darren runs through the forest heading for his castle. he changes into a bird and flys to it. he lands on his balkony and turns back and to face the other way and says "today is a new age. the age of the shifters and we shall take control over all" turns and goes to his room and shuts the door

She had been flying over the village. The one she was supposed to perform for that night. Linka gazed at the inhabitants and sighed gently. They looked so happy to be there. So blissful.
Linka was about to descend when she heard some one shout from the castle. She hadn't seen that fellow before, perhaps he was the ominous ruler that her kind mentioned so often. The one that takes many forms.
Whichever the case, she hoped he would come to the performance. If she performed right, then having some one as high ranking as him comment how wonderful she was would surely get her more popular with the land.
"Though what is this about shape shifters...?" she whispered to herself.

Linka landed at the performance stage and stretched her wings wide, and her back arched, and her arms went into the air slowly as she felt every joint in her upper torso crack and loosen up. She smiled faintly and scanned the area. Everything was prepared. Well, almost.
"Hmm... vines up here... black roses there... black tulips..." she pointed to specific areas and plants appeared. She wasn't just any singing fairy, she was a gardener as well. She learned her magic from a nymph, though she added her own special twist to it.
"Perfect." she said contentedly. Linka stepped off stage and awaited the crowd to arrive.

Riane sat on the beach, appearantly alone. She kept herself quiet, waiting for something to happen. She could feel the waves kissing her feet, her dagger felt heavy in her pocket. She sat in silence, listening to the calming sounds of the waves. She felt great, at peace, better than ever.
