"I'm willing to try anything once," she said. The club was entering into full gear; the dim blue overhead lights were rising into the ceiling and before them, all of the souls in this place, a new source of light emerged. The room was set ablaze by color, a wild transfusion of red and black and gold. Then, the light began to blink, and so quickly that they could barely perceive their own movements. Mayu, a tall woman with black hair, red lips and killer eyes was in the corner of the room. It wasn't the lights that were enticing her, as they did her brother. No, it was the lady before her. She was blonde, with hints of strawberry. She had some very short pants that made no effort to conceal her long, smooth, tan legs. Her eyes were green and they transcribed: make me yours. And she did. That night, she was a slave to another's desire, doing all that she could to sate it.
The next morning, she was home free and she hadn't damn well felt so alive since her early youth. She led Kyon along and they stepped into club after club, the woman finding gentle lads and gentle ladies, flipping through them like a remote; she had all the power in the world for that series of nights, where she controlled the rise and fall of the beat of their heart, controlled the separation that existed within them: the defining edge between a man, a woman, or a beast. By night's end, each and every one of them was confused as to what they were; they only knew for sure that they wanted more but sadly, she didn't want to give it to them. She went from town to town. She went from city to city, country to country, and within each single square mile there was another world of life. That was the story of her sexual awakening, and in the end, there was nothing more to be answered, there was only an endless space of what was experienced and known; empirical knowledge of love and lust.

"Mayu," her mother said. "Mayu, you're not eating right. You need to eat more vegetables. You're becoming fat. I will not have a fat child." Only a moment, a brief memory of such words. And then, more: "Mayu, you're stupid. What sort of grades are these? How do you expect to pass the academy when you're so far behind the other students? Look at your brother's example. He's the top of the class! He's already learned Futton!" Another. Jealousy over her brother. An inferiority complex. "Mayu, you're weak! Mayu, you're stupid! Mayu, you're ugly! Mayu, Mayu, Mayu, Mayu!"
Stop, she begged. She begged the world to stop. It was always cruel to her. As a young girl, she had been abused from the time of birth to the time of now. Her father had died when she was only a child in a great war. Her mother had become more twisted the more she grew; she did not know what had changed her so, only that her decline was intensifying. She had begun to hate herself, her life, her brother. She felt so alone and isolated, the people at school abused her, teasing and hitting her. The boys called her mean and the girls called her ugly and weird. She curled into a ball and lived in the corner of societal imagination. She was alone, and she always felt alone.
One day, however, a boy her age approached her in the academy; a new student that had been transferred from another institution. His first words to her, after witnessing the sadness in her eyes, would be: Let's enjoy life for as long as it lasts. Those words, beyond all others, struck her. They meant something to her, beyond the initial meaning. They shook the cords in her heart and allowed her to see clearly; that hatred, that inferiority, that all of these emotions she held inside of her were unnecessary. She was going to die alone and sad. She needed to change, to see change. She needed to shake it up, and so she did; she joined this boy, she did whatever she could never do when all she could imagine was hating herself. She drank, she smoke, she slept with him and re-imagined life with him. Eventually, he died during a mission after they had achieved Genin rank. She wept for him, but she moved on.
She had become a changed woman. She was ready to face the world. When Shinsei assumed control of her once peaceful homeland, she joined Kumogakure with her brother in order to acquire the power to reattain the Hi no Kuni of the past.

"Do you not believe in the future of our nation, Ashoka?!" Kyon screamed; he was loud, he was angry. This was at the moment before the penultimate of his life, where he would inevitably decide to leave Konoha so as to not be absorbed by the evil that had festered within. His friend, and some would say his lover, was reluctant to leave. He did not really care for politics or much of anything beyond the physical, the spiritual, the self and the ones connected directly to him. He did not imagine a difference whether Shinsei led, or Kana before him. He didn't want to leave home, a place so dear to him. Yet, he didn't want Kyon to leave him behind; it was one of those moments where you had to make the ultimate choice, and let that choice haunt you forever, for better or worse.
He chose to stay, and as a result, Kyon was heartbroken. You could say that Kyon was one half himself, a quarter his sister, and a quarter Ashoka. They had all known each other since they were very young, and always had he been in love with that man. Leaving him was painful. It was the worst pain he'd ever experienced in his entire life, and yet he knew it could not be worse than watching his nation devolve into chaos and anarchy. He dreamt of a moment where he could return, to see that man, the smile on his face.
In the cabin of the ship that would take him to his new world, Kumogakure, he had a vision of the future. It was a world where love prospered and not war, where good could overcome evil. He saw the end of that man -- Shinsei -- and the future that came with the devolution of such an end. This allowed him that goal, that dream, that united his sister and him by a common purpose.

And all the earth is united by its core; just so, the stars are united by the supermassive black hole, or otherwise known as, the galaxy. The world always excited him. From the moment he was born, he was a humanist. Everything around him was so beautiful, so intriguing. He loved the world, loved the people. And so, you could imagine he was very popular. He was charismatic, smart, taking classes in stride; he didn't hate studying or learning, instead he found it to be the most compelling task in the world. He did well, always; he constantly improved and did even better. He was the perfect, prodigious child. Of course, one day, every man is invited and forcibly placed into a moment where his beliefs are tested. That moment was the invasion of the River Country. Before then, he had never imagined anything to be other than what it was presented to him; he believed in his peers, his country, and human goodness.
When Shinsei Karnata lined up the prisoners of war and nailed them to the walls of their village, yelling out their names and then revealing to them the desecration of their ancestors and the ill fate of their families, the pure enjoyment in his eyes as he witnessed their suffering; he realized that evil was real and compelling to all. He realized then, and later, that there was a constant war between greed and giving that controlled the fate of man. He understood what evil was, where it stemmed from, and how it could never be cured. At this point, he did not give up on the human race. Instead, he looked upon the back of the man that so reveled in terror, and he knew that his time would come.

THE UNDEAD Summon Information XXX Necromancy is the art of the forbidden. In the form of Ninjutsu, it is restricted and kept far away from mortal hands. It is a part of a code of honor. More than that, it is to prevent the dark spirits attached to the undead from ever slipping into and wreaking havoc on the world. Unfortunately, no matter how many restraints are placed on such an art, and no matter how many secrets obscure it, the art will always be discovered and always be re-utilized in an attempt to unleash its ill magics.
This ability runs in blood that has been soaked by darkness. Only the pure evil could ever utilize necromancy. They must sign a contract with a Godless monster, whisper with the dark secrets for the remainder of their life, and feel no fear nor quarrel.

The Heartstealer is a powerful genjutsuist and physical fighter with the ability to revive himself from the dead at full health consistently in a fight. He is very perceptive, agile, and very cunning in how he battles. He has no special techniques of his own outside of his reviving and eye-contact killing, but is still a deadly summon nonetheless, especially at higher ranks.
In life, he was a man named Jericho Cher, a spy for Kusagakure. His greatest feat was the seduction of the liege of House Ryukyu, before poisoning her along with half of her dynasty and killing them in one dinner sitting. He was eventually caught and killed, but not before causing complete anarchy within the Water Country.

The Conspirator is a lightning witch with some very particular uses. If the summoner ever manages to obtain his opponent's blood, they are virtually doomed.
In life, she was the wife of the founding member of the Uchiha Clan, all the meanwhile engaging in a plot to murder him and steal his Mangekyo Sharingan. She succeeded, becoming the first person to unlock the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Her name was Meika Uchiha, the first of many dubious members to corrupt the Uchiha clan into a collection of power-grubbing monsters.

A powerful frontline summon. She is highly agile and brutally powerful, easily rivaling a Taijutsu master.
In life, she was Honma Chuuko, a powerful bodyguard to an evil Karnata Emperor, back at the height of their dynasty. She would be sent to provinces to restore order by means of hunting and butchering dissenting citizens, even publicly displaying power by murdering children and beheading the adult males of communities to instill fear. Eventually, she turned on the Emperor to end his madness, only to be struck down by a bolt of natural lightning.

He can also send blasts of kinetic energy out from his fists consistently throughout combat; these decay organics and synthetics that they touch xxxxxx• His sword strikes can break through chakra-enhanced weapons xxxxxx• Gains one special ability for each person killed by the contractor; these are passive, very powerful, and limitless in their diversity
An unbearably powerful summon who can maintain pressure on the opponent for the entirety of a fight. He is virtually always in their face, assaulting them and waiting for the opportune moment to kill them.
The Contract is the demon that the summoner signs with. He is an extremely enigmatic creature. However, he too lived a life once: he was Evander Heiland, the origin of Psycho power and the first victim of the Enemy. Before his death, he cast a powerful forbidden technique on himself to ensure his continued existence, one that forsook his soul and turned him into an immortal entity. He is a true remnant of the Ancient World, and he continues to search for undead warriors with whom to expand his unorthodox Empire.
XXXX《 The Hoplite: 55 Chakra 《 xxxxxx• 6'3", 217 lbs, Chakra Point Ratio 1.50 (225, 300, 375) xxxxxx• Strength at Sannin: 8 xxxxxx• Speed at Sannin: 10 xxxxxx• Fades in and out from battle; he is constantly at the side of the summoner, waiting to defend them from enemies. When an enemy draws near or attacks his summoner, he will use an ability to protect his ally. After the summoner is safe, or under immediate risk to his own life, he will fade out again and become invulnerable. xxxxxx• His abilities are duration based, not rank based. This means that they cannot be destroyed until their duration is over. However, they also cannot destroy enemy techniques. This makes his assistance somewhat situational. xxxxxx• For every opponent killed by the contractor, even before obtaining the contract, the Hoplite gains a one post extended duration on all duration abilities. They are listed in the spoiler.
Tetsudo [20] - The Hoplite will guard his summoner with an energy-based, transparent shield, protecting them from physical harm for five posts. This also dramatically decreases damage taken by techniques. It appears as if he is wielding the shield, and he is capable of slipping through the summoner's body to increase his utility.
Antissa [30] - This ability absorbs incoming attacks sent by opponents (and the technique attacked to them), up to three. For the duration of this ability [3 posts], they will completely fade to non-existence, simply absorbed by his winged shield. At the end of this ability, the summoner must choose which of the techniques they wish to truly destroy, with the others being unleashed again by their caster (at no cost to the caster). This shield acts as a vacuum, and so virtually any technique will be pulled into it.
By using the chakra for Antissa again with the techniques already subdued in the shield, you may choose to destroy more than one, although at the cost of double chakra expended.
Valle [20] - The Hoplite will throw out a spiritual chain, first being drawn out and aimed by his arms, then being whipped out and reaching its destination almost instantly. If the enemy manages to be caught by this chain, all of their energy will be completely absorbed and given to the contractor for the next twenty posts. They will shrivel up and die without chance. The chain will completely subdue and paralyze them upon contact.
Hasta [0] - The Hoplite will throw a spear attached to a long grappling chain. This chain is indeed Valle, though it will not be innervated with chakra until the spear impacts an enemy. After running through the foe, the chain will activate as usual and decay their body. Hasta is less quick and less precise than Valle, but considering it can be used over and over again in a fight, it is very useful for projectile damage as well as potentially locking and killing an opponent. One can be thrown per post, and they are extremely quick. These spears possess a spiritual energy that prevents them from being halted by techniques, so they [must] be dodged.
The Hoplite is an extremely useful companion, providing both near-perfect defenses and the potential to instantly kill an opponent. He may also materialize and fight physical combat with his powerful spear and shield. The spear can ignore techniques and the shield can draw them in, this combination making him similarly as annoying as the Contract in combat. He is the most powerful summon, quite positively, until the Contract has gained some of his abilities.
In life, he was Tehran Lee, one of the most powerful warlords in history. He discovered his own distinctive fighting style that utilized chakra but did not depend on it, and he was quite possibly capable of killing virtually any shinobi alive at that time period. He was known for his exceptional honor, his pride and his ability to instill morale in his soldiers, as well as his great public speaking abilities and his skill at persuasion. Tehran would carve out the strongest Dynasty to the West: the Sassai'i, a nation that terrorized and razed cities within the Five Great Nations for hundreds of years.
This summon has been chosen as the Perfect Sage by Shinsei Karnata. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Sage Mode: Unlocking sage mode is as simple as signing a second contract upon reaching Sannin rank. You commune with the undead, and consent that upon your death, you will become one with Evander's Horde. This will create a spiritual connection between you and your summons, thus unlocking sage mode. Imperfect will be capable with any summon. For perfect, you may choose which summon you will be able to perform it with. If that summon has been chosen as the Perfect Sage by another summoner, you must choose a different one.
Imperfect Sage Mode: By meditating in stillness for two posts, the Imperfect Sage Mode will be unleashed for the next fifteen posts. In this mode, you and your summon have your base stats increased by +1/+1. You also gain an extremely powerful ability: Death Feedback.
Death Feedback makes it so that if an enemy is consciously aware that they are attempting to hurt you, they will enter a state of panic and hysteria. As a side effect of this, most people will feel an extremely strong inhibition from attacking or trying to hurt you, simply summing it up as a "bad feeling". If they actually manage to land a blow on you, they will become extremely sick and will start to manifest heart and breathing issues. If they kill you in this state, they will go into cardiac arrest and die shortly after.
Perfect Sage Mode: By meditating in stillness for three posts, you and your chosen Perfect Sage will gain a bonus of +2/+2 base stats, and you will both gain Death Feedback. On top of this, the summoner will enter a state of "undeadness" for the span of this sage mode (15 posts), causing them to become incapable of death by normal means, regenerate quickly, and have extremely acute senses. They will be able to, for example, precisely detect the exact number that represents an opponent's heart rate. The summoner's eyes will also begin to glow and reveal invisible objects, as well as the opponent's chakra network.
As an end-all to this Sage Mode, the summoner is changed forever, becoming extremely attuned to his chosen Perfect Sage; he will become capable of telepathy with this creature (thus can summon the creature without the blood seal), they will be able to see through each other's eyes, and one may manifest while the other will remain somewhat outside of the realm of space. This means that, basically, they can swap lives and apply their collective thoughts to any situation. They become bonded in their state of undead fervor.
The Strengths and Weaknesses of the Undead
xxxxxx• Unlike common myth, fire is no more scary to them than any other technique.
xxxxxx• Medical jutsu will not work on the undead, but may work on a Perfect Sage undead or their summoner.
xxxxxx• Only one may be present at a time. You will not need to pay the cost to re-summon a summon if you send them away in the span of the same battle.
Notes on the summon
xxxxxx• The Contract will approach you in your sleep and beseech your interest. Upon awakening if you declare interest, the man (Evander) will approach you and discuss the terms of the contract. If you decline the contract, he will never speak to you or see you ever again, unless utilized by his summoner.
xxxxxx• The undead do not seem undead. In fact, they are virtually indistinguishable from other humans, preserved to perfection. They have a pulse, their blood flows, heart beats. They're not cold or unusually pale. The largest difference is that if you enter their head, you won't find a brain, but a mass of energy running through a bizarre set of nerves.
xxxxxx• The undead are not cruel or malicious. In fact, they're fairly pleasant with their summoner, considering them as "a part of the Horde". They are not really that obedient however, still possessing a strong free will with the ability to make their own decisions.
xxxxxx• They like to be summoned. They will not get upset at random summonings.
xxxxxx• Their summoning land is somewhere within the Water Country, a secluded island with a growing nation of undead warriors. The summons are the Generals among them, with other undead being too insignificant to form a contract with.
xxxxxx• Upon unlocking Perfect Sage Mode, you gain the ability to transport yourself to their secluded island outside of combat. You also gain similarities to the undead, namely the desire to empower the Horde, a distinct decrease in negative emotions such as sadness and pessimism, and the preservation of your flesh: you will no longer age.

Background Info: Step One: Mother
Why, Kleine? She asked me. Why? I asked. Why not? My blade finished her. All of her years of life, thirty six in counting, all of her hopes and dreams... they vanished as her eyes died and the blood cooled to a freeze. It was ******** hot. It was a moment that I will remember for all my days to come. It is something I recall while the boys of the village pleasure me as a mercy before their fleeting lives come to an end, though none of them expect it until it's over.
That moment was the one where I, Kleine, killed my mother. And she was just the first.
Some time ago I realized that I've been sent here by something greater than what I am. Something greater than life, a being that brings light and spreads plague and revels in the blood -- the pain -- of the insects that call themselves women and men. They don't fear anything. They think they are supreme. But they haven't seen me coming, yet, a rising star from the ashes of the old world.
Humanity will receive a grave reminder indeed, as the billions lay dying and in need.
- - - Step Zero: Before
But how is that possible, father?
Some things are beyond our reasoning. Not everything is designed by people. The sea, the plains, the sky above - it's all a gift to us from something greater.
From God?
You can believe so if you want. I believe so, but that's my choice. You'll make your choice as well one day, Kleine. Whether you want to believe in a celestine above, or the men below who walk the plains, that is your decision.
He remembered that moment. It was serene, but not because of the fields, the winds or the night sky. It was serene because it was the moment where he made peace with God. It was the moment where he decided to believe in something greater than himself. At first he believed it was benevolent. For years he did, gazing at the beauty that followed his steps. He looked to the tree of life, to the mountains, the waterfalls and the men and women who danced in the breeze. How could God not be good? Such a naive question. He looked in front of him, at some point, and he did not see the same as before. He saw blood, and pain, and fear. He looked to the corruption in people, corruption that would spread to every single person around them. If you did not want to be destroyed, you had to be strong, in some way.
Some liked to use others, or be used by others, or kill others or mend others illnesses. They fought for knowledge, power or both, or simply the ability to manipulate the people around them. Everyone survived in some way. Some by clinging to their families. Humans conformed and conformed and changed every single thing about them in the game of life and death. They moved from their nature. And all because they feared the wrath of God; inevitably, life and death were not constructs that were designed by men. They were far too powerful, far too dark and yet often benign, to be something that we created for ourselves and in ourselves. It was the work of a God, whether sentient or not. Whatever the case, they did not dance in the breeze because they enjoyed it. They did not smile and laugh because they wanted to. But because they needed to. It was a reprieve from the constant battle that they fought, it was a momentary release, an escape from the specter that stood over them all: the end.
When he realized this, there was a distinct change in him. He did not pray any more, not with words or clasped hands at least. He prayed by offering of others, wondering if perhaps a celestial hand would reach out to greet him. He was anxious, eager, to see what lied beyond the great door where souls collided with a realm unknown to them. But the voice was silent, and he was left alone.
He began to realize that God must be asleep. How else could it simply sit back and watch? It would want to be a part of the world. It would play with its toys. It was too dark for a passive, benevolent existence beyond the screen door. He knew of it. He felt it. It was not ancient wisdom, but a human intuition that recalled something important: that emotion was inescapable, even by a God. Even such a creature must have desires, needs. Unless it was incapable of them.
His relationship with this entity grew. It grew on him like a great set of scars that twisted him and blackened his heart like how his father's once was, back in those ill and dreaded days that he remembered so clearly. Shahnz. Father. An evil man, a wicked creature. So full of lust and need that even Kleine's variation of the Almighty could not compete. He was a betrayer, a monster, a wicked servant of sin. There was no one that could surpass him in those areas. Except, of course, a child from his own body. Kleine inherited the sins of his father, indeed. His mother too, the whore that whipped herself with her own zeal until she crippled her ability to reason. In the union of the two, an ultimate blackness was created, and one that would come to consume him.
Kleine, why?
They both asked the same question. Both of them knew the answer and yet they asked. Perhaps it was a desperate plead to God to help them see why their own son would betray them like that. Perhaps it was that a dying mind could not articulate. Either way he gave the same answer. Because I can. Because I want to. Was that not the only reason he needed? It was God's reason. His ultimate rolemodel followed no rules, and so neither would he. He was not the slave of such a creature, just the spawn of it.
The Dancing Plains, that was where he took his father's life. That creature slithered and screamed as his skin was ripped from his flesh. He was a Divine Beast, a creature of great prestige. A man who would live for all time if his life had not been stripped away. More, an Uchiha. A strange one at that, but powerful. He had murdered his own best friend for a new pair of eyes. Perhaps he did not realize, however, that all power was a curse as well as a gift. In his hubris he did not see that the one closest to him was the only one who would ever manage to destroy him.
He remembered spreading the man's corpse across this field. Yes, it was so dark but he could see the color perfectly; red, brown, a burgundy. It was a mixture of the organs, the flesh, the blood. He desired to see that color again.

Strength: Brutal power; lots of energy and bonus strength in attacks, bizarre abilities such as reality manipulation Weakness: Lack of diversity
↬ Kleine is afraid of death, despite what he may say on the matter. He does not want to die, and would do anything to prevent it.
Rank: SS Class: Taijutsu Bloodline: Midnight Affair
Ability - Hades:"Kaisou" - The ability of this Mangekyō Sharingan differs from its brethern. The occular prowess transforms the Sharingan into a ripple effect as the tomoes split into equal fitting, while adding three above it. This Mangekyō power steps into the boundaries of an equal domain of reality, while it seems as it is bending time - space it is acheiving a stepping stone for the words of "Equivalent Exchange." This means that something cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value, something must be lost or in this case "replaced". In the focal point of the host of the Mangekyō Sharingan, the Uchiha can focus on a object that is seen, or will be seen, and can voluntarily take its place. The object that is switched is moved to the position of the host, while the user is moved into the position of the object. This occurs by focusing into a creation - object into a certain distance that the Mangekyō Sharingan can view, and by pinpointing its direct location can the user forcefully remove both theirself and object into switching places. Nothing is created nor destroyed.
Ability - Armand:"Shousou" - This ability begins with the Eternal Mangekyo spinning rapidly, and with only the desire to use the technique, it is cast. It is the inverse of Kaisou, allowing the mangekyo user to redirect all damage onto their physical body into whichever object they designated, rather than teleporting to it. While this is active, attacking their body really only seems like slipping through them pointlessly. The object they designated simply takes all of the damage even if it is apparently 'destroyed'; if the damage continues, it will perhaps be pummeled into the molecular level, but it does not relent in exchanging its fortitude for the user's.
Restraints: • This ability can only be used once in a post, with a two post cooldown. You can only use one of the two abilities during the post. • This cannot be used on: Humans or RPCs in general, summonings, pets, techniques - jutsu, worn clothing, and custom weapons [ That are not created from the host of this ability ]. • Cannot use this ability on larger objects than the Uchiha
How to Unlock: - Driven by the intense mental stimulation/anguish and fear by Hysteria's presence in his life. This feeling is so compelling to Kleine that it's similar in magnitude enough to watching a best friend die that it unlocked his mangekyo. Then, he fused Hades' with it.

xxxxxxxxxxMIDNIGHT AFFAIR [ Get wrecked, scrub. ]
xxxxxHISTORY An ancient order of a**-kickers and name-takers. The members of the Midnight Affair Crew come from a singular bloodline with an ancestor dating back to the days of the Sassai'i. During this turbulent era, one man from Kusagakure asked his Shogun, simply: if ninjutsu does not work on the Sassai'i, why not beat their a**?
And thus an era of nen-amplified taijutsu began; this particular kekkei genkai was placed into the spotlight and developed upon further.
xxxxxDESCRIPTION Physical fighters with a multitude of mechanisms with which to dominate their foes. A nin-hunting bloodline that totally dominates the meta of high chakra and wide-scale ninjutsu attacks. A very diverse fighting bloodline that uses Nen as an internal energy source, and Poison as an external killing mechanism.
xxxxxRULES • You are of the Taijutsu Sage Class. Same physical stats and style allocation as the Tai class; in fact, the only difference is the energy boost. • No chakra. You have Nen. But, flat energy boosts can be applied to Nen. • "Sworn Enemies" must be clearly stated in your post. • All BL techniques are taijutsu.
xxxxxWEAKNESSES • No bloodlines, clans, demons, etc but this one; you may have an implant, but that is all. Like the Psycho Demons, this is a very restrictive bloodline. • Bloodline Crusher. Even though with Nen Sense you can generally avoid looking at people you're fighting, you're gonna have to make contact eventually in order to kill someone... • You have little destructive capability; all of your power is based around the ability to focus on and dispatch one target very relentlessly. Against multiple opponents, you suffer.
xxxxxSTRENGTHS • While battling your Sworn Foe (attacking, defending, dodging, etc) you have a +2/+2 base to both stats. • Taijutsu and weapon styles both cost no Nen to maintain unless 3 or more are active at the same time. At which case, every style past the 2nd will cost Nen. • All weapon styles may now be used with your fists. • +2 Base to a stat of your choosing. • Your rank damage reduction is one rank stronger than usual; this makes you quite a tank at higher ranks, with most attacks unable to hurt you.
xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES • NEN Nen is a form of natural energy, or Senjutsu. It scales with rank, just like chakra. Essentially, it is chakra that is amplified by the surrounding area and it vaccuums chakra from Sworn Foes. Gennin - 150 Nen Chuunin - 200 Nen Jounin - 250 Nen Sannin - 300 Nen Kage - 400 Nen
By deciding a Sworn Foe, you may absorb up to 33% of the chakra used by them in a battle. So, if they were to use 100 Chakra in a post, you will siphon 30 of that. You may switch Sworn Foes twice in one battle, and three times once you hit S rank. Nen appears as white-gold energy. It is visible when absorbing enemy energy or using Nen-based techniques (specific techniques within the bloodline). Daiten and Nen are both considered "chakra"; but NE from Sage Mode is not.
• NEN SENSE Midnight brawlers are capable of using their senjutsu energy to detect muscle movements, swelling chakra, and other such things generally seen from high level dojutsu. They can also detect pressure points and organs within someone's body, making their punches absurdly lethal.
xxxxxTECHNIQUES • Caltrops Passive, but Activated Caltropsobjects that can be created by a Midnight Brawler at will. This is one aspect that makes it clear that these techniques come from a hereditary line, or a bloodline. Caltrops can be weaved in the palms of the Midnight Brawler. These objects are generally left all around the field throughout the battle, and do not hurt or impair the Midnight Brawler, but can easily hurt and impair enemies. The caltrops are always poisoned and can easily penetrate even thick boots to stab into someone's feet. The poison can weaken the legs of the target, slowing them by 2 speed and also inflicting pain and infection; these issues will not kill you in battle, but will render you weaker and nauseous. Throughout the battle, more and more will cover the field, thus walking becomes nearly impossible without being constantly wounded. The strings are also laid around the field, connecting from tree to tree; etc. These strings can cut or bind people. Dashing quickly between trees or walls, these strings could easily rip your throat open.
• Come to Papa D-S This ability unleashes a large net from the Midnight Brawler's fist, the net propelling forward and immediately paralyzing anything that so much as faintly grazes it. The net is extremely sticky to foreign objects and so will most definitely attach to them, as well.
At higher ranks, the net grows to be massive. At S and SS rank, the net will be nearly impossible to dodge due to its massive size. It may also have multiple levels, though it will sacrifice in width if that's the case. The net can be thrown, grabbed, dragged along, etc. At A rank and beyond, the net is seeped with lethal poison; the net becomes sharp and barbed, with the poison leaking into prey. The poison kills in 4 posts at A, 2 at S, and nearly instantly at SS.
You [always] pull the target in once you've netted them. The paralysis will last for a few seconds longer after you've managed to pull them in.
The net increases in speed at higher ranks. At the max rank it will be about as large as throwing out a large house-sized net; at lower ranks, it will be as large as a blanket. Adds a light chaser.
• Nen Strike D-S This ability is generally defensive. It augments your fists with a thick energy that will dismantle techniques of equal or lower rank for the duration of a post. This energy is also strong enough to inflict lethal wounds, but the general usage is defense. This technique will also slow down enemy techniques within a fifteen foot radius while it is active; this prevents them from being able to avoid the punch. This can only work on two techniques in its post, and will go on cooldown for one post longer if it destroys two. Adds a fire chaser.
• Nen Vacuum D-S This ability has the same premise of Nen Strike, but instead of working as fists to dismantle techniques, it vacuums in an entire selected technique and dismantles it. This is meant to be used against techniques that are split into thousands of different projectiles. Adds an aqua chaser.
• Super Armor D This is active for five posts. While it is active, a golden aura appears around the Midnight Brawler. This does not actually weaken techniques, but makes the Midnight Brawler immune to recoil, pain, flinching, or generally being moved by techniques. They'll still take the hit, but will pretty much be able to ignore its effects for the time being. Adds a shadow chaser.
• Nen Grapple B-S This ability is fast and lethal. All the enemy will see is a swirl around the user in a twenty foot diameter. If the enemy manages to touch this swirl - even through a suit of armor or a defensive technique - they will be grabbed by a Nen clone that will raise them high into the skies before sending them plummeting against the ground, a massive shockwave likely breaking all of their bones if not killing them. This can also be used to grab hostile techniques and dismantle them. While grabbed, the enemy is paralyzed; the attack will go through. Adds an aqua chaser.
• Nen Innervate B-S This allows you to shape and manipulate Nen to create shields, blasts, beams, images, so on and so forth; anything in the realm of reality may be done. Higher ranks equals larger and more mechanically adaptive techniques. Adds a fire chaser.
• Phantom Pummel B-S This ability will send a Nen Clone forward, extremely quickly; it moves at the speed of a blur and will bash through techniques of equal or lower rank on lieu of its destination. It will continue to run at its target until it is caught or until two posts end. Regardless, once it catches its target, it will jump them, throw them against the ground, and then proceed to smash its fists against their face (or any other part of their body) for nearly a minute until the clone's grows exhausted. Defenseless enemies will certainly die from this technique. Phantom Pummel can only bash through one equal ranked technique on its path to the opponent. On impact with the opponent, it will act as usual; if they have a defensive technique or release an offensive technique, Phantom Pummel and that technique will destroy each other assuming they're equal ranked. Adds a light chaser.
• Final Toss B-S This technique is diverse. You can grab virtually anything with it (a person, a technique, an object) and will then proceed to throw it across a vast expanse with Nen-enhanced strength. The rank will determine the distance. At A rank, the target will be thrown a kilometer . . . at SS, nearly two miles. Once the target reaches that distance, it will collide with an energy wall and face all the damage that could come with being catapulted across a country. This can also be targeted to face specific people. For example, if you grab someone's technique, you may throw it back at them (targeting them) at extreme speeds and then detonate the effect once it nears them. Or, it could collide with them and most likely kill them.
This technique is as simple to activate as making contact with someone or something. Once that happens, they are helpless but to be thrown to the exact distance and face their collision. This cannot work on techniques of a higher rank. The opponent can use chakra while flying, but it will hit its final destination. Adds a fire chaser.
• Soul Chaser A This ability ports you to a space exactly ten feet away from your Sworn Foe. Within the next three posts, if you decide to, you can teleport back to where you were. Adds a light chaser.
• Nen Clone - XX S This technique will summon twenty Nen Clones that will chase the target at the user's speed, then proceed to explode into a burst of blue flames and highly volatile energy. SS rank defenses will protect against the blast, but will proceed to crack and dissipate shortly afterwards. Luckily, the clones tend to explode all at once and thus you can generally protect against this technique. Nen Clones may be thrown for free by Final Toss. Adds two light chasers.
• Nen Dragon S The Nen Dragon is a transformation for the Midnight Brawler. It will appear as a field of white-blue energy around them, and it will offer them several abilities. It will allow them to fly, it will allow them the ability to perceive chakra as energy (decipher elements and uncover weaknesses), it will allow them to apply kinetic energy through their punches and kicks (massively increasing damage) and will also allow them to more deeply connect to Senjutsu, sensing hostile energy as well as the location of far-off people (detect escaping and concealing enemies, see through genjutsu meaning you know you're in one; doesn't mean you can Kai out). This lasts for seven posts and can be re-applied five posts after it's finished. Adds two light chasers.
• Born to Die S Once per fight, the Midnight Brawler may coat themselves in thick blue energy. This is a sign to the enemy, but a sign to what? This makes the user completely immune to all damage for the duration of a post. This is an indefinite save from death once per fight. Adds two shadow chasers.
• The Ninth Gate SS The Ninth Gate is a technique that is activated by, essentially, unlocking the filter of Nen into your body. It allows all of the Nen surrounding you to be absorbed, not simply healthy Nen or good Nen. For the duration of five posts, you will gain a purple-black energy shroud as an outline to your flesh; you'll become impervious to SS rank damage, and will also corrupt and age anything that you touch. Unfiltered Nen is similar to Natural Energy in that if an object cannot control it, or has not learned to, it will immediately transform and die. If you so much as contact an enemy in this state, the Nen will enter their body and destroy them. You will also be able to expand this purple-black field to cover you for up to fifteen feet in diameter. Anything that touches this field will begin to decay. Also, all enemies become "Sworn Enemies" for the duration of this technique, but this does not augment your stats, only Nen.
This ability can only be used once per fight, and has a month long cooldown. If it were to be used more than once within that month, the Midnight Brawler would die as soon as it ended. You cannot use any techniques while the Ninth Gate is active. You cannot break through SS rank barriers. This is best used against unsuspecting foes. Adds a light chaser, fire chaser, shadow chaser, and wind chaser.
xxxxxADDITIONAL NOTES Chasers Light Chaser - Increased Speed. +1 base for 3 posts. Fire Chaser - Increased Strength. +2 base for 2 posts. Shadow Chaser - Increased perception. Muscle Reaction for 2 posts. Aqua Chaser - Increased Sworn Foe chakra generation - 5%. Wind Chaser - Slightly heals the Midnight Brawler.
Chasers are balls of energy that follow around the Midnight Affair for five posts after generated; you can consume them at any time to gain these bonuses. Consuming is as simple as willing it to happen.
You may have three chasers active at once; chasers of the same type can't stack.

The Big Bang: 13.8 Billion Years Ago/BC
Before the Big Bang, the universe was in a very high density state. 13.8 Billion Years ago, the universe rapidly expanded from its compressed state. Approximately 10−37 seconds into the expansion, a phase transition caused a cosmic inflation, during which the Universe grew exponentially. The universe continued to decrease in density and fall in temperature, hence the typical energy of each particle was decreasing. After about 10−11 seconds, the picture becomes less speculative, since particle energies drop to values that can be attained in particle physics experiments. At about 10−6 seconds, quarks and gluons combined to form baryons such as protons and neutrons.
The Sun: 4.6 Billion Years Ago/BC
The sun was born around 4.6 billion years ago – possibly due to a giant, rotating cloud of gas and dust known as the solar nebula. As the nebula collapsed because of its gravity, it spun faster and flattened into a disk. Most of the material was pulled toward the center to form the sun. In the course of about 50 million years, the sun and the rest of the solar system began to near their early form of completion.
The Earth: 4.54 Billion Years Ago/BC
The Earth formed around 4.54 billion years ago by accretion of the solar nebula. The Theia Impact states that the Moon was formed out of the debris left over from an indirect collision between the Earth and an astronomical body the size of Mars, approximately 4.5 billion years ago. By zapping single atoms of lead in a tiny zircon crystal from Australia, researchers have confirmed the crystal is the oldest rock fragment ever found on Earth — 4.375 billion years old, plus or minus 6 million years. The first life forms emerged around 3.8 to 3.5 billion years ago. The earliest evidence of life comes in the form of graphite found to be biogenic in 3.7 billion year old rocks.
The Heavy Bombardment: 4.1-2.5 Billion Years Ago/BC
A disproportionately large number of asteroids collided with the early terrestrial planets in the inner solar system, including Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. The Nice Model postulates that the gas giants planets underwent orbital migration and scattered objects in the asteroid and/or Kuiper belt into eccentric orbits, and thereby into the path of the terrestrial planets. The late heavy bombardment lasts for about 1.5 billion years.
Evolution of Life: 3.6 Billion Years Ago-475 Mya/BC
In its 4.6 billion years circling the sun, the Earth and its life forms have increased in diversity. For the last 3.6 billion years, simple cells (prokaryotes); For the last 3.4 billion years, cyanobacteria performing photosynthesis; For the last 2 billion years, complex cells (eukaryotes); For the last 1.2 billion years, eukaryotes which sexually reproduce; For the last 1 billion years, multicellular life; For the last 600 million years, simple animals; For the last 550 million years, bilaterians, water life forms with a front and a back; For the last 500 million years, fish and proto-amphibians; For the last 475 million years, land plants
Neoproterozoic Era Tonian Period: 1000 to 850 Mya/BC
Cryogenian Period, 800-635 Million Years Ago/BC
The second geologic period of the Neoproterozoic Era, preceded by the Tonian Period. The Sturtian and Marinoan Glaciations, which are the greatest ice ages known to have occurred on Earth, occurred during this period. 760 Mya, the first sponge-like animal appears 750 Mya, the Kaigas glaciation begins
Snowball Earth: 750-635 Million Years Ago BC
The “Snowball Earth” period consists of extremely long ice ages, beginning with the Kaigas glaciation. Around 720 Million Years Ago, the Sturtian glaciation begins, the longest Ice Age in history. 660 Million Years Ago, the Sturtian glaciation ends. The Marinoan Glaciation begins around 650 Million Years ago, an Ice Age that may have covered the entire planet, thus “Snowball Earth” After 15 million years, the Marinoan Glaciation Ends, possibly due to methane from equatorial permafrost.
Ediacaran Period: 635-541 Million Years Ago/BC
The Ediacaran Period is the last geological period of the Neoproterozoic Era and of the Proterozoic Eon, beginning 635 Mya Fossil embryos begin to appear, 620-580 Million Years Ago The organisms of this Era first began to appear around 600 Mya, flourishing until the beginning of the Cambrian 542 Mya. Ediacara Biota appeared; consisting of enigmatic tubular and frond-shaped, mostly sessile organisms that lived during this period. Gaskiers glaciation begins 585 Million Years Ago, and is the last glaciation of the Precambrian Era
Paleozoic Era Camrbian Period Begins: 541-485 Mya/BC
The Cambrian, beginning around 540 Million Years Ago, is the first geological period of the Paleozoic Era, lasting around 60 million years. Treptichnus pedum appears at the beginning of this time period. This is the earliest widespread complex trace fossil, dividing the line between the Cambrian and the Ediacaran periods. The Cambrian Period marked a profound change in life on Earth; prior to the Cambrian, living organisms on the whole were small, unicellular and simple. Around 535 Mya, the first halkieriids, molluscs, hyoliths and small shelly fauna appear. Small shelly fauna diversification, first brachiopods and archaeocyatha 530 Million Years Ago 520 Mya: First Trilobites, a fossil group of marine anthropods
Ordovician Period: 485-443 Million Years Ago/BC
The Ordovician Era begins around 485 Million Years Ago, the second of six Era in the Paleozoic Era. Life continued to flourish during the Ordovician as it did in the Cambrian, although the end of the period was marked by a significant extinction. Invertebrates, namely mollusks and anthropods, dominated the oceans. Fish – the world’s first true vertebrates – continued to evolve, and may have developed jaws late in the period (450~ Mya). The Ordovician extinction events occurred between 447 to 443 Mya, two extinctions with a break of 4 million years At the time, most complex multicellular organisms lived in the sea, and around 100 marine families became extinct, covering about 49% of faunal genera (a more reliable estimate than species).
Silurian Period: 443-419 Million Years Ago/BC
The Silurian Period is a geologic period beginning around 443 Mya. As with other geologic periods, the rock beds that define the period’s start and end are well identified, with hazy exact dates. The base of the Silurian Period follows the Ordovician-Silurian extinction events, where 60% of marine species were wiped out. A significant evolutionary milestone occurred during this time period, with fish diversifying with jawed, bony fish coming about. The date for this is unknown. Three minor extinction events occurred during this period, starting with the Ireviken around 433 Mya. The event is best recorded at Ireviken, Gotland, where over 50% of trilobite species went extinct; 80% of the global conodont species also become extinct in this interval. The Mulde event occurred around 427 Mya. This coincided with a global drop in sea level. The Lau event occurred around 423 Mya. This event was the last of three relatively minor mass extinctions during the Silurian period, having a major effect on the conodont fauna (but barely scathing the graptolites). It coincided with a global low point in sea level, is closely followed by an excursion in geochemical isotopes in the ensuing late Ludfordian faunal stage and a change in depositional regime.
Evolution of Life, part 2: 400 Million Years Ago/BC
For the last 400 million years, insects and seeds; For the last 360 million years, amphibians; For the last 300 million years, reptiles; For the last 200 million years, mammals; For the last 150 million years, birds; For the last 130 million years, flowers; For the last 60 million years, the primates, For the last 20 million years, the family Hominidae (great apes); For the last 2.5 million years, the genus Homo (including humans and their predecessors)
Carboniferous Period: 358-298 Million Years Ago/BC
Around 360 Million Years Ago, Romer’s Gap begins. Romer's gap is an example of an apparent gap in the tetrapod fossil record used in the study of evolutionary biology. Such gaps represent periods from which excavators have not yet found relevant fossils. 345 Mya: Romer’s gap ends. The Carboniferous Rainforest Collapse occurs. This is an extinction event that occurred around 305 million years ago. It altered the vast coal forests that covered the equatorial region of Euramerica. This event quite likely fragmented the forests into isolated 'islands', which in turn caused the extinction of many plant and animal species. After the event, coal-forming tropical forests did continue in large areas of the earth, but their extent and composition were changed. The era ends around the time where Pangea forms, a massive continuous land mass with all seven continents unified into one.
Permian Period: 298-252 Million Years Ago/BC
The Permian Period begins around 300 million years ago, post rainforest-collapse, and dominated by the supercontinent of Pangea, surrounded by a global ocean known as Panthalassa. Around the beginning of this era, the extensive rainforests of the Carboniferous disappeared, leaving massive amounts of dry and arid deserts in the continent interior. Amniotes (first appearing 312 Mya), who could better cope with these drier conditions, rose to dominance in lieu of their amphibian ancestors. This era ends with the largest mass-extinction event in the world’s history, where nearly 90% of marine species and 70% of terrestrial species died out. This mass extinction occurred due to a slew of catastrophic events involving gas, volcanic eruption, so on and so forth ad nauseum. The Karoo Ice Age Period ends 260 Mya.
Mesozoic Era Triassic Period: 252-201 Mya/BC
After the significant events of the Permian Era and the mass-extinction that signaled the end of said era, the Triassic Period began around 252 Million Years Ago. Around 245 Mya, woody trees fully recover from the catastrophes of the previous era. Coals recover around 242 Mya. Corals and calcified sponges appear around 240 Mya. Around 231 million years ago, dinosaurs first appeared. This massive species group (dinosaurian) that would then go on to dominate the earth for around 135 million years. For much of the early stages of the Triassic Period, life was sporadic. Life on earth did not recover from this cataclysmic event until around the middle of the Triassic Period, nearly 30 million years after the extinction event.
Jurassic Period: 201-145 Million Years Ago/BC
By the beginning of the Jurassic, the supercontinent Pangea had begun rifting into two landmasses, Laurasia to the north and Gondwana to the south. Much of the landmark events of this period occurred at its very beginning. The split of Pangea created more coastlines and shifted the continental climate from dry to humid, and many of the arid deserts of the Triassic were replaced by lush rainforests. On land, the fauna transitioned from the Triassic fauna, dominated by both dinosauromorph and crocodylomorph archosaurs, to one dominated by dinosaurs alone. Crocodylians made the transition from a terrestrial to an aquatic mode of life. The oceans were inhabited by marine reptiles such as ichythosaurs and plesiosaurs, while pterosaurs were the dominant flying vertebrates. One major event of this period involves the birth of the earliest lizards, around 199 Million Years Ago. As a large landmark event, the first birds began to appear in the Jurassic Period, around 160 Million Years Ago, evolving from a branch of theropod dinosaurs.
Cretaceous Period: 145-66 Million Years Ago
The Cretaceous was a period with a relatively warm climate, resulting in high eustatic sea levels and creating numerous shallow inland seas. This was ongoing throughout the period. The oceans and seas of the Cretaceous Period were populated with now-extinct marine reptiles, ammonites and rudists, while dinosaurs continued to dominate on land. During the early Cretaceous Period, new groups of mammals and birds, as well as flowering plants, appeared. The Cretaceous ended with a large mass extinction, the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event, in which many groups, including non-avian dinosaurs, pterosaurs and large marine reptiles, died out. This occurred around 66 Million Years Ago, and is a controversial topic with many theories regarding it. The Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event is an event in which three quarters of plant and animal species on Earth – including all non-avian dinosaurs – became extinct over a short period of time. One likely theory surrounding this event would be a meteorite impact that devastated the planet’s surface for a long period of time. This marks the end of the Mesozoic Era.
Cenozoic Era Paleogene-Neogene Periods: 66-2.5 Million Years Ago
The Cenozoic Era is the current and most recent of the three Phanerozoic geological eras, following the Mesozoic Era and covering the period from 66 million years ago to the present. Early in the Cenozoic, following the K-Pg extinction event, the planet was dominated by relatively small fauna, including small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. From a geological perspective, it did not take long for mammals and birds to greatly diversify in the absence of the large reptiles that had dominated during the Mesozoic. This diversification began to occur very early in the Cenozoic Era, around 63 Mya. Around 62.5 Million Years Ago, species of flightless birds larger than humans began to appear called “Phorusrhacids”. These birds were formidable predators. Early in the era (around the time of the “Phorusrhacids” and the diversification of animals) Mammals came to occupy nearly every inch of the world, both on land and in the ocean. Some of them became extremely large, sizes not even seen in today’s land-sea mammals. The Earth begins a drying and cooling trend near the middle and end of this Era, ultimately radicalizing into a series of final ice ages before the rise of the human-dominated world.
Final Ice Ages: 2.58 Mya – 11,700 Years Ago
The Final Ice Ages began during the early stages of the Quaternary Period, around 2.58 Million Years Ago At the time of the Pleistocene, the continents had moved to their current positions. At one point during the Ice Age, sheets of ice covered all of Antarctica, large parts of Europe, North America, and South America, and small areas in Asia. In North America they stretched over Greenland and Canada and parts of the northern United States. The remains of glaciers of the Ice Age can still be seen in parts of the world, including Greenland and Antarctica. There was a lot of movement over time, and there were about 20 cycles when the glaciers would advance and retreat as they thawed and refroze. Scientists identified the Pleistocene Epoch’s four key stages, or ages — Gelasian, Calabrian, Ionian and Tarantian. About 13,000 years ago, more than three-fourths of the large Ice Age animals, including woolly mammoths, mastodons, saber-toothed tigers and giant bears, died out. Scientists have debated for years over the cause of the extinction, with both of the major hypotheses — human overhunting and climate change — insufficient to account for the mega die-off. Recent research suggests that an extraterrestrial object, possibly a comet, about 3 miles wide, may have exploded over southern Canada, nearly wiping out an ancient Stone Age culture as well as megafauna like mastodons and mammoths. The final evolution of humans occurred during one of the final Ice Ages, around 200,000 years ago.
