"Nooo," she replied with an amused, sleepy smile, and reached up to try and push his finger back down. "No more. Too much thinking. Besides, cheesecake's better."

"Cheesecake. Cheesesteak. Muhhh." He frowned and folded his arms behind his head. "Yeah no more thinking."

She was briefly confused when her target had disappeared, and her hand fumbled about another moment before she gave up and pulled it back so she could wrap her arm around her pillow. "Mmmno," she mumbled, and would've shaken her head if she felt so inclined except that would've been an awful idea. Instead, she rolled onto her side and curled up before she repeated, "no more thinking." Thinking was too hard, anyway.

"Yeah," he murmured in agreement. "No more thinking."

"Mmm," was her fading response as her eyes tried to close, but she refused sleep a little longer so she could frown at Nate as she realized something. "You don't have a pillow," she pointed out in a sleepy mumble. Sleep, clearly, was not possible without one.

He lifted his head enough to wriggle his arms slightly, "Close enough."

"Mmmno." Her hand reached back to grope around before it found the corner of a pillow, which swiftly found a new home atop Nate's chest. There.

Nate stared momentarily at the pillow, then looked back to Sera, having made no move to place it properly beneath his head. "Perfect."

Had she been more awake, she might have attempted to put it under his head herself, but as she wasn't, she merely huffed lightly and wrapped her arm around her pillow again as her eyes finally closed. It didn't take long at all for her to drift off to sleep.

Sera could rest assured that the pillow would eventually find its way to the space beneath Nate's head, likely at some odd hour of the night once he realized his arms were starting to go numb.
