I HATED the movie, i read the book, the book was so so i guess, then again i love reading n i'll reading almost anything, her writing is still very amateur in my opinion. I think glittery vampires are funny. lol. I much rather like some good old fashion vampires who burn in the daylight XP If i want to read about vampires i'll get some Anne Rice n Bram Stoker
P.S: i agree, there are very n i mean VERY few teen romance novels with original plotlines

I'm sorry, but I thought the acting was horrible. Really did not like the movie, although I loved the whole series!

Anyone else think kristen stewart looks better in the photo shoots than in the movies? Anyways, I'm disappointed at how crappy some of the effects look. Still sexy movies/books biggrin

i love the books cuz i am a nerd. well... sometimes. and i love the movies to but u cant really compare the too cuz they always change things when they make the movie

The books were fine, but I didn't like the movie. I really don't wanna see the next one, it would suck to get my hopes up, that this movie will be better, to have them smushed again.

I found the first book completely unoriginal, so i refuse to read the rest.
Magadei is right about all teen romance novels being pretty much the same. Not only that, but I've read other teen vampire romance novels before.
I'm glad I read it, though. Now I can feel superior to anyone who thinks that is a good book. A gorgeous vampire falling in love with a homely klutz. Ha.

Precisely. And if I wanted to read a far superior series from the same spawn as Twilight, I'd read Vampire Knight
VAMPIRE KNIGHT IS AWESOME!! i love it. my opinion on twilight is that the movie was so boring except the baseball part and the fight at the end[sorta] i mean thats the only two parts that was really active and fast.. the others was slow and boring...

Julia Swanheart I didn't really like the 1st movie. Or the actors. But I guess I could read the books. don't bother with the books, they are very repetitive and unoriginal. I'd suggest reading Vampire Diaries series instead. Much more entertaining 3nodding
