He slightly pulled back, wishing not to truly harm the girl. "Because it is my destiny." Generating a field of heat and pressure, Zero unleashed a wave of force to pushed all away. "Fate can't be changed now for I am dying. Slowly, painfully, but surely. My goal was to find a lost secret. Oh what a fool I was for trying. It ended up costing me the remainder of my life, but in my sacrifice, it will give way to hope. The death of a villain will equal the birth of a hero." He prepared for his next move.

Argent tried to stand her ground, but was pushed back by the hot wave. She fell back, and sat still for a moment. "... A.. Vil-... Huh..." The girl was confused, but she stood and sighed. "... If that's how it has to be..." She swiped her hand in front and across her body, sending a thin, sharp wave of air. After this, she use her hands to send a large rocket of air in Zero's direction.

With haste, Zero blocked the sharp winds, nearly breaking his sword in the process. Once this was done, he allowed the rocket of air to hit him, tackling it head on. "You see...my father is a soldier of the Fire Nation and my mother, a servant, but I...I am a traitor, trained to only kill and take. But the day I gave...the day I helped...I unleashed a bodily curse from the violent entrance of an uncommon entity." Using his chi, he took control of the wind, throwing it down to the earth. "My power is too great for my hatred to have and as long as I live in animosity, I will always thrive to kill everything for my own control. This is why I am dying. This is why fate had given me an end. My apprentice has gained the power that I was sent after...that warring command my father gave makes me desire to kill him. I will not kill my friend over cold blood and boiling greed."

Argent frowned, "S-So... To save one life, another most be taken..." She closed her eyes, inhaling sharply. After a moment of thinking, she opened her eyes and whimpered. She ran forward, hoping to catch him off guard.Her fist were covered in high speed winds, and she swung forward; aiming for his gut.

Zero saw the attack coming. "Indeed...but my life won't end so easily." He took control of her fist, tossing it to the side. "This is also fate for I have foreseen: My enemy becomes my savior and they too are rewarded with the gift of the gods. The gift of pure chi and vast control."
He returned the attack, a flaming fist aimed towards her abdomen with destruction in mind. Now that the girl was informed, the true battle could start without restriction.

Argent yelped in pain, a burning sensation going into her body. She tumbled back; clutching her stomach where his fist had landed. She growled, running forward, faking punches, and then aiming one for the man's chest, her hands soaked in forceful winds.

Zero was thrown off guard by her quick recovery. The punch ripped through his shirt and jacket even injuring him but he as a whole was still and stationary. "Very nice." His left hand exploded in flames destined to harm all around as his right hand slowly motioned the air with his feet quaking the earth with every step as he advanced forward.

Argent jumped back, the sudden flames giving her a small spook. She stumbled as his steps moved the earth around her, "What the-" She took a large step backwards, trying to fight him off from far away. She shot jets of air forward, trying to keep him away.

 ~Prince Damien - Son of the Earth King~
Damien had made his way around to where he was behind Zero. He had a broad sword in each hand and rushed towards him, "Hey you!" He yelled out as he rushed at him.

Zero continued to advance forward, that is until he was distracted by the earth prince. "Hello Damien." In a quick twist, he pushed the dirt in front of him, turning, and released a combined wave of air and flame. The oxygen in the air allowed the flames to grow higher and higher, almost reaching blue flame level.

Argent pivoted quickly; releasing a gust of air in Damien's direction. She let the strong wind push him away from the flames, and then turned back to Zero. "Hey! Leave him out of this!" She glared at Damien, "I told you to get out of here princess!"

~Prince Damien - Son of the Earth King~ Damien slid back when Argent made the gust of wind at him, "Sorry Argent... but I have to decline that..." He reached into a pouch on his side and pulled out a bamboo stick, but it had a separated top. He flicked the top off and then it had a lit fuze, "Hey... catch!" He said tossing it to Zero, it exploded a couple of feet away.

"He's asking for it." Zero tried to stop the improvised explosive but was too late, getting bombarded by the explosion. "Well that was a good one." There was little to no damage from the flames but the bamboo shrapnel did leave many deep cuts along his body through his now nearly destroyed jacket.
His outer attire nearly falling off, he brushed himself off, staring at the tricky prince. "And that was my favorite jacket too...oh well." Zero held his wooden sword outward towards Damien. In an flash explosion, he released a burst of intense heat that pushed in a 360 degree wave.

Damien saw the burst of heat and dove behind a wall, the heat passed by it but it kept him from being burnt to a crisp. He pulled out another bamboo bomb, but this one had a blue cap. He smiled and flicked the tip off, the fuse light and he tossed it over the wall. The bomb landed near zero's feet but then the fuse went inside the stick and smoke started pouring out, surrounding zero.

Argent, unlike Damien, couldn't find something to hide behind. She used her airbending to shoot herself into the air when the wave came close. A few stray sparks burnt her hands, but otherwise her dodge was effective. She stood and watched the smoke rise, and the turned to Damian. "Damien, please! Get out of here!" She dove into the smoke and began swinging punches at Zero, being carefully not to use air so the smoke would stay.
