You speak English...but do you think in Chinese?

Okay, you're at school. Someone says something to you. And you think about what they said...do you think in Chinese, or English? You're speaking in English to this person, by the way.

Or, maybe you're just talking to someone who speaks English. Do you think in Chinese? Or English?

Well, for me, it's kinda half in half.

Like, doing a math problem.

I'd say the numbers and some words in English, and the rest in Cantonese. x3

I voted other.. what I mean is.. I think in English, mainly, but when I'm in maths or in China I think in Chinese, and occasionally I think in French as well.. only when I'm a bit high, though xD

for me it depends on that person. like if i were to talk to someone who isn't chinese then i'll think in english and when i talk to someone that is chinese then i think in cantonese. also sometimes when i can't quite get the word i want in english then i think it in chinese. and if i can't think of the word in chinese then i think of it in english. it's amazing how the brain works....

Yeah.. I'm constantly speaking Chinglish.. like sticking English endings onto Chinese words etc..

i voted others actually i dun really speak in english (only writing) , what i use is spanish sweatdrop evil but i mainly think in chinese , althought it all depeneds on where im with and whom im with

I think almost entirely in English-even when I go into internal monologue mode (which I do quite often) I conduct them using English words. And even when I speak in Chinese I often have to resort to Chinglish as Niph calls it, as there are many English words I don't know the translation of in Chinese.
