ooohhh..Thats isnt unordinary.its common amongsts music-scene people who thinks dressing up your favorite band makes you sucks and call you something as an insult.
And man,I can really relate to that crap.I really love "The Used" so when I once got to see a shirt printed with the band,I bought it.I wore it one school day.And oh s**t,they just start to spit bullshit like,"Oh look, one emo kid cutie lost her way around.Too bad."

If your friends are classifying you into groups then they don't seem like very good friends. Friends are supposed to be people that are there for you, and know you. If you wear a different shirt and all of a sudden your a different person then its obvious that they didn't really know you, and in my opinion, aren't very good friends. Meet some new people you can like you for being yourself.

By the way, the last person who did call me emo, really did get a beat down, but mainly because they insulted my family first.
