I know how you feel... I could get a subscription through a comic store here, but it would be so expensive i can't afford it. crying I'll have to wait until the books comes out. Does anyone know when that will be?

Book 1-5 were the original Count Cain.
Hiatus for Angel Sanctuary, then CC was resumed with the final arc, God Child which is the longest arc, with 8 books.

Yeah, I remember when I looked at volumn 6, massive change. I was like eek but Cain never looked hotter.

I bought Shoujo Beat a few days ago. Cost for the pilot issue is $5.95 + tax. I don't subscribe to things because I always manage just to buy them when I see them. ^^; The bookstore is my very close friend.

Meh, it's not too bad considering it's from VIZ. The translations seemed to be okay, but then I haven't read the actual manga in a long time. I think they are anticipating CC to be a big hit and went all out with it. If you look at the print quality throughout the shojo beat first issue, they did a better job printing Count Cain (God Child as they decided to title it) than the other manga snipits in the magazine; though, Yuki's art makes the manga stand out from the others.
