So I'm getting mine done tomorrow at 1.30 (OMG yay! After 2 1/2 years of trying to convince my mum. 2 1/2 FREAKIN' YEARS!) and I made an appointment and said it was for a vertical labret. The piercer asked if I meant vertical lip, and then explained that the difference was the labret is usually lower down (1cm or so) below the lip, and it's actually a vertical lip that I meant. However, I've seen people (everyone, basically) refer to the piercing that I clearly explained as a vertical labret.
I'm confused? Is it just a weird-a** Australian thing again? Or what?
