I'm almost done with my cosplay!! I hope to finish the shirt tonight, and then I have nothing left!! No, this isn't a top-of-the-line cosplay, but for a high school student with no job, it's pretty good. Also, it was my first completed one, and nobody is perfect on their first try unless they're Mozart.
Tonight, I leveled Angus McFife to 100, and made him a Paladin. I also found my unicorn mount and gave it to Zargothrax. I've played on both players numerous times, and nobody has gotten the references yet, but GloryHammer is a new band so I'm not at all surprised. I just find it all hilarious, but awesome! I got to make 2 players I'd never made in all my years of playing that game, and experience their stories.
Angus accidentally set off the destruction of the world for being good. I said I wouldn't help the Black Mage destroy everyone, so he set himself free after a several-century-long sleep, burned an island, and flew? away to plan the destruction of the world. Good job being the hero here, Angus.
Zargothrax helped raise a baby dragon, and traveled for 15 minutes to an island to discover the others of its kind, only to say he isn't strong enough to awaken the only remaining dragon and waisted another 15 minutes of my life returning home... Also NPCs kept saying he didn't have a dragon, and just looked at it strangely every time. Like... come on! It has wings, horns, a long tail, and scales! How doesn't that scream dragon to you??!!
In the end though, I love both the Evan class and the Adventurer class more than I ever have. I hated it when I first began playing and Adventurers were the "superior class", but all these years later they're just like anyone else and have a legit story that I've fallen in love with. It's epic and really brings you into the heart of what the game was originally centered around without adding a pointless slip-in of it to random spots for no good reason *cough* RIENA STRAIT *cough* (I love that questline since it's adorable and sweet, I just find it pointless to add the Black Wings in there last minute). And I finally got to sit down and finish an Evan character for a change because I've made probably about 4 or 5 by now and deleted them all by roughly level 40 and below. This time I made it to 105 and won't back down. I just wish (this may happen and I'm just not far along enough to know) that Evan would realize he is the reincarnation of Freud already and tie it in with the Heroes.

Done with my cosplay!! I am officially Magnus Chase!!
I had a dream last night where MapleStory thought my player Angus McFife wasn't a good name, so they changed his name to "Alexalexelix" for no damn reason. Then he died and went to the mysterious sector of the Free Market that keeps appearing in my MapleStory dreams, where whenever a player dies they go there for a certain amount of time (there's a clock above your screen like when you fight a boss, and it's usually 10 minutes) and you can buy from player shops at great deals. Like a 1,000,000,000 meso item could be 100,000 mesos. So here I go with Alexalexelix into this fricking nonexistent place that I am desperate to make a thing in actual MapleStory, and I find this badass shop with a ton of chairs that are super expensive normally, but this person was selling them for 1 meso. So, being as poorly-funded as I am, I start buying them like it's a kindergartner's first field day and they can't wait to get out into the field to start screaming and chanting and acting as if they had 10 too many sodas. But turns out... THE GODFORSAKEN SHOP WAS A SCAM!! Every chair cost me like... 3mil apiece, and I was out of all the money I spent forever saving in like 3 seconds and there was no getting it back! So I had to keep playing as a horribly-funded player and died super quickly. As Alexalexelix. What the actual hell? (Tbh I checked that morning on Angus just to be sure...)

IT'S OUR DESTINY TRIUMPH OR AGONY! ANCIENTS' GLORY ENDLESS PAIN DEEP INTO THE DUNGEONS OF HELL!!
You know something? I'm glad I got into metal music. All the guys in those bands have long hair that's as great in length as mine, or sometimes even longer. Like mine goes literally all the way down my back, nearly to my legs. The thing is, I've always wanted to look more like a guy, and I didn't think having hair like mine was boyish since everyone I saw had short hair. But then I took a look at the members of some of my absolute all-time favorite bands, DragonForce and Rhapsody of Fire being the top 2, and literally everyone has overly long hair. Amon Amarth's members have long hair. Luca Turilli's Rhapsody has members with long hair. Blind Guardian has members with long hair. Turisas has guys with long hair. Kamelot has guys with long hair. And the list can just keep going. It makes me happy knowing some of the people I have loved and supported since I was a kid (DragonForce), or as a teenager (all the others) have hair of that length, and are guys. I'm a metalhead (guy? still haven't decided, but I think I am), and it makes me happy knowing my hair isn't specific to any gender.

Some late night/early morning thoughts I've had when I can't sleep:
1. Does sunlight help the wooden boards on the deck grow like it does plants? Wood does come from plants, after all... 2. Do whispers fade because the wind can't contain a human's life? 3. How do we know the stars aren't a veil that keeps us from seeing something beyond?
I am so exited for comic con this weekend!! I doubt anyone will know my cosplay, though, because Magnus Chase is a new character. BUT ONLY 2 MORE DAYS!!
