"What about people? Like.. If they're close to him, or touching him, can he turn them invisible too?"

"He's been trying to do that. He did it once, but afterward e got really tired and slept for a day...." Daimu blushed, humming to the memory. He was obviously the person who turned invisible with Quinn.

"Kuis is impervious to pain, Vincot's is illegal, and Xexus...Xexus was born with wind ability, but was given wings and fire as extra ones for fighting. Um, it's illegal to have more than one elemental ability, but as a guard he was given another. Wings are given to all guards.... There's a bunch of rules I guess. Just ask anything." He shrugged, smiling nicely, bringing his feet into him.

"Illegal? What's wrong with his powers? And why is it illegal to have more than one?" Reve sat on the floor, crossing her legs under her dress. Why were there so many rules?

Diamu put up his hand, holding up a finger as he explained. "Powers that include anything to do with the mind is illegal. Unless given special permission by Shoto. Powers like telepathy and dream walking. Like, we have twins here, Axel and Atlas. Atlas is the only one that I know of here that is allowed to use his, because he is only able to give sweet dreams to people, and he's a psychologist. So his powers go hand in hand with his studies, plus they are harmless. It's illegal to have more than one elemental power because elemental powers-not including mind abilities-are the most powerful. Having more than one will cause chaos. Did that make sense?" He asked, tilting his head.

"Um... Mind powers?" She didnt know how to word her question.

"Uh, yeah. Telepathy, dream-walking... Pretty much anything that allows you to manipulate someone mentally." Diamu explained, smiling at her.

"What's ..." She couldn't remember his name! "The one here... What's his power?"

"Oh, um...that's a secret!" Diamu laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. He was afraid if he told her about Vincot's emotion manipulation and that he used it on her if she'd get mad.

Reve frowned. "Is it that bad? Why doesn't he get in trouble for it?"

"He won't...as long as he doesn't use it...or anyone tells anyone he uses it.... Luckily it's a power that is usually brushed off as normal mental behavior. So he hasn't got caught yet. It's not like he does evil with it either." Diamu said, playing with the pantyhose on his head.

Reve thought for a moment. "Could you use animals for evil?" She was only half joking, of course. But she really was curious of every power could be used for evil.
