"Makoto...it is a pleasure," he told her as he sat down next to her. The two of them were on the other side of the bar, away from Rein and Saotome and out of earshot. He couldn't hear what Rein was talking to him about and although he was curious, Blade placed his attention upon Makoto. He already knew quite a bit of her due to Axel's information, but as to not alert her that she was indeed spied on by a seed in her own village, Blade carried on with the conversation casually. "My brother, his name is Axel, he's the one you should thank," he chuckled lightly, trying to relax the mood a bit. He's had his fair share of near death experiences and to calm the mind was something easier said than done, many a times Blade almost soiling his pants due to how many times he's been scared or frightened.

Sipping on the drink that was infront of him brought delight to his face. He was almost close to being in heaven from the drink."Sound Oinins, well i have not heard much from the shinobi from sounds. Rein would be able to clearly see it. He then looked at this glass. The he turned his attention to the girl, seeing her reach for something. He didn't mind it."Well, it must be nice to have a squad to look after. Just be sure to watch out for them, they tend to get alittle chaotic as i just seen."He was not sure on the shinobi, they seemed shady."So tell me, just how powerful are you. I haven't notice your chakera at all, and could not sense you to see your strength. But yet again, you are a assassin, you are suppose to conceal yourself."He took another sip."here is a neat trick."He made a handsign and cause her glass to frost over. It did not freeze her drink, but made a nice and cool. Plus the glass had a frosted look to it."So what is in that drink of yours?"

"Yes I am..." Blade said as he leaned back upon his chair and folded his arms across his chest. "Several of the fights are going on right now. Mine hasn't been posted yet...I don't even know who I'm fighting with or against. For all I know I could be fighting you," he said, smiling within the darkness of his cowl. "But then again, it would be a good fight, killing is not allowed," he added. He only killed when it was necessary, and only as a last resort.

"The Sound Village likes to keep themselves really," she began as she recalled what Axel had told her of Sound. "We are neither enemies nor allies to any foreign shinobi nation. Their problems are no concern to us and as long as they stay out of Sound Affairs, we stay out of their affairs. The only contact really that we've had with other villages is when they are housing a wanted criminal. Other than that, we are pretty secluded," Rein explained, recalling that Sound shinobi are hardly ever involved in wars. Rein noted his strange ring, but having never encountered a member of Akatsuki, she didn't know what the ring was. (Which is true, for me to know anything about them would be metagaming XP) "I'm not all that powerful really...the only thing that I have going for me is my speed. I have been classifed as a special jounin," she lied, not wishing to reveal her true strength just yet. "But running a squad is not as nice as it seems...its more like babysitting. Trust me when I say that he will be punished for acting so rash and bold. An oinin's life is in the shadows, not in the spotlight," she added before she saw Saotome cool her glass. "So you're from the Hyoton lineage...very cool, no pun intended," she chuckled lightly as she wavered her glass in front of her and seeing it supercooled. "This is actually a strong and potent drink...its got rum, vodka, tequila, and gin, some Triple Sec, and then what really makes it is the Blue Dekuyper, gives it a sweet taste. Kinda like a sweeter Long Island," she explained to him. Looking to her right, her eyes widened, surprised and stunned by who she saw as if she was looking at death itself. Thankfully because her face was hidden it didn't show, and she casually returned to looking at her drink. What Velox was doing there...she didn't know.

"It seems like your village is filled with smart shinobi. They keep out of affairs that do not involve them. I really like that. Though i come a village known for defense."He didn't want to reveal to much info on himself. Though the Blast Sword was a dead giveaway, he could not conceal it as well as his own powers."As for my Hyoton, i have mastered it fully. I know everything about the clan and all its power. Though it is hard to tell these days since the clan memebers are very limited. My old master no longer exist, so i had to learn from myself through hard teachings. I wont lie, being in Mist 7 does put on alot of work." He was about half way done with his drink. He had gotten alot of the ice cream part, but was now getting to the layer of Chocolate syrup. He loved that part."I have only ran one squad, and that was a squad of the most odd balled shinobi ever. Though i wont lie, its not the shinobi, its the Kages. After Luo Sensei died, another shinobi took over. She was a user of the Hyoton, and trained under him. She became the Temporary Mizukage and did a alright job, she let me back into the mist. though after awhile, she dissapeared. I still wish i could talk to her again. She was the only person that i could go to for training in the Hyoton Style. I been thinking about maybe designing some new techniques, but i want some help doing so."He was sure enough going to want to order another Mudslide, and he would buy this round of drink on him."I am not sure if you are affiliated with the girl over their talking to one of your shinobi, but she is a spy from Oto. And she was sent to spy on Rain. Of course me being in good connections with the Amekage, i was extrememly close to killing her. She is not to be in the Rain, and i don't ever want to catch her their again. To let you know, she is giving your village a bad reputation of spies and bad omens. You should take note of that."

Velox turned his head to look down the bar. Like always he was looking for a random lady to have fun with and the first one his eyes fell upon was wearing a cloak. The shinobi stood up with his tea and walked to the other end of the bar and stood next to one side of her. "Hey there," he called out with his usual smile. It was one which never seemed to change. "Don't know your reason for wearing a hooded cloak but your drinks on me. If that's alright with you," he said as he leaned up against the counter. The woman was Kairi but the male would've never known. She had been suppressing her chakra and, even though he had trained the girl sometime ago, her scent would be very faint to him. Plus the fact that her face looked completely different. This lead Velox to believe she was just some random kunoichi, and by the sounds of her conversation, she was one from Otogakure.

Thank God I thought of the idea of the Armor of Assassino...otherwise Velox would have found me out by scent and Muse through chakra...then again, you guys are the reason I came up with the idea in the first place rofl )

"I fought against a member of the Hyoton clan once. She was quite formidable of an opponent. She was rather odd, and she managed to escape my grasp before the deciding blow was ever delivered," she told him as she held a hyoton scroll within her pouch, as well as a scroll to the Hidden Mists's snow jutsus. But what was odd is that he said that Luo had died, it was just recently that Luo went to head to Castle Auditore in order to meet with the Ushio Clan that had followed Rein there. He must have been classified as dead then, since he did leave rather abruptly without word to anyone. "So from the looks of it, Mist has a hard time keeping a Kage in place for a long period of time. That can never be good for a village...hopefully you now have a good Kage to lead you," she said, wondering how well Yun was doing in her stead. At the time she left, Yun had a lot to learn, and he would not have been her first choice...however...Yun did have the potential to become a great leader. It is through that potential that she knew the village would be in good hand, ONLY if he had reached that potential. If he was still the same rash man that she had known then the village would be in trouble. "I am not connected to the girl. I simply do as I am ordered to do. Which is why I told her that she better be careful the next time. She may have been tracking a rogue in Rain, but then again, that is our job, so I do not know why she was there, nor the policies of the Otokage. Then again, it is not my place to question the Otokage. I am a tool, one who does what she is told to do," she finished just as Velox approached her from the other side.

It was deja vu...a memory of long ago being played out all over again. Velox you SOB, don't you ever change? Still barking up the wrong tree like always. "I never mind another drink...especially after such a long journey and having to deal with shinobis that get out of hand," she chuckled lightly, acting amused by his approach when in fact, she couldn't have wanted anything more than for him to go away. She almost checked her armor to make sure it was fastened properly, knowing full well that the Inuzuka could smell her scent, one that no doubt he would have never forgotten.

"So," Velox began to speak. "I hear you're from Otogakure but that headband of yours doesn't have the same scent as you. Hell, you don't even have a scent. Though that's alright with me," a smile appeared on his face. He didn't think twice about the woman not having a scent. If he were to actually stop and think for a second instead of aiming to get laid then he most likely would added two and two together, but he didn't. Eventually the bartender handed the woman her drink. Velox turned to the bartender. "Can I get another as well?" he asked as he handed the bartender his empty glass.

A tool? Was she as mindless as she is making herself to be? He listened to everything she had to say. Things were different these days.'So much has change since the Mist went under a new kage. Just watching for Akastuki, they will get you can make you wish you were never born. Though the members of the group are scarce, they are close to never being seen or found. "We could very well be teammates," Blade told her as he mused with the idea of her being his teammate. A long range fighter with a close range fighter...they would make a good team. "I am originally from the Hidden Grass village, however, my brother and leader are from Sound, and seeing as they took me in, I guess I call Sound my home as well," Blade stated, a lie only used in unison that was planned by them specifically for the chuunin exams. "However, I have never stepped foot in Sound, I have been hunting down rogues all this time with my leader. It is why I stepped in to help you, because you are from Sound," he finished. He did in some way tell her the truth...he was from the Grass Village.

"Probably because the 'scent' you're probably smelling is that of one of the members of my squad. As a punishment I asked him to wash all our clothes and headbands. It probably smells like him, and I don't wear it very often...don't want other villages to know where I'm from now do I?" she told him as she now had a second drink in front of her as she held the Sound Headband up once again for Saotome to see. "Saotome, are you drunk from that one drink? I have no earthly idea what you're talking about. What group? Are you talking about the Akatsuki? I just showed you my headband...twice now." she told him, not exactly sure what he was talking about not having a headband. Was he a lightweight when it came to drinking, maybe so.

As she looked at Blade, she lost control of the glass she had been spinning on the table, and dropped it. Though it didn't break, it did make a big sound.Makoto jumped, the sudden sound and loss of control startling her."Sorry." She quickly apologized."Maybe after this exam, you could come visit Sound, Blade-kun."She picked the glass up and gently set it back on the table.

"I mean...my sensei is loyal to Sound, therefore I am too," Blade heard the sound it made, wincing beneath the darkness of his robe. It was unusually loud, and he was surprised that it didn't break. "Yeah, we're definitely going back to Sound after the exams are over," he told her. Actually, in all honesty if he achieves the rank of Jounin, he has no idea what he'll do afterwards. His master might send him back to Grass...or spy on yet another village.
