowing it to be set free. And then you can't do your best, which is bad.

"Y-You shouldn't be a-afraid... T-They're a-all s-soo good!" Makie said, smiling. "Y-You should be a p-professional..!"

Rayna walked over and plopped on her bed, shaking her head. She never really thought of herself as a great artist. She had just been drawing for years. She had always critisized her artwork herself to make her better at it. It was sort of a habit at whatever she did now. She tried pushing herself to be better that way, and with her artwork, it had worked. She just didn't see it. "No...I couldn't possibly be professional." she said, shaking her head again. "I'm still not that great....the anatomy...it's really not that nice, if you look at it closely..." she said, opening to the drawing she was recently sketching, of the guy. She ran a hand along it, gazing at it with soft eyes. "This is Charlie." she told her, smiling a bit.

Her head snapped over to Makie as she beamed, waving her hand. "I wouldn't accept your money. I'd do it for free!" she said, smiling. Rayna couldn't even think of taking someone else's money for her artwork. She hugged her drawing, smiling. "I don't draw for money....I draw because I love it. It's how I express myself, I guess...." she said, looking down, a hint of a soft smile on her face still. "Though....no one knows about my drawings. Not even one of my closest friends Kylie and....well, Charlie doesn't know, either." she said, looking up to the ceiling, sighing. "Portraits....they are hard. What I used to do is take a photo of someone, and then copy it, but not trace it. After a while of doing that, I just....drew them without the picture." she said, looking up at the drawings. The redhead looked back down to the sketchpad. "It's funny- I don't even think my 'foster mother' knows..." she said quietly, shaking her head once more. She reached for her ponytail and took the rubber band out, letting her long, ruby red hair loose. She shook it a little, making it look a little nicer.

"O-Of course y-you c-can be a p-professional! Y-you're s-so amazing!" Makie exclaimed, her chocolate eyes wide. If this were an anime, Makie would have starry eyes right now. She was so interested in the drawings. They were so pretty and so detailed! It probably took hours to do. Portraits might take even more time... It probably took like... 5 hours! Wow! That would be insane! Or maybe Makie was over-exagerating a bit. It obviously took long, but it most likely didn't take 5 hours... Some one as good as Rayna would probably do it in an hour or less. That was probably resonable. Maybe an hour and a half?

When Rayna responded saying she'd do it for free, Makie was bewildered. Such a good artist would do a portrait for free!? Rayna must have lost her brain or something! Her art was worth... I dunno... 30$ or more! Sooo good!!!!! She was definately on her way to becoming a big time professional! It's true! Though when Rayna admitted no one knew about her drawings, Makie was so surprised. How could no one know about this amazing artist!? She must be insane! Such an amazing artist is unknown to the world.. Shocking...

Hearing the explination on how Rayna drew the portraits was even more shocking. The most Makie can do was cut a picture in half and draw the other side of it, and the teeth, nose, and eyes look terrible. The body proportions aren't better either. In other words... Makie couldn't draw. The only thing she was good at was coloring. Not shading, just random coloring... So maybe she wasn't good at coloring either... She was good at outlining and going over stuff though! That would be her contribution for a piece of artwork. If some drew something, she would outline it and some one else could color it. So, maybe that wasn't a good skill, but hey, at least she could do something.

The foster mother completely caught Makie off guard. Having a foster mother meant... Wouldn't you have to be taken away from your own family, or you'd have to be an orphan and placed in the care of another. Wow... That's... Emotional... Just thinking about it made the brunette's chocolate eyes start to twinkle and sparkle with the watery tears that began to form in her eyes. But she wiped her eyes quickly, hoping Rayna wouldn't notice. "Y-You're a-amazing Rayna! W-Why w-would you h-hide your t-talent?" Makie asked in a soft and fragile voice, with a small childish smile on her face.

Rayna shook her head, her face light pink from the compliments. "I don't know....and the reason why....?" she asked, looking up to the ceiling. It was a good question- why didn't she tell people about her art? She knew that there was a reason she decided on long ago, but she seemed to have forgotten it now. The half-fox girl sat there for a little while, pondering over the question. After a short pause, her eyes clouded over, and she had a small hint of sadness in her expression. She smiled sadly, looking down her lap. "I think....maybe...." she started.

But then, she was suddenly interrupted by a soft knocking on the door. Her head snapped up, her eyes a bit wide. She quickly stood up, walking rather quickly to the door. She leaned against it. "Who is it?" she asked politely, glancing over at Makie and shrugging her shoulders. "Three guesses." a male voice said on the other side of the door. Rayna's eyes widened. "Charlie?!" she called. SHe then looked over at Makie once more. "Are boys even allowed in this part of the dorm building?!" she whispered. "Err, Rayna?" the voice called again. Rayna looked back to the door, looking a bit frantic. "H-hold on a minute!" she called, running over to her bed and jumping on it, landing on her feet. She carefully, but swiftly, started taking down her drawings, putting them in a pile on her bed. When she went to jump down, she staggered when she landed. "Whoa!" she cried.

On the other side of the dorm, Charlie stood there with his hands in his pockets, listening to what was going on. He knocked softly once more. "Err, Rayna?" he called, sounding a bit curious. "E-Ehm, just a minute!" was her reply. Charlie furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what was going on in the dorm. Inside, Rayna took the stack of drawings and went to her closet, putting them on a high shelf. She came back out and sighed, smiling to herself. She glanced at Makie, then went to the door, unlocking it and opening it.

When Charlie walked in, her first looked at Rayna, smiling. His eyes then went to Makie, a puzzled expression on his face. "Hey, Rayna, who's this?" he asked, smiling and nodding at her. Rayna smiled, closing the door and standing between them. "Charlie, this is my new friend, Makie. Makie, this is Charlie." she said, introducing them to each other. Charlie smiled at her, nodding his head in greeting. "Nice to meet you." he said. Charlie had a slim build, but did have a bit of muscle in his arms. He was taller- about a head taller than Rayna, with light brown hair and hazel-green eyes, with small specks of gold in them, if you looked close enough. It was funny- he looked a lot like the guy in the drawings. Rayna had even mentioned his name twice.

PostPosted: Mon Jun 19, 2006 4:57 pm
When Rayna was about to tell Makie about why she didn't tell any one about her drawings, there was a knock at the door. The brunette just sat, tilting her smal brown head to the side. She looked like a little doll, sitting up and tilting her head to the side. She wondered who it was at the door. Ah! Maybe the brunette should go now, since it mightbe one of Rayna's friends. Oh no... This was bad! She couldn't hide in the closet, could she? No.. No... There was no where else to hide except under the bed! But it might be dirty under the bed. Wow... What a bad sticky situation to be in. Makie sat, immobilized in place, her head still tilted to the side slightly, her semi long silky brown hair follwed her head and draped over the side of her body as well.

When a male's voice could be heard, Makie placed a finger on her lower lip. Was it the guy in the drawings...? Or was it another guy...? OHMYGOD!! It might be Rayna's boyfriend! Maybe the brunette should go, but she couldn't move. She couldn't just leave now, could she? Oh dear... This is soo confusing! What should I do...? Makie thought to herself before Rayna spoke about guys being in this part of the dorms. Makie paused for a second. Before remembering Oliver. When Makie hurt herself on the rooftop, Oliver carried her through all of the Girl's dorms down to Ai's room... And the small brunette remembered Oliver telling her how he was allowed in the girl's dorms... So maybe it was the same for this guy.

"Y-Yeah.. T-hey're allowed i-in t-the girl's part..." Makie said softly, before Rayna started throwing a fit. She was taking all the pictures of the boy down and stuffing them in the closet. And so, the small brunette sat like a doll, watching everything pass before her chocolate eyes. She was speechless... Did Rayna do this every time some one knocked at the door? Or was it just for this guy at the door? And finally, Rayna relazing, smiling to herself... That left Makie in an even more bewildered state. She wasn't even sure how to react even more. Finally, the red head opened the door, and in came a boy. Makie blushed a light pink instantly. This happened every time she saw a boy actually... So this isn't new for her.

When she heard her name being called, Makie looked up with her milk chocolate eyes... Only to find this boy, Charlie, staring at her. She blushed a deeper shade of red and stared down at her feet. "H-Hello..." Makie said taking a breath, and closing her eyes. Looking back up, she smiled softly. "T-The pleasure i-is yours, Charlie..." She waved slowly at the same time, getting up and slowly walking over to the two. Her eyes were closed at that moment, so she could actually speak and not look down at her feet like a small insignificant person... She was often over looked because she was small and didn't speak very loudly, and in front of guys she was a mess, but... When makie closed her eyes, there was no one watching her, so she didn't have to be worried any more.

When Makie finally opened her eyes, she was right in front of both Charlie and Rayna. She blushed some more, and held her breath. He looked so much like the guy in all of those pictures. She wondered if Rayna drew those pictures of him... Maybe she liked him. "S-So.. H-How do you know R-Rayna, Charlie?" She asked out of curiosity. Was he Rayna's boyfriend? That would explain all the drawings of him... And that would explain why she was trying to frantically put all the drawings of him away before he came in... Awwwe! Cute! Makie wished she had a boy friend...

Rayna bit her lip at Makie's question, turning a bit pink. She didn't say anything, but looked away. But Charlie just smiled, taking her hand. "We met when she was travelling and now we're together." he said bluntly. If this was an anime, Rayna would've done an anime drop right about now. She turned a bright pink. How could he be so blunt? She glanced over at Makie, a bit embarrassed. "Y-Yeah...." she said nervously, scratching the back of her head. Charlie chuckled, looking around her room. "So, this is your dorm?" he asked, earning a nod from Rayna. "It's cute." he commented, making her turn even more pink.

"What were you doing while I was waiting outside?" he asked suddenly, quirking an eyebrow. Rayna widened her eyes. "U-uhm....I was, err..." she stuttered, scrambling for some words. Any words. Charlie raised both eyebrows. "You were....?" he asked.

"I WAS PUTTING ON A SOCK!" she blurted out randomly, looking down. She then widened her eyes at her statement. 'Putting on a SOCK? Okay, that's brilliant.' she thought to herself. Charlie gave her a weird looked, glancing down at her feet. "But you're not wearing socks." he said. Rayna stopped breathing for a minute and looked down. Sure enough, there were her bare feet standing there. No socks. Rayna looked up and laughed even more nervously. "Well, funny story...see, I was putting on a sock, and then I couldn't find the other one. And then I just took it off and...threw it out the window." she said, hardly believing what was coming out of her mouth.

Charlie raised her eyebrows again, smirking. "Uh huh." he said, not sounding too comvinced. But he didn't press the subject. He looked down to Makie and smiled, croushing down to her. "Hey. So your name's Makie, right?" he asked. "How old are you?" he asked her. Rayna backed up a little. "I'm going to find, er, a new pair of socks." she said, laughing nervously. "Since, um, I lost a pair and I need to um....go get another." she added, disappearing into her walk-in closet. She leaned against a shelf, putting a hand to her hard and partially breathing heavily. 'Close one.' she thought, going through her private drawer and grabbing a pair of white ankle-socks and walking back out, sitting on her bed and slipping them on as Charlie waited for an answer.
