Both are super popular; I'm just curious as to which is more (at least in this guild).
I personally will forever be an obsessed Zelda fan, although Final Fantasy is still awesome.

Hehe, I have been playing Final Fantacy since 7. Ever since it came out.....and Cloud was introduced, I have been a fanatic. Cloud PWNDZ YOU! Heh, Zelda is still nice though. Very fun. But FF over Zelda....sowwy!

Zelda is awesome. I like that they cycle through the bad guys, reintroducing characters, and jumping to random spots in the storyline. The first game didn't come out until Link to the Past for GBA (storyline wise)
I like FF, but Zelda has an instant action battle sequence, and there's no turnbased stuff, so the enemy has no chance of a attack if you don't give it to them. However, FF is nice because there is no storyline that continues through different games, so if you play the most recent game, there won't be confusing cross-references to other games.
Zelda wins in my book.

FF is great.. loved it since i started with ff3... played the hell out of ff7-9 and never got the chance to play 10-11 cos instead of getting a ps2 i went with x bawks... but zelda was good, just i prefer the level system over fps rpg..
