What are the specs of the computer you are running this game on? Is it a desktop or a laptop?

I'm thinking of getting this game in a couple of days and if my laptop is on par with your computer or better, than I'll have no worries getting it.

What are the specs of the computer you are running this game on? Is it a desktop or a laptop?

I'm thinking of getting this game in a couple of days and if my laptop is on par with your computer or better, than I'll have no worries getting it.

Whoop, I've been neglecting this thread.

I'm on a kinda old desktop, but my dad is also into gaming so it's fairly decent. It can run most games at at least medium settings.

...and I just noticed your thread in the social room where you said you already got it. *derp*

Anyway, I haven't been updating because A) The Sims gets boring really fast, and B) I've been playing Oblivion and I'm too lazy to swap out the disks.* Especially considering the Sims 3 case has fallen somewhere Behind The Computer Desk (It's deadly enough to be capitalized) and I don't really feel like retrieving it.

In other words, I'm lazy.

*Yes, I've been spoiled by Steam.

The Sims gets boring really fast

That's never truly been the case for me...at least not with some Sims games. I absolutley loved the first Sims. Never played the second though.

I just got Sims 3, and I'm still getting attuned to it.

For me, yeah, the Sims gets boring for a little bit, but I usually get back into it again after a short period of time. I'm just a sucker for games where you can customize a whole bunch of s**t.
