My 10 Year old sister wrote a poem!

Dude, I found this in my little ten year old sisters room.


Life is sufficating me to my last breathe
So I'll breathe it full of regrets and lies
And still I don't think I'll bother to say bye
Still The knife cuts deep and the blood runs slow
I just want to cut down deeper so deep it goes into my bone

I wanna bleed so much blood that I die
So much that everyone will be fastening their ties
Just for my funeral
I was having the best dream
I was dieing but then were was a light beam
Then it ended and I was depressed
Because that would be my dream at its best

Hold my neck till my face turns blue
Hold it intill you know its true
Push me onto my deathbed and hold me down
I want to finally get the crown
I wanna get the crown of death





Anyway, So I'm talking to her about not writing stuff like that because liek I said she's only ten.

maybe she's just trying to take that out and she figured out she can write really well....

hun, i'm gunna tell you right now, you just totally talk to her to see whats up cause that poem...a ten year old wrote that?! shes a great writer, but the thing is not exactly what a ten year old would write and should be writing! you really need to talk to her!

Are you sure she didn't just copy it down from somewhere?
How does a 10 year old know about that sort of stuff?

I think I'm just setting a bad example for her. She never gets on the computer at all she's always in her room. Our family went through a few changes so I can understand what the meaning of such poems would be but... For a ten-year old I'm pretty ashamed of myself. She's taking after me.. I wrote poems just like that when I was ten but nto as good.

whatever you do, DONT THREATEN HER.
In fact, don't even talk about the poem.
just talk about issues she has.
be nice and loving and supportive.
don't ask questions she doesn't want to answer.
don't make her do anything she doesn't want to do.
and don't threaten her, no matter what.

Thats a good poem.
But then again maybe someone is influencing her to much.
She is only ten so Id keep a close eye on her.
She might be learning way to much.
Kids see everything and they look up to everyones examples.
Be careful what you do around her.

definatly find out whats going on. shes only ten, for gods sake!!! oh, sry. redface i was sorta like that when i was ten, but i didn't cut or anything then. (just emo! lol jk)im guessing shes just doing what she sees other people doing. be careful around her. just really try to find out whats going on before it gets too out of hand. btw, she can write like a mother!!!! xd
