-The vigilante got the wrong person; SS7 was a faild attempt to guess a reaper

But all in all, the Vigil. targets reapers. Which leads me to believe he was on to something.

I think that it's more likely that it was just a random shot in the dark at trying to get a reaper.

I think the bigger issue is how Hash, out of everyone, was killed by the Fallen Angel and how he just HAPPENED to be the Ramen guy. Either the FA is really lucky, someone doesn't like Hash (which is pretty likely, actually. HAH), or the FA knew that Hash was the Doctor.
