Scammers. One of the most annoying people on Gaia. I was scammed out of the first collectibles I ever got, back when I just started playing gaia. It was the one where the person gets a cheap item from the shops and puts them up for a high price on the marketplace so it looks like an expensive item. Because of that I lost 2 gift of the goddesses.
Have you ever been scammed out of an item or gold?
If yes, what was the scam?

I got scammed out of some skirts.
Not a big deal,but MAN I feel like an idiot.

Some chick tried to scam me outta' gold and I was just ignored her the whole time until she got tired of being bothersome. XD

lol, ive never been scammed yet. No ones ever tried to, but since im starting to deal with monthly collectible items in the market place, I have expectations for those stupid messages with the whole username and password deal....

Nolette hmm.. nope. I'm wonder how people target others for scamming though. Does it have to do with the value of their avi? Probably not. I was just a newb and had nothing valuable on my avatar. I just got a message and thought it was real.

One man wanted to trade me a Nightmare Scarf for all my items. I was like....NO WAY! Then, I asked him to see it. He said that it was in a giftbox, and that I would have to trust him. I knew it was a scam right when he said that, and told him that if he didnt leave, I would report him right then and there..........He left. rofl

I participated in a lotto and spent 7k, which I first purchased 5k worth and never completed the trade just incase, but then she started bitching at me to accept the trade so I did, then I desided to buy 2k more tickets. Then a day later she comes in whining about how she got hacked. >.> She still had a whip of fire in her shop too. Could've just given me that, since I had bought the most tickets. At the time it was only at about 9k anyway. Ever since then I have never participated in a lotto.
