The vocalist style of screaming is like crying, squealing. The song is about after a proposal and accepting, No for an answer.

Well I hardly call Duality and Vermillion radio friendly, in fact I'd call them an assault on the ears... in a bad way. Though I am fond of Before I Forget it has a nice upbeat message.
