"Yes, you will hear more laughing." Jack says still trying to stop laughing from before. Finally after he settles down a bit he looks at the giant bomb and bursts out guffawing.

a vein apeared in endings forhead "is that how you wanna be about it?"

a random passerby was walking by when an explosion of smoke flooded out the broken windows and holes in the cieling of the ruined building
"weird.." and kept walking

inside the entire buildings survace was covered in soot and those at ground zero had there hair standing on and as they themselves where covered in said soot

"Hose?" Leigh whispered back, "Sure, probably. Where is it, exactly?" he inched closer to the door, keeping himself close enough to Cadwallander so that he could hear him.

the soot then grew eyes and began to come to life
perticulurly that which was on cads cheeks which began to pull them in oposite directions
"are you unfamiliar with soot sprites?" ending asked bitingly
they began to pull at the walls trying to tear the place down

She was heading for the stairs, half listening to what the others were doing, when she heard something fro down below. She stopped in midstep just as she was about to start going up and then turned towards the direction the sound had come from. It was towards the kitchen, but not quite. Taking her foot off the step she began walking in the direction of the kitchen but then stopped when she noticed an old beat up door near the base of the staircase. Heading towards it, she cautiously sent out a tiny pulse of her magic and found that something...or one was down there. Pushing the door open slowly, she couldn't help but wince as the door squeaked loudly.

"Hello?" she called softly. "Is someone down here?"

"Okay." Leigh whispered back. He slipped out of the back door while the soot sprites pulled on Cadwallander's cheeks. The hose was laying right along the back wall where he'd said it would be. Leigh slipped the end through the door to him, muttering "Give me a signal of when to turn it on." He dashed back out the door to the spout.

the soot sprites avoided the broom and some of them began pulling at cadwallanders hair and jumping in front of his eyes

ending backed up to the doorway and pulled out a time bomb
that should keep them distracted
and set it then pushed it into the room under the couch and walked to the oposite side of the street as the soot sprites distracted them

Somewhere under the place where bombs were being thrown and strange beings were playing with Cadwallander's cheeks, a little flame no bigger than a candle's appeared, floating in midair. Slowly, it traced a large circle of fire. Once the tiny flame returned to it's starting point, completing the geometrical form, the circle itself lit on fire. The blaze spread, starting from the perimeter toward the center, and suddenly put itself out. If someone was to look through it, he would see a completely different place, like a mirror reflecting another dimension.

Just before the Gate closed, a man came out of it. He was somewhere in his mid-thirties, weilding a red can and wearing a hat on his head. The man looked around a bit before lowering his head with a sigh.

"Well, this place surely doesn't look like it... Guess I took a wrong turn somewhere in there... Oh well. Now that I am here, I might as well take a look around."

At that time, some noise could be heard from above.

"Eh, seems like it may be interesting up there," the man said, looking up. He start walking, looking for a way out of there when he fell down because of a box he didn't see, kicking it in the opposite direction.

"Owowowow....That hurt..."

The man dressed in red turned around toward the direction of the noise at the same time he was standing up.

"Is it me or..." He started talking, but stopped in the middle of his sentence as he walked toward the place where the box had fallen. There, he took it in his hand and inspected it.
"This is one of the rare talking boxes of Malkidt! Come on! Talk again!" he said as he started savagely poking the box.
