The professor shouldn't have been surprised that Ren had a roll of bandages hidden somewhere on his person. He was a ninja, after all.. so terribly sneaky. The wrapping actually felt good - her throbbing ankle appreciated the support. But when she felt the weight of her body lifted off of her tail, she let out the tiniest of squeaks, and clutched at his robe in surprise. Selene was used to being carried everywhere - she really was. But Ren made it sound all pretty with pretty words. It made her hide her face in her hands and giggle.

"Fine, don't blame me if your arms get tired!" She chirped up at him, pointing with a shy finger at the private study rooms. "We should get the students into those rooms if they've found their books. So.. umm.."

She giggled again. Telling him where to carry her made her feel silly.

"Let's go gather the groups that look ready, and show them to their rooms."

"You're err, welcome to. Plenty of chairs," Barth told Jason.

Christof dropped an enormous seven-hundred page book on the table between them.

"That," Barth said in a not-that-I-mean-to-complain-but voice, "is on the thickish side."

"Yes, milady," the ninja replied gravely, and carried her back out of the shadows of the stacks, following her directions towards the nearest group of students who appeared to have a book picked out.

Ren was always so friendly, even when the hound was sure he was going to get elbowed by the winged boil. But Ren was ever the pacifist. and a good hugger if he may say so.

"It has been awhile yes, i've been having out with Jove and I pick up scent traces of you all the time." he stated happily, pawing at the feathered wing on his back like the fluffy playtoy it was. Ren was just perfect to bat at and roll around with.

the hellhound finally took a peek over the pale boils shoulder, more like scrambling to lean over and see who was there. Ren had no problem with a little extra weight on his side right?

"oh there's someone here, hello!" he greeted with a bark, twitching his tail about and giving the gryphon a soothing tail brush at the same time. "What's your name?"

Unfortunately, Jericho didn't see anything suspicious about that question at the moment.

"Grey fog? I... think so. I don't really remember much from that time," he said while thinking, "Where you there when they pulled me back?"

He didn't recall seeing him, but he didn't recall a lot of things from that day. There were a lot of students there, and he only really remembered a small handful of them.

In any case, he turned his attention back to Christof when he brought back a huge book. They also had one more student with them for this... study group thing.

"Draconominicon, eh?"

That should be useful for himself. Though, it looked like Barth wasn't too thrilled with it.

"We do have a library," said Sparrow lightly. "It's...well, it's rather large, and there are a lot of thick volumes that seem...well, it's a tad dusty in here, and - "

He didn't get much farther with his (pathetic) description before their professor finally reappeared, and Sparrow gave a small sigh of relief, looking at her expectantly as she began to talk. Then he looked back at Angeline.

"Guess this means we should find some people to work with," he said lightly, glancing around.

"Yes," said Ren Very Seriously. "Yes, good friends are always good. And you definitely need some in this school."

He smiled happily at Demi, his countenance immediately becoming brighter (if that was even possible) at the word Jove because really besides LW there was nothing that made Rens happier than their little brothers. emotion_kirakira

"Jove is my little brother," he whispered to Akubi with a sage nod, giving Demi a thumbs up.

"I hope you're teaching him lots of great things," said Ren before turning to look at Professor Selene, arms automatically lifting to hold Demi in place as the boil climbed onto his back, rocking back on his heels.

"Groups!" said Ren cheerfully. "Oh, Akubi, this is Demi - Demi, this is my new friend Akubi. The three of us can be in a group, maybe? We just need two more!"

He peered around for others. "Maybe we can snag Enzo, see if he'll come work with us."

TG did not like to be ordered, but he was being claimed even if it wasn't by his name, and he wasn't willing to fight with someone when he had no other alternative.

Huffing, he slipped off his chair and walked over, claiming another seat and sitting in it. The chair was far too big for him and he sat in the middle, arms crossed.

Calder glance to the stranger. "Were you there during Jericho's rescue? I didn't see you there." Then again, there were a lot of people and the fight was rather hectic. "I guess thanks for helping out." Though he never met this student before. "Uh....who are you?"

When Christof came back to drop a massive tomb on the table, nearly breaking on of it's legs, Calder's ears dropped. "That's...uh....really big." He didn't like big books like that. "Does it have pictures?"

Xavier followed Eldrid somewhat reluctantly, though he dug in his heels at the sight of just who exactly the furnace dog was dragging him towards.

"Wait why are we going to - "

"Er, hello."

He gave Lifen a look that clearly indicated that yes, he had said that, but no she shouldn't have taken him seriously because obviously he hadn't want to surround himself by Amityville students, but really he had to because otherwise how would he know of their strengths and weaknesses?

Mengyao scowled a little.

"I'll be exactly who I wish to be."

"Ahh I have always wanted a sibling to adore," Akubi murmured back at Ren sounding at least a little jealous, or pretending to be. It is never clear which. The cat-boil gave Demi a very eyed stare of happiness.

Who was this delightful soul? A Demi? "Ah. Yes. As Ren has said, I am an Akubi," he affirmed and as they started to form their little group.

"Enzo-person is nice. Hm? How about ... Her As well?" He pointed directly to a ghoul who appeared to have rather interesting wings.

Willow's tail flicked as she looked, still overwhelmed but she noticed a pair of horsemen. "Come on Maple, I have an idea." She knew Mengyao from the haunted house and their little spar.

Stopping in front of Lifen and Mengyao she gave a quick bow. "Mengyao, would you and your ghoul friend be interested in having students as partners for this assignment?" She asked hoping that they wouldn't be turned down. It was the only logical choice she had, all the other students were much too rowdy.

Mjoll sighed as she was ignored oh well the boil was much too drunk. She moved over to Selene and looked at the woman "Are you having any troubles?" She asked having seen the chase but didn't offer to help. Her wings twitched slightly as she watched the teacher. "Maybe there's something I could do to help?"

Group work, wasn't a special talent of Mjoll's anyways.

"Nah. I wasn't, maybe it was another big ******** fog dragon I'm thinking of." he shrugged. "It wasn't red. And didn't have cool wings like these."

When the patchwork came back Rex eyed the book, then looked back to Christof before addressing Barth. "Your skivvy isn't too ******** smart is he? You tell him to get a thin book he brings back the ******** like. Encyclopedia Grammatica." He pointed at the book, addressing Christof like he was hard of thinking. "Big book bad"

That was easy. Good, they had a full set but he thought one more couldn’t hurt.

The girl hadn’t moved yet from the crash form earlier, what was she planning to do? Did the librarian have some sort of ghoul magnet on him? Then again AJ had joined the chase, Andrew figured he might as well recollect him to.

“AJ, our table is over there with the reaper and the fire imp over there.” He waved a hand at them. He turned over to Amphi. “Hey you are Danny’s friend, Amphi, right? Come join our group.” She had a natural form right? Maybe she could impart her knowledge upon well… him. Being still really new, he had no idea how things worked yet, thus why he was intent on grabbing at least one upper year student. He really would prefer a nap over actually doing anything, well that was called delegation right? If people were told what to do, they would do it, usually. It seemed to work so far today. Besides too many hands on a book was too much.
