"I couldn't think of anything else otherwise" Her smile faded alittle as well when she saw that Vence's was too. The way she mentioned the day did kinda bring down the mood.
Mayloo had zoned out, atleast until a pillow hit her with little force. Looking over at Vence, she smiled again and sat up. "Yes they are, but I believe we shall save one for another day. Right now, we rest."
With a stretch of her arms, she fell back to pick apart the wrapped blankets to retrieve one for Vence along with a pillow. "I still do feel sorry for taking the bed..."

"Don't be," Vence said, turning around to help her out. "I was the one who gave it to you in the first place. And if we're going to bankridge, it's a three days' walk, two if you go by boat. I figured you could sleep in a bed before you sleep on the ground for a night," Vence added, shrugging.

She smiled with a pinky shade. "Well that may be so...but I feel as if you should be treated equally."
Somehow she managed to smile with triumph just to be alittle foward. "I mean, just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I'm anymore better then a guy"

"Yes, but because you are a girl, I am obligated to treat you with more respect. Please, the bed is yours," Vence finished, giving a bow in intentions of being humorous.
"Any more discussions about the bed and I'll hit you with this pillow," Vence playfully threatened, picking up a pillow and pretending to aim.

Mayloo shook her head in surrender, but just because of Vence's threat, she had to say something.
This something had to catch him off guard....more of a joke really. "B-but, I need a teddy bear. You would suffice." She didn't mean this...sort of. It just sounded funny. Besides, it was spoken with an expression of mock innocence

Vence looked at Mayloo with amusement. Really, himself, as a teddy bear? He couldn't even imagine that.
"I don't think I'm qualified for the job, sorry," Vence managed to say, thanks to his own quick thinking. It had been a close one though. He was usually pretty good at making on-the-spot remarks, but teddy bears....not in his arsenal of comebacks. Well, now was as good a time as ever, if ever the need should arise again.
Doubt it, Vence thought to himself, smiling.

"Aw, ok" A smile flooded back onto her face "Maybe just some ears and you'll be set. But I won't force you"
Now she picked up the blanket and pillow and handed them off to Vence. "Well then, here's your bedding."
Once more, she sat up, hopped to her feet, hugged Vence quickly and then jumped back onto the bed to cover herself up.
Now, while she was cozy, she blew a night kiss to Vence and then hid her face beneath a sheet. "Good night?"

At the mentioning of ears, he tried to look at his ears. Of course, he knew it wasn't possble, but all the same, it was humorous. He took on hand and traced one of his ears. Fairly long; longer than the average human's, but not long like an elf's.
"Glad to hear it," Vence said, smiling at his fortune there. At least he wouldn't be forced to. Taking the bedding, he thanked her, and returned her quick hug to him. What he didn't notice was once she was in the bed, she had blown a kiss to him. He had had his back turned as he placed the blanket on the ground, the pillow already in place.
"Or good morning, whichever suits you," Vence replied, smiling. He knew without a doubt it was past midnight, so technically either one went. He sat down on his makeshift bed, and took one last glance at the window before lying down. One of the moons still lingered in view.
[And now, for bed in reality. whee ]

She smiled and listened to Vence lay down upon the floor. With the use of an inside potted plant, she was able to animate a vine to flip the light switch off.
"Either way, rest well" Within minutes of silence, she had fallen asleep. It was alittle weird, not being home, but instead a run away. Hopefully it'll turn out well

[ Eh, that works. Don't mind me if it ends abruptly and seems strange o.0 ]
The moon shined brightly in the night sky. Only one moon: the other was nowhere to be seen in the black sky. Strange...were there no stars? Only a single moon hung there, shining it's pale light down upon the earth. And with it, he was able to see what lay before him.
A city of stone, worn by time and nature's hand. Towers were fell, statues crumbled, and the straight paths lay crooked. No sound was heard, there was no sight to be seen but this.
A eternity passed; yet, no time passed at all. Had he moved? It seemed so, for now he stood inside the city, standing before a wall. The smooth wall was broken thrice, twice, a glyph did each piece hold. The six glyphs faded away, and the wall became black.
The answers lie in walls undone, thrice, twice in count. Find the wall and utter here the words last spoke by shaodw's foe.
With a start, Vence awoke, nearly bolting upright. A short wave of tension passed over him, before he finally released the breath he had been holding in, realxing.
"Jsut a dream," he muttered, glancing out the window. Light passd through the open space, casting it's warmth on the floor beside him.
"It seemed so real though." He placed a hand on his head, puzzled by the dream. He could still remember it clearly, oddly enough.
[Ok, long enough...yeah, weird dream. whee ]

She hadn't exactly stumbled upon much of a dream. Just the usual make believe, story book images of a fantasy twisted life style. It got annoying sometimes really, but she somehow managed to keep dark thoughts at bay.
Mayloo had awoken early, leaving Vence to sleep in peace while she freshened up for the morning before heading downstairs to the bar to questioned what was edible to her liking.
Even during this pretty casual asking, her caution couldn't help but be on high. The last thing she wanted was to run into someone who thought she helped in killing the royals. That'd be a bad start to the day
((They tend to be that way, lol))

Shaking his head, he sighed, pushing himself up. a quick change, and he'd head downstairs. He glanced at the bed, and wasn't exactly surprised to see it empty. Mayloo was probably downstairs eating, or something like that.
Five minutes later, Vence was dressed properly for the day, almost ready to head out. ey, there was no reason for him to wear any armor at the moment. As soon as they head out, he would throw it on, topping it off with his travelling cloak. He left the room, and headed downstairs, still concerned abotu the dream. There was something about it that was... just too strange.
"'The answers lie in walls undone, thrice, twice in count'...The hell does that mean?" he asked himself. He didn't even have to say anything about the last part of it. "The last words spoke by shadow's foe." So what, the elements had physical forms now?
Spotting Mayloo at the bar, he couldn't help but smile a little. Hopefully she ddin't have too much of a concerning night, unlike his.
"Morning," Vence said, sitting beside her. "Have a good sleep?"

She had been leaning her head nonchalantly on her palm while her elbow rested on the counter supporting it all. Her feet were kicking within the air when Vence arrived.
"o-oh...good morning." She watched him sit besides her smiling. "I slept ok...what about you?" Her eyes fell upon his own. It was there, but not completely....something was bugging him. "And what about yours? You seemed to shift around alittle as you slumbered"
