No. The original is a classic, but it could've used some improvements. Not only that, but REmake was actually pulled off really well.

Well, RE3 starts out the day BEFORE RE2, and that's a fact. Close or not.

Only if you KNEW that Dead Aim happens after Code Veronica, because then you'd think that Alexia is somehow alive again, which would be ridiculous.

No, the storyline was cool. Morpheus girly transformation kills the game, for me. But if it wasn't for him, it'd be my favorite side story.

Maybe. I think that romantic scenes have no place in horror genres, UNLESS one of the people involved dies at the end. So since it was the ending and both survived, it kinda didn't belong.
