"I am of the Shikotsumyaku Kekkei Genkai....' He reached his hand up and placed it to his chin. He then looked the Raikage in the eyes. In that moment, both his eyes would change; one turned black with a white star in its center. His other eye remained white as his pupils and iris began to form a black moon. "I am a wielder of the 'Seki-Reigan'. I am an Assassin, Mi'lady." He placed his hands into his pockets and relaxed a bit. 'I am also capable of utilizing Raiton and Katon Ninjutsu." The young man tried to hide a smirk as he spoke again. "Speed, now, that is my specialty."

xxxxxToshiko pondered her options for a moment longer before pulling out a small scroll from a drawer on the desk. She held it in her hand for a second, wondering if the boy would be up to the task, hesitant to simple toss it over to him. "Are you willing to do whatever it takes to defend and serve your village, even if it should mean your death? Are you willing to carry out tasks directly from me in total secrecy, alone?" The boy's answer would determine whether or not she would hand over the scroll she now held in her hand. She couldn't come out right and say what she wanted for the boy, not yet. She needed to test his skills as an assassin before any more could be said to the youth. She placed the scroll on top of her desk, looking up to stare once more at the boy, her eyes almost drilling holes into him the longer she looked.

Jeyan had paid Konohagakure a short visit. Very short. As in he didn't go past the gates, and might have made the guard angry by wasting his time in such a manner. But he'd make ammends for that later. He had more important issues he wanted to bring up with the Raikage. As he came to the door to the Raikage's Office he activated his Byakugan for a mere moment to see who was inside. There were only two people and one of them was behind the desk, so he presumed it was the Raikage. Two knocks, then an entrance. As he took in what was happening, it was starkingly similar to what he had went through before taking on the rank he held at that moment. That was fantastic. There would be yet another recruit. In his mind, Jeyan was eccstatic. Outside, he kept the same straight face as always. He awaited the other Chuunin's answer from afar.

He withheld his cocky smirk as she asked him this. "Do you doubt my loyalty to my village and country, Mi'lady? I would not have asked of such a thing if I did not feel capable of withholding the responsibilities handed to me." He did not bother looking at the scroll in the woman's hands. He looked her in the eye. For now, his eyes remained at their natural hue as his Kekkei Genkai remained concealed. The Kaguya wanted this position. Blatant desire shone in his eyes as they flashed to the view the scroll that was lying upon the desk. "Death will not due for me," he spoke as he looked back up her. "I will fulfill my mission; each and every time, and return alive." He spoke only but the truth.

xxxxxThe answer would serve for now, but she would see how well he holds up when his mettle was tested. She picked up the scroll, tossing it to the Chuunin. "Take that and leave. Do not read it in front of anyone or tell anyone what is contained within. You are to do as it instructs and return to me with the scroll and the object you are sent to collect. Dismissed." Toshiko now looked over his shoulder to where Jeyan was standing. It seemed he had slipped in while she was staring at the other shinobi. She looked at her current Oinin Commander, who she could tell was waiting to discuss one important matter or another. She looked at the stacks of paperwork around her desk and let out a short sigh, it seemed like it would be a long time before she got to set about finishing it all. "Jeyan, I assume you are here to discuss something?"

He could not have been any more curios than he already had been to read the contents of the scroll. Anxiously, he took the scroll and slipped it away into one of his shinobi pouches. The young man turned about, placing his eyes briefly upon Jeyan; he had seen the white-eyed man once before, at the local training grounds. The young shinobi made a brief handseal before he disappeared in a wisp of lightning.

The Shinobi seemed to be confident enough in his skills. Hopefully his walk backed his talk. When it was his turn to speak he bowed before the Raikage as he always did. "Yes, Lady Raikage." He got right down to business, as usual. "I took a short visit to Konohagakure recently. When I arrived I tried to just walk right in, but they were having none of that. Which is expected. But it made me strongly consider something that I know nothing about." He hadn't exactly expected to just waltz into Konoha but the guard wasn't exactly welcoming either. However, that wasn't the problem. "It made me curious as to whom Kumo aligns itself with. Does the village have any allies? What is our foreign policy?" Jeyan almost felt stupid asking that question. One was supposed to know where their village stood with each of the Shinobi nations. If needed, the Hyuuga would go to any of the other villages for peace talks and negotiations.

xxxxxToshiko let a short sigh once more, upon hearing what Jeyan had come to discuss. The political situation involving Kumogakure was rocky to say the least. It was a moment before Toshiko gathered her thoughts to speak. "Things have been difficult lately. With the position of Raikage changing hands so many times recently, and with the actions some of the previous Raikage took, we have been left in a vulnerable position with few friends on the outside. We were allied with Kusagakure and I believe that it is an alliance we should try our best to foster and maintain, but as for the rest of the villages, I am unsure. Kirigakure was all but destroyed not to long ago, so they are no threat, but it is unclear what Konohagakure is doing and planning. They haven't done anything to outwardly oppose or attack us, but they haven't done anything to foster a friendship either. I would advise you however, to keep an eye on their activity, but do not attempt to enter the village, we don't want them to suspect us or give them reason to attack us." Toshiko paused now to take a long breath. The alliances of the village was something she wish she spent more time working on, but she was too short handed to even run a village day to day, let alone meet with the other village leaders. "But these are issues for a different time. That boy who was just in here is trying to become an Oinin as well. I sent him off on a simple mission, but I want you to oversee his progress and be the one to give him his mask. And if he shouldn't meet your standards, deny him. The Oinin is yours now. Pending anything else you want to ask, you are free to go."

Regula returned in another wisp of lightning after completing the mission listed within the scroll. He reached out and handed back both the scroll and the red ribbon which was to have been collected. "Mission Complete," was all that slipped from his mouth before he walked over to a wall and leaned on it. He was tired, and wanted to hear what the Raikage would have to say before he'd bother returning home.

All the information he took in was rather useful. He knew all he needed to know at that point. Jeyan would do all that he could do in order to foster relationship Kusagakure if he came into contact with any of their Shinobi. As far as that went, he bowed before the Raikage and began to walk toward Regula. "You, come with me."

His head turned with a slow motion as his eyes shifted their aim from the Raikage to the Hyuuga within the room. The man had begun to close the distance between the two of them as he called out for the Kaguya to follow in his foot steps. The Kaguya said no words. Clearly, this was a sign he had completed his mission successfully. If not, then he had not an idea as to what would happen. Would the man be his teacher? Or his Oinin Commander? "Yessir!" Regula swiftly spoke as he turned to follow the man.

Vero walked up towards the Kage’s office and smiled at the receptionist. His bandana wrapped around his mouth was gone and his shining white smile shone. He was already manipulating her mind, feeding her feelings of trust and having him just walk on by. Vero laughed loudly as he thought about how easy it was to manipulate the weak minded. As he neared the door, Vero didn’t hesitate as he barged right in. In a swift glance around the room, he saw that there was nobody there and proceeded to do a theatrical brow. “Hello glorious Raikage. I’m here for my headband after having just graduated the academy.” A cold fire danced in Vero’s eyes. Oh yes. This was fun, so much fun.

"The theatrics a bit much, but if you want to keep going around calling me glorious, I might learn to like it. And how am I supposed to give you a headband if you don't introduce yourself to me properly?" Toshiko leaned back in her chair, eyeing the boy up and down. She wanted to scold him for simply barging in, but she would bring that up with secretary in the hallway later.

That hadn’t gone as planned. Vero had planned on insulting the Raikage and invoking a furious response. People were much easier to control when angered, but the same was true when overly happy. Vero was already analyzing this woman and she seemed to know what he entailed, or she had just gone along with him. Oh well, that didn’t truly matter at the moment. “My name is Vero Heiland. Thought you would know that though by my genius scores in everything at the academy.” Vero feigned a yawn. “Oh well, that’s your loss.” He glanced at the watch on his left wrist as if he had more important things to do. “OH, I would also like a mission, just for fun though.”

Raiken sighed stepping into the kages office after having been gone for a few weeks. Raiken had learned all he possibly could at his current stage in iron sand so he was hoping for something new. Raiken took a seat in of the chairs at the entrance of the office seeing the Raikage was currently busy with someone else. It mattered not to him he was not pressed for time and could easily wait for his turn. Raiken had come to request to take the Anbu test, he did not expect to pass but knew it would be something to do and he had already learned all he could at this stage of his bloodline and figured it couldn't hurt to take the test. The worst he could do is fail and remain a genin which would change nothing so why not? Plus it would probably let him learn something about his kage which is Raiken was honest about was very curious to learn more about her.
