An unusual multi-dimensional city square that randomly alters its shape and location in the city.
Contained within are a mess of mindless monsters and the ever occasional resupplying treasure chest.

It's easy enough to leave if you turn back immediately, but venturing too far within means that finding an exit would become increasingly difficult...

the collection of people and belongings apeared deep within the strange city square with cobble stones and shops in various disaray
(think a circular headache painting mixed with a rubix cube)

and laughter could be heard........

He scanned
the area, knowing one shot from an AEA would bring down any mere mortal.  

[Angelic King Raziel]

He landed quietly, his agility and balance quite apparent. The dwarf, however, landed with a dull thud. Raziel couldn't help but laugh a bit as the dwarf pulled himself up and dusted himself off, scowling at the young man.

"I dun told ya dwarves aren't meant ta ********' fly, ya idiot. But no, ye had to yank me dwarven arse through some portal that drops us, quite rudely I might add, in a place that looks like it's only a toilet's flush away from bein' a shithole."

The dwarf was obviously fine and looking forward to whatever adventure awaited them. He smiled inwardly, glad to have his old friend by his side again. He looked around quietly, scanning the surrounding area for anything suspicious at the moment as the dwarf rambled on incoherently to himself in the background, which was his way of doing the same. He noticed Justice was pulled here as well.

Perhaps there was a reason only they were brought here.

The laughter only increased his suspicions.

watching them from a diffrent plane of this reality Nexus laughed
"the flys are caught now i can play."
the place suddenly came alive as monsters began apearing around the two and
the very ground began to open  

[Angelic King Raziel]

Raziel managed to keep his balance as the ground ripped open beneath them, not a bad thing except for the fact that they were now surrounded by creatures that looked like they didn't exactly drop by for a chat. He summoned his twin blades, making sure to secure his footing on a solid piece of ground as he prepared himself for the inevitable fight.

"Nemo, are you alright?"

The dwarf, who wasn't as finely balanced as Raziel, had fallen on his backside when the ground began to split, but he was lucky enough to have fallen on the same side as Raziel. The dwarf jumped to his feet, cursing as always as he drew his axe at his own pace, as if the threat of the monsters surrounding them was not that big of a deal. He gripped the axe handle with both hands, staring down the creatures with typical dwarven defiance.

"I'm just fine, lad. It'll take more than that to catch ol' Nemo Goldenaxe off his guard, that's fer sure."

Raziel nodded, satisfied with the answer.

"How about you, Justice? Are you alright?"

a pair of winged monsters made from stone fell from above landing on razriel intending to gouge his flesh

nexus laughed in relative safty watching the exploits of the doomed trio

The monster had caught him off guard, and now had him pinned on the ground. He managed to dodge the beak of the creature, but was unable to counterattack because of his position.

Almost as suddenly, the creature was gone. He jumped to his feet, just in time to parry the attacks of the second bird. Behind, he could hear the loud chinking sound of heavy metal against stone and the cursing of a dwarf. Apparently the dwarf had seen his trouble and charged the bird, blowing it off him in time.

He parried another attack from the bird, knocking it's head aside with one blade as the other whistled down, cleaving through it's exposed neck easily. The stone crumpled as he relaxed for a moment. The dwarf sauntered up to him a moment later, his axe resting on his shoulder and a satisfied grin on his face.

"Having fun yet, lad?"

the ground burst open as a large creature with an endless row of teeth apeared and tried to swallow them whole  

[Angelic King Raziel]

The two warriors jumped apart just as the creature brushed past them. The dwarf slammed his hand into the ground, clenching the earth around the creature to prevent it from escaping back into the ground. He then went to work hacking at it with his axe while Raziel brought his flaming blades to bare, hacking away at the creature as it squirmed and writhed under their merciless attacks.

"you shall all DIE jarians!"
sand flowed out of the cuts that seemed to drag one under it and drown them

They struggled valiantly, but the sand was difficult to shake and it constricted tighter upon them. They continued to fight against the sand, even when it totally immobalized them.

"This can't be how it ends!"

The dwarf was now encased in sand, still struggling against his contraints. The sand began creeping over Raziel's face, threatening to cut off his breathing and kill him.

"This will not be how it ends!"

Raziel's body shone with brilliant white light as it covered his body, and his mind went blank.

When he awoke, the dwarf stood over him, bits of dirt and sand hanging in his beard and outfit. The dwarf extended his hand, which Raziel gladly took.

"Lad, you'll have ta tell me how ya did that someday."

As he got to his feet, he looked around for signs of the creature, but none could be found. All that was left were piles of sand strewn across the ground.

He was confused. What had he done?

And who was the image of the man they had seen?

nexus fell backwards from the reaction
"how can that clan led by that evil witch have such powerful followers?
no matter...now that i know what he is disposing of him will be a far simpler matter..."

a door apeared in the strange space before razriel that seemed to go further into the warped space

The door appeared quietly, catching them both a bit off guard. When nothing emerged, they both nodded to each other and made their way towards it, unsure of it's content's but determined to meet them head-on.

Together.

it led them into a large space with platforms about above a bottomless abyss.
the sound of roaring water seemed defening
