[RAID] Attack on Rocket

What? He had to walk over there? Ooooh...kaaaay then. It was the only way he had of getting across and Dolly might be badly hurt over there, and Sera was on her way over and so was Dove. He was needed over there.

Dith took a deep breath and stepped onto the smooth steel surface of the Steelix. He was no klutz but he was also no gymnast and he was well aware of the drop below him. Fixing his eyes on the opposite side the huge man started to make his way across, heart thundering in his chest. Every time he reached one of the steel outcrops he paused for a moment to hold onto it and get his nerve back again before continuing.

In reality it took Dith less than a minute to cross the chasm but when he stepped down the other side he felt as though he'd aged a decade.

Pastin had been knocked out, Rosie stood in surprise for a few seconds, staring at the unconscious form of her Rapidash,
One move, the Rocket only had to order the pokemon to do one move, and in that one move it had knocked out one of the best pokemon that Rosie had on her team.

The realization of that kind of power was terrifying, and all at once put into perspective just how much danger they had gotten themselves into.

"Pidgeeoooo" The cry of her pokemon snapped Rosie back into the present, looking over as the large Pink bird landed on the ground close by her her.
blinking she glanced around, catching Luke's look. With nothing really to say, looking back up at Perdy, and the bridge they had made with the Steelix.
"Perdy, go make sure Pastin's okay."
Reaching out to take Luke's sleeve, making her way over to the others by the steelix.

Luke looked to Perdy as the large bird returned, then to Rosie as she sent him back, mildly confused but unwilling to search those thoughts too thoroughly. As he felt her take hold of his sleeve, he moved his hand away to take hers properly, joining the collection of trainers crossing the Steelix to the other side.

Petra broke her attention from monitoring the trainers that crossed her Steelix to turn to the black vehicles, raising her voice more than her small frame might have suggested possible, "Members of Team Rocket, we are hereby placing you under citizen's arrest with the authority of the Pokemon League of Kodo for ongoing acts of theft, terrorism, and abuse against pokemon. If you resist, you will be subjugated. Stand down now."

That had worked once, years ago, though not against an organization as big as Team Rocket. Still, it was worth a shot - and, more importantly, she was legally obligated.

Andre rolled his eyes at Petra's little speech as he crossed the bridge, Velencia secure in his arms. If they were going to stand down after all that they had done because of that Team Rocket hardly seemed frightening. Though these members were likely just distractions whom had nothing to lose making them all the more dangerous. "Keep an eye on Fraener but stay up on my shoulders until I give you instruction to move." He murmured as he draped the Espeon around his neck. "Espeon." She gave in understanding, her eyes turning up towards the sky where the dragon pokemon was circling.

Well, now he felt a bit silly- he could have just walked across a Steelix?- but at least he hadn't had to wait and he was across safely.
Lin dusted himself off, almost mirrored by Jeeve's, once again on his shoulder, and began striding, determinedly, toward the Rockets, as he heard Petra calling out her speech.
Moriko's pokéball was out, ready to call her back.

Mordecai deposited Sera on the other side of the chasm, and she patted him on the head briefly before recalling him and replacing his ball on her belt. Next she sent out Isabella, put her ball back, then Jacques, then put his ball back - man this was annoying as all hell without the use of both hands. Unwilling to let herself dwell on such thoughts, the brunette addressed her pokemon, "Wait until I tell you to go." Both dark-types made noises of agreement and took up a waiting stance, their eyes locked on the vehicles in front of them.

Another form had exited the vehicle - a young woman this time, with black and purple hair tied up in a loose bun and wearing a similarly colored uniform - and intercepted the screaming Rocket as he approached. She pointed back at the stopped vehicle, a stern expression on her face, and said a few words that made him very reluctantly turn around and jog back, where he started circling it while ignoring the various unconscious pokemon surrounding it.

The woman jogged after him, but rather than circle the van as he did, she stood near it and faced the trainers, pulling two pokeballs from her belt and pressing the releases on both simultaneously. From them emerged two small forms - a shiny-looking Pikachu, as well as an elaborately striped Glaceon - and both took up a defensive stance in front of their trainer as she replaced their balls on her belt. The electric-type growled, his cheeks crackling with electricity as the pink Pidgeot approached in the air. In response to Petra's shouts, the woman lifted both her hands into the air, clasping them into fists as the middle finger on each hand rose in a silent, stubborn answer: Screw you.


Once most of them had crossed - the police following after them as well - Alder mounted his Braviary and, with a few flaps of his wings, the large bird easily flew over the chasm and alighted on the other side. Once there, he lowered himself closer to the ground so his trainer could slide off, and Alder patted the flying-type's neck affectionately in thanks. While the Rocket's response was a little disheartening, he wasn't at all surprised, and he let out his Volcarona who hovered beside his Braviary. "It appears we're doing this the hard way - not that we expected any different, hm?" He asked, glancing towards Petra.

Petra shook her head lightly with a sigh. "Yes, we were prepared for as much." Raising her voice again, her expression hardened into one of familiar resolve, "Okay, everyone, you remember the plan! Advance!"

The uniformed man who had released the Charizard leaned through the still open door of the van, apparently speaking a few words to the occupants. He then jerked a thumb away from the vehicle and stepped back to allow six additional individuals to disembark: three in gray uniforms, two in white, and one in red.

Yuri had good balance and managed to cross the Steelix without any trouble. He did feel sorry for the big guy though, glancing back at him to make sure he was making it along fine. When Dith made it over not long after him, Yuri grinned and moved to clap a hand on the guy's back goodnaturedly.

He then looked over at Petra as she made a typical call for surrender on the part of the Rockets. Knowing just as much as anyone else that was not going to... yep there were two birdies.

Yuri then pulled out a pokeball and released one shining Eevee. "You're not going to want to miss out on this, Captain."

With the orders given, Dove nodded and started forward, releasing her typhlosion and pulling Aurora's ball from her belt to call the arcanine back again. Luckily, Thierry had been closer to the crevice than she had first gathered, and she went to him first, Sparky watching over her as she revive the rapidash.

She watched as the horse rose to its feet, then looked to the people poplin out of the van. Rockets...

With Sparky's help--as Thierry was free of his saddle-- the girl pushed herself up into his back, then directed him toward where Aurora lay fallen to call her back. Sparky followed as guard should anything happen.

Oh... oh no.

Dith's heart sank as he saw who'd just got out of the Rocket vehicle. Not her. Why did she have to be here? She had always seemed like such a nice girl, but she was a Rocket and... and she was here and so he had to fight her, try to take her in.

From the way the big man paled somewhat and the look of despair on his face as he laid eyes on the elite rocket it was probably pretty clear that he knew her in some capacity. After a few moments he let out a slow breath and released Viktor, Luna and Teazer from their pokeballs. He wasn't sure where Zla was but he trusted the Haunter to act in his own time.

Why did it have to be like this? Why had the nice girl ever join them? Why had Jack done it for that matter, and Rosie's sister and... and it was all just wrong, and that was why they were here. It almost didn't matter right now why the rockets had made the choices they had, they had chosen to hurt other people and pokemon and they had to be stopped. Once they were arrested they would have a fair trial and be sentenced. They wouldn't be harmed. It would be okay. It would.

He was only reiterating to his team what Petra had just said but he doubted the Rockets knew that and he'd take any small element of confusion he could right now.

The Rockets reminded him a bit of clowns. The way that large groups of them seemed to be hidden away in these vehicles...though he supposed their group was no better.

With a put-upon sigh, Andre pulled his goggles back up and opened his eyes. A Charizard, a Pikachu, and a Glaceon...and those were only the three that had been let out so far. "Looks like you'll be focused on the Pikachu." He murmured to Velencia, reaching up to lazy scratch under her chin. "Let's try to keep it distracted enough so it doesn't get in Fraener's way, alright?" She nodded her small head, her gaze shifting from the sky to the shiny Pikachu standing guard at its trainer's feet. "Espe-Espeon." A small smile quirked the corners of his lips at the obvious malice in her tone. "No, no, Fraener's rules apply to you too. Let's not kill anyone, we don't want to get in trouble, do we?" He snickered when he caught sight of her pout.

As the orders were given, Sera pointed to the Rockets and addressed her pokemon, "Alright, go." Neither pokemon needed any further instruction, and both leapt into action, racing towards the Rockets.

As the trainers and their pokemon advanced, Claire gestured at the various Rockets that disembarked and issued a brief command, and they moved to do as ordered.

A woman and a young man, both in a white uniforms (Rockets 3 and 5), jogged forward and sent out two pokemon each: A Nidorino, a Dodrio, a Starmie, and a Leavanny. Another young man (Rocket 1), this one in a gray uniform, followed after his peers and sent out one of his own pokemon, a Croagunk. All five of the pokemon spread out in front of the van, ready to intercept the trainers and their pokemon as they approached.

Noting the more complex design of a pair of the uniforms, Petra gave Alder a brief nudge and nodded her head towards the Rockets. She then placed her fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly, following with a call, "Titan!" The massive steel snake, having served its job as a bridge, moved forward, following his trainers wide gestures and charging straight through the fray to cut off the two Elites and their pokemon from the other collection of Rockets, the latter of which stumbled out of the way to prevent from being run over. The impromptu barrier set up, Petra released her full team and began her assault.

Claire moved to one side as well when the Steelix suddenly veered across the sand and planted itself firmly between them and the lower ranked Rockets, and the woman cursed briefly as she pulled out two more pokeballs.

Alder received Petra's nudge and look, and moved to join her, sending out more of his pokemon in the direction hers went in.

Perdy took to the skies, flapping hard to gain enough altitude to remain out of the way, but be where he could easily act when his trainer so needed him.

Rosie's boots his the sand on the other side of the fisher. Looking over to Luke as she quickly stepped up with the others, her hands reaching down to pluck two balls from her belt.

"Raaiii!" Kiss Kiss shook herself out, holding her paws up before stepping forward on all of them, the pokemon stepping up next to her punched a paw into the other, pink on black eyes narrowing at the Rockets.
"Kiss Kiss, Sing please."

Puffing herself up delightedly, the Raichu blinked at one of the Rocket Agents (#5) leaning back onto her back legs, the Raichu opened her mouth, as a slow gentle lullaby drifted from Kiss Kiss for the human.

Rosie looked up to the sky, where Perdy was circling, lifting her hand up up toward him with a slight wave.
All at once the bird closed his wings, and went plummeting toward the ground cutting his wings open with a sing of metal, as a steel wing attack was pulled at the Croagunk.

"Pop-"
The Lopunny was already going, not waiting for its trainers orders the Lopunny tore forward with a long leap, rearing her fist back and with a yell threw a dizzy punch at the first Rocket in her reach (Rocket #1).


Rosie couldn't help but flinch a little watching her Lopunny go so mercilessly.
She didn't like this at all, but the painful reminder of her Rapidash was still on the ground, they would not hesitate to hurt any of her pokemon, and if she held them back for any reason, it would be her own fault for the injuries they get.

"Well... have at it," Yuri said as all the Pokemon ran forward. Clearly this was a fight for the Pokemon, and as much as he disliked it, Yuri would have to hang back for now. This didn't stop him from unsheathing his sword though, just in case. The blade gleaming in the bright light of the desert as it rested on his shoulder.

Repede and Astal immediately took off, heading for Rockets 3 and 5. Sparks flew as Repede did a Wild Charge in the direction of the strange three headed bird, the Dodrio. While Astal decided to peruse the abundance of sand in the area and sprayed a sand attack towards the Starmie and any other Pokemon that was near it.
