I just got an email:

Quote:
Dear incoming Cal student,

Christians on Campus, an approved student organization by the
Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC) at Berkeley,
would like to extend to you a warm welcome to the University of
California, Berkeley!

We are a group of students who love the Lord Jesus, want to know Him
and His word more, and desire to share what we have enjoyed with
others. So, whether you are just interested in learning more about God
or the Bible, or whether you are a Christian looking to study the Bible
or fellowship with other believers on the UC Berkeley campus, we invite
you to learn more about our club and contact us by clicking on the link
below:

http://christiansoncampus.berkeley.edu/welcome

We look forward to meeting you soon,

The students of Christians on Campus

I hope to science they didn't email that to everyone.

Find out how they got your email.

If the university passed it along, check if they do this for all clubs and organisations.
If not, they're giving special favours to one, which means someone might be breaking the rules.

That's creepy. You should block them.

hahah NICE!

It almost sounds like they aren't brainwashed! By the by... would you go and meet them? After all, they're "looking forward to meeting you soon."

Soy un hombre muy honrado,
que me gusta lo mejor
I was thinking about showing up and saying I represent the atheists, kind of like an oversight thing lol

Hopefully you're not the only one. However... now that i think about it... it's probably just a waste of time... and unlike going on a christian forum on the intranets... people could get more... shall we say... "physical"... if you know what i mean. But if you don't know what i mean, i was talking about yelling and persecution kind of physical... not beating of people with fists... but that's one a possibility too. mrgreen

I have a feeling that the e-mail was sent by two drunk christians who kept laughing and saying "This is awesome. Turkeypants is such a douche."

I'd go there and scream "HAIL LORD CTHULHU FOR HE IS THE GREAT ANGEL CRUSHER!" because nothing bad would come out of pretending to be a part of an almost satanic cult during a christian meeting.

I agree with Chutulu man. But go looking like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/ee/Sikent3.jpg/250px-Sikent3.jpg

Smile like that, as well. And video tape the results.

They probably sent that out as a bulk e-mail. I'd just junk it.

I'd reply with, "No thanks. I'm an atheist."

You know an organization's getting desperate when they resort to spam mail.
