Jounouchi was far too cocky at the moment to be intimidated, "Not until you stop trying to up and kill yourself." he stuck his tongue out, as if this was a superb way of amplifying his argument. "And promising me you'll stay down until you've recovered a bit won't help. Like I'd ever trust your word." he laughed, somewhat obnoxiously, quite enjoying this new position of power he seemed to possess, however temporary. "So yeah, now that I think about it, you really don't have much of a choice but to lay here and recover."

The man was enjoying sitting on him far too much, it was unnerving. "I am not trying to kill myself," he snarled through gritted teeth, "I am trying to get out of this ******** building! Something I'd think you'd want to do as well."
And like hell I have no choice, he thought, trying once again to shove Jounouchi off him. No luck though, so his rant continued, "and I may have minimal choice now, but when I do recover - as you so insist I do - you are going to pay dearly for every minute of this!" He tried for a rolling escape while his jailer was busy laughing, but Jounouchi just clasped his thighs tighter, forcing Seto to remain down on his back.
Utterly humiliated and defeated, he decided to brainstorm innovative and twisted torture methods for the sadistic blond atop him. At least until he could think of a way to actually extricate himself from this predicament.
((Sorry, been in Tahoe since Friday. Since you were busy during the week and usually busier on the weekends I figured I'd sneak off and never be noticed, ah but here I am two days late. Hehehe, oh well, now trying to get back into this. The hard part isn't the time off, it's that I've also been sick for the past few days - luckily vacation ended up being very restorative and not the bad idea I feared it might be. I had been looking forward to this trip for too long to not go. Anyhow blah blah blah. I'll get to the other threads tomorrow. I am quite exhausted))

"So what do you expect to do once you get up anyway?" Jounouchi taunted, hovel back over to the generator and try your luck a second time, or climb down the elevator shaft when you're too messed up at the moment to even push me off? Even though you'll never admit it, I'm doing you a favor by not letting you go be stupid some more." He went quiet for a moment after that, seeming to be taking the time to consider their next options, now that he was sure he could hold Kaiba down, "Hey, so is there a fire escape somewhere up here? It'd be a helluva climb, but that could be one way of getting off this roof... I'd rather not go back in the building if we can help it, since it might just try trapping us in again." he was only somewhat talking to Kaiba, mostly just to himself.
((No worries. I've been like... busy trying to get some scheduling conflicts situated, plus spring cleaning, and a video game I've been dedicating a lot of my time to.))

Seto frowned for awhile before finally responding, "A hovel is a small, poorly built shack you uneducated idiot...though you think you'd know that one, given your background and all." He smirked, knowing it was probably not the best idea to taunt the man comfortably astride him at the moment. He couldn't resist though, I mean he had to have some sort of power play here, even something as small as mocking word usage.
Deciding not to wait and see if Jounouchi would prioritize punching the arrogant a** beneath him above doing him a favor, he continued, "And no I won't be hobbling to the generator at the moment, I don't think I currently have the necessary dexterity to do much anyhow." He looked somewhat sadly at his blackened fingers - thankfully Jounouchi hadn't pinned his arms down with his annoyingly muscular thighs - praying they'd heal alright. "As for the fire escape idea, I don't think there's a construction worker on earth who could handle the levels of vertigo he'd be required to face to put an outer retreat off a building this tall. However the outside is rather textured, if you'd like to try scaling it, though I didn't know dogs had opposable thumbs."
He really should learn when to stop, he pondered with an internal wry grin as the bundle of muscles atop him tensed.
((Ahh, took me more than an hour to write this! So once again the other threads are on hold. Mainly b/c I'm busy being in pain and actually in multiple convos on aim for once, that doesn't happen too often these days. Really need to go to bed an hour ago though.
*sigh* It's also hard to write when it's leading towards the goal of Jou getting off Seto (har, pun xp ) and I can't get myself to actually want that. xd ))

"Tch, even if I were a dog, I'd probably still be better at climbing than you with that messed up hand!" Jounouchi huffed, knowing that was a bit of a low blow, though deciding it made up for Kaiba's joint comments about his vocabulary, his living environment, and his, well... species. Regardless though, both of them did sort of have a point... that neither of them would probably be capable of scaling down an entire skyscraper, especially Kaiba in his current condition. Though Jounouchi was confident that he was physically capable of climbing a textured wall, there was no way he could keep that up for the hours upon hours it would take to get to the bottom, not to mention how absolutely terrifying that would be. So scaling down the building was not an option... "...maybe... maybe if we throw things down onto the ground, people will notice and call someone to get us down?" it was the only other thing he could think of.
((Being in pain? o.o Seriously, who would ever want Jounouchi to stop straddling Kaiba once he was on him? XD))

Seto flinched slightly at the insinuation about his hand, mainly because it forced to the surface that niggling fear that he'd never recover the full use of his hand. That he'd be marked by horrible scars, constantly reminded of this wretched day - assuming he survived it.
He couldn't help laughing out loud when presented with the idea of throwing things down to the ground though, the idea was that bad. "Jounouchi," he said, still chucking and temporarily forgetting to interchange an insult with the name, "I'm sure physics is not your forte. But if we did that, and the item hit someone, given our height and the velocity of the falling object, you'd probably kill them. Somehow, I doubt involuntary manslaughter is going to actually make the situation better."
Sighing he shut his eyes, trying to ignore the unsettling warmth on top of him. There wasn't anything he could do about it now, might as well attempt to think of something productive to do.
((Eh...feminine crap. xd

"Whaaa, seriously?" Jounouchi blinked, seeming amazed and curious by this news, "So like... even if you threw something small like a coin or something, it could kill someone?" his eyes were slightly wider than usual, seeming to actually be interested in learning something for once, "That's crazy!" He thought for a moment, now determined to find an exception to Kaiba's explanation by figuring out something that would be safe to throw, "And what about something that isn't hard, like a jacket or something?" this was a new challenge to get into all of the sudden, and he was already forgetting how horrible their current situation was.
((Ah, I see. Heehee.))

Seto opened his eyes and raised an eyebrow at Jounouchi. He couldn't possibly be asking about physics, with something akin to interest in his tone at that. Not the man who spent most of his classes talking and making jokes, in between nap time of course. Deciding not to poke at that fact, he merely answered, "it's not about size, it's about weight and it's distribution. A coin being small means all mass is concentrated in a very tight amount of space. Given the speed it would attain in fall, from this height, instant death. Now a jacket would have the majority of it's weight distributed over a larger concentration of space, and given such, would not centralize the impact. Furthermore, it would most likely be slowed down by air resistance during it's descent. So depending on wind factors, and assuming it's not a metal zipper actually impacting with the victim, they might survive. Might. Most likely they'd be pretty badly injured though. I would just suggest not throwing anything off the roof. Get off me and I'll think of something else."

Jounouchi nodded along as Kaiba explained, actually listening intently, "Okay then, that makes sense. Like how if you throw a coin at someone, it would hurt more than if you tossed a jacket... but then it just gets amplified more because it's falling so far." he wasn't too absolutely horrible at comprehending this type of talk when he actually payed attention. After he had clarified that to himself, he considered the rest of Kaiba's words, "So if I don't get off you you'll refuse to think of any ideas and just have us stay up here forever?" he couldn't help but grin as he teased the boy.

Rolling his eyes, he decided to switch tracks. "Maybe, at the very least I'm going to start thinking you're enjoying yourself far too much here. Considering that you claim to not like me very much, I can't say I buy the whole 'for my own good' argument. I've got to assume you're getting something else out of this rather intimate invasion of my personal space, I mean at the very least, you could get off my hips here." He then worked very hard to keep his expression impassive, fighting equal waves of discomfort and amusement, while Jounouchi flushed brighter than a tomato. If he couldn't threaten his way to freedom perhaps he could embarrass his captor away.

Why yes, Jounouchi's face was now quite red. "Wh-wh-h-how... wh-why would you even think something like that?!" he finally managed to stutter out in shock, quickly taking the initiative to practically jump off of Kaiba, now standing above the other teenager with a hand over his chest. He looked flustered, and was staring down at Kaiba in bewilderment as he took a moment to regain even a slight bit of his composure. That had just been... unexpected. "Th-that's just creepy!" he continued, "And I'm not gay, and even if I was, it would definitely not be for you!!" he said the last word with absolute disgust. That Kaiba would even consider something so... so horrible! And he had thought they were actually getting along in just the slightest bit for a moment there!

Taking a deep breath, Seto placed all his weight on his left arm, and then propelled himself shakily to his feet. Smirking he faced Jounouchi, his ridiculous plan had turned out to be rather successful. He took a few tentative steps forward, just to make sure he could. The dizzy spell assaulting him was unpleasant, but it wasn't crippling, he was fairly certain he'd be able to stay vertical, for awhile at least.
"Defensive much? You know what they say about homophobes..." he trailed off tauntingly, glancing at the the still flushed blond. He was almost giddy, finally up off his back. Hoping that Jounouchi would be busily flabbergasted for awhile he inched back towards the generator. He wasn't completely suicidal, he wasn't going to touch the damn thing blind again. He was going to look, and if any of the plaques on the wall were informative enough, then he'd consider touching. He had to do something though, murdering people with quarters until help arrived just wasn't going to cut it.

"I-I'm not a homophobe...!!" Jounouchi argued, stalking after Kaiba, now both humiliated and pissed off, "Just because I find the idea of something being implied with you absolutely horrible doesn't mean I put the same judgment on all guys!!" he said this in meaning that he wasn't really against gay guys in general, not particularly realizing that he sounded as if he were implying that he was not adverse to being attracted to potential males other than Kaiba. He was also too intent on his own rantings to notice that the CEO seemed to be returning to the generator.

His smirk actually managed to widen at the further spiel. This was probably more amusing than it should be. But if it was keeping Jounouchi's focus off his actions, all the better.
He didn't turn around to face the other man, but he did respond, "oh I'm sorry, it was just me you were objecting to, you weren't clear the first time. So if not me, what kind of guys do it for you? Slovenly, poor, uneducated - am I getting warm?"
While waiting for the anticipated angry rant, he studied the sketches and descriptions on the wall. He actually wanted to kick himself (but that would definitely kill any balance he was currently maintaining), he was pretty sure he could have worked with the information given before. But now, aside from his (hopefully temporary) lack in dexterity, there also seemed to be a further complication with the panels from his previous screw up. Think Seto, there has to be an alternative way around this...

Jounouchi blinked, once again taken off guard by Kaiba's sudden insinuation of his sexuality. His face took another opportunity to go red, "I-I-I never said I was interested in guys either...!!" his tone was now beginning to sound more whiny than angry. Sometimes Kaiba was just so... gah! "Why do you always gotta go and just assume everything about me?!" he demanded in frustration, now only a few feet behind Kaiba, though still none the more aware of the other's intentions with the generator.
