HERE IT IS, CHAPTER ONE STRAIGHT FROM MY WORD DOCUMENT!:


“Help me!”
Where was that voice coming from?
“Help me! Help me!”
The same voice! As Lee continued to walk through the dark hallways, he felt like he was getting closer to the cries.
“Help me!” The voiced yelled again. Lee turned a corner where the person yelling for help should’ve been. A shriek was all he heard until a blinding light covered the darkness and Lee guarded himself for anything that might be there. Covering his eyes from the bright lights, the shriek came again, and he slowly opened his eyes.

Chapter 1- Wondering
His eyes opened and he looked around him. It was his room. Everything the same, nothing missing, nothing new, and he was not hurt. He could no longer hear that voice and his heart was beating slightly faster than normal. He sat up straight and looked out the large window to his left and he heard the birds outside.
“Just a dream…” Lee sighed, climbing out of his bed and walking to the bathroom. Every step of the way, he tried to see if the screams were like any of the girls he knew.

Sakura? “No, not her. Her voice is light and that shriek doesn’t like it would be her.” He opened the door, thinking about Sakura, and what if it was her? He grabbed a towel and walk to the shower to turn the faucet. He sat on the ground for a minute or two.

Ino? “No way, she wouldn’t scream like that anyways. Her cries would have been more like Sakura’s…and that voice sounded like it was in pain…” He took a long pause, and then got up to get ready for practice, if Gai was up for it.

“Gai Sensei hasn’t been feeling well lately.” Lee said softly. “I hope he feels better today, I’m looking forward to some training.”
He slowly removed his clothing, still wondering. Wondering about the voice. The voice that was in his dream and the voice that seemed to have a big impact on him… He folded his clothing and put them asides, as he put first his left foot in the shower to make sure it wasn’t too hot.
He climbed into the shower, and still wondered about the dream. It was like a bee that wouldn’t leave him alone, buzzing, blocking his vision, making it hard to think about anything else. The voice was so mysterious, and he couldn’t help but think about it. What if it was some other girl?

Tenten? “I don’t think it was her, I know Tenten too well, and that’s not how she sounds, even if she were screaming for help.”
Hinata? “Nope, she is too quiet and shy to yell as loud as that, or shriek like that either.”

Unconsciously, Lee washed himself, trying to connect the voice with anyone’s he’s ever heard, even some boys. No one matched. He turned down the faucet and walked out of the shower. He seemed to be totally out of it. He grabbed the towel and wrapped himself, and walked to his room to get changed.

seems like an opp for an OC, huh? XD

Chapter 2- Surprises

He walked down the streets of Konoha, looking around to see if anyone around sounding like that voice. He just couldn’t stop thinking about it. How could he concentrate? He almost got lost in Konoha because it, so how could he train with that in his head. At that point, part of him wished there wasn’t going to be practice.

Be careful what you wish for, you might get it. Lee walked up to Neji and Tenten, who were leaving the training grounds.
“Good morning to both of you!” Lee said with a smile.
“Morning Lee. Gai left us a note, no practice today.” Tenten said.
“Oh, alright…” replied Lee. He had a sad look on his face. That could’ve been the only thing that could’ve kept my mind straight for the day.

“I was looking forward for practice too, Lee. I’m sorry. Why don’t we all go out for ramen today?” Tenten said, trying to cheer Lee up.
“No thanks, you and Lee can go, I got things to do.” Neji sighed as he walked off in a different direction.
“Well, alright.” Lee replied, accepting the kind invitation. As Lee and Tenten walked to the ramen store, Tenten could tell something was troubling him.

“What’s wrong Lee? You seem very worried about something.” Tenten said, looking quite worried herself.
“Oh, it’s nothing, Tenten! Nothing to worry about!” Lied Lee. Of course something was wrong! He was worried that the dream meant something…something bad…

“I can tell when you’re lying. It’s very easy to tell. Now what’s the matter?” She said, making it seem like he was in trouble, or something.
“I’ll tell you when we get there, Tenten.” Lee sighed, just staring at the ground in front of him. They seemed to be walking slower now, and the ramen shop was just ahead.

short chapters are nice, but oh so suspensful.

Chapter 4- Welcome to Konoha

As they walked up to the gate together, Naruto, Tenten, and Lee made it just in time.

“Hey you guys!” welcomed Sakura, waving cheerfully at Lee and Tenten. Lee started to blush a little bit. He was so lucky to have Sakura happy to see him. Neji turned away with a guilty expression, when Tenten turned and asked, “And you didn’t tell us WHY?”

“Well, I didn’t think you or Lee would want to go…seeing as you both were injured by these guys before. Remember the Chuunin Exams?”
“Wait, so Gaara is coming? And Temari??” asked Tenten with an unpleasant voice, “Why are THEY coming?”

“The Fifth asked them to stay for this festival we’re going to have. Our annual Fall Festival.” explained Shikamaru, who had been rather quiet when they were waiting.
“Hey, I think I see someone!” yelled Sakura, pointing out into the forest. It was them alright; Lee could tell it was Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro…but who were the other two? As the five Sand Ninjas walked up towards the gate, Gaara’s first words were, “Thank you for the invitation.”

hmmm... Neiji seems a little OOC, huh? XD

Aww, this is the last one I have already typed up! Now I gotta type more.

Chapter 5- New Friends

Lee was just standing there in awe, wondering if Gaara actually befriended him before.

“Welcome to Konoha,” said Sakura, “We are glad you could make it.” Kankuro and Temari just gave out kind smiles, and so did the mysteriously hooded other 2 ninjas.

“I guess I should introduce you all to our guests,” said Temari, looking towards the other 2 ninja. “They are some of the best ninja in Suna, besides us.” She joked, acting like a star. “The girl over there is Takana. She is the most skilled Taijutsu user in our village. And over there is Yosuko, and he is the most skilled Genjutsu user.” They both took off their hoods, and everyone just looked in awe. Takana had black hair, cut short, and was up to her chin, she had her headband around her neck, and she wore a black chain body suit, with a white skirt and white sleeves over it. Yosuko had the same suit, with white pants and a white vest. His hair was light brown and put back in a pony tail.

“Thank you for the gracious invitation.” said Takana, and she bowed to them all.
“Yes, thank you.” Yosuko repeated and he bowed as well. Everyone started to get into little conversations, except Gaara of course. They all got to know each other better and Temari apologized many many times, shocking Tenten. Lee, although, did not talk, he had paused after the two ninja had said thank you.

That voice…it sounded almost like…like a bird? Her voice was so pure. Like a beautiful song bird in spring, and he couldn’t get it out of his mind. He just stared out into the sky, thinking about her, and then…

“Hello?” A shock came over Lee, as he looked to his right to see her standing there, looking worried. “Are you ok? You’re just standing out here, I was…sort of worried. Are you were getting lonely?”

Again that voice made his heart beat fast, and he said, “Well, I think it’s just such a beautiful day, I didn’t want to waste it.”
She giggled and said, “Yeah, it is very beautiful. We all must savor youthful days such as these.” He quickly turned to Takana, who was staring up into the sky. Youthful? She started to sound like Gai-Sensei…Could she have…no…there’s no way…she’s never been to Konoha…Has she?
