The baker and Chaos met gazes after her innocent question, and when the well-dressed man nodded, the baker took out a cinnamon roll and handed it to her.

smiling happily, she quickly took a bite of it. "Mmmmmm" she hummed; her eyes widening at the rich flavors the sweet held. "Thank you for the yummy treat!" She smiled at both men, nibbling on her cinomin roll.

Smiling softly at her, Chaos ordered one more cinnamon roll along with two glasses of milk. Once given them, he paid the man and led Cybil to a nearby table. He set down the treats and sat across from her, taking a small bite of his bread.

sitting across from him, she gave a small sigh. "So... I have another question....." She mumbled, looking out the window as her legs moved the new fabrics covering them back and forth.

Chewing his bread slowly, Chaos looked up at Cybil expectantly.

"will you come visit me...? If you do find me a family?" She mumbled, sipping her milk carefully. "Please?" Her eyes turned back to him, wide and hopeful and filled with.... Innocence?

The young man blinked at the sudden question and slowly set the bread down. He wasn't quite sure how to handle the question, in all honestly. No one had ever asked him to visit them, not even his brother. He gave it thought. "Of course I will." he said with a comforting smile.

"okay!" smiling, she nodded and then went back to kicking her feet as she ate.

Smiling softly at her cheered attitude, Chaos set the his half-eaten bread down and picked up his glass of milk, taking a light drink. First off he's got to find Cybil's home.

nearly done with her cinnamon bun, Cybil set it down and gave a sigh. "....do you think you'll really find me a home.....?" she mumbled quietly, sounding slightly saddened all of a sudden.

The man looked at her with slight surprise, wondering if she had read his mind. "I am more than sure of it." he assured and smiled warmly with her. After another moment he finished his own food and stood up. "Now let us go find them." he said and held out his hand for her to take, his warm smile still there, but hidden by his scarf.

As done earlier, each of the families visited had obvious dysfunctional relationships that would only worsen a child's adolescence. Chaos slowly felt his own hope diminish again and some irritation showed on his twitching black eyebrow when a ray of luck came across them.
It was the last family, and they looked as if they came out of a fairytale. The mother was friendly, though she had deep wishes for women to have good jobs and rights; a feminist. She had two children, a playful thirteen-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl, both hyper yet obedient under their parents' wishes. The father was away at work very often, but always eager to see the family, at least according to the mother. Chaos had a difficult time believing the scene for a second. Was this real? A perfectly fine family?
"Well..." he said slowly, disbelief still in his tone. "It appears we've found your family, Cybil." he said and looked down at her to see her thoughts on it.

Nodding lightly, the child smiled sweetly and offered the wow n her hand to shake, which she did; springing one of Cybil's visions. What she saw brought a few tears to her eyes but she bit them back and kept her smile on. "Nice to meet you" she finally chimed, holding her hands behind her tightly now.

Chaos didn't notice the tears in her eyes, he only smiled and folded his arms behind his back. "Well then, Cybil," he said slowly with understanding in his frost blue eyes. "I suppose this is goodbye..." How bittersweet it was. He had only spent a day with the girl and grew a fondness towards her. Perhaps it was the lack of being social that made him so close to this girl, but what he did know was that parting was perhaps one of the worst things he ever went through. Today was no exception.
