Greg awoke as the plane touched down on a grassy airfield outside New York city. Blinking a few times, he looked around. Thankfully at this time of night, nobody was around. He wasn't about to leave his Groza in the plane, and not have it close by if need be later, but compact as it was, it was typically bad policy to openly carry an automatic weapon with a grenade launcher in civilized, populated, parts of the world.
"Right, catcha later Will, and tell Santiago I'm sorry I couldn't be there to deliver the goods in person. I don't think he'll really mind, I get the impression he doesn't like me much anyways.... Don't tell him that. Just the part about not being there."
Hopping out of the plane, he made his way over to a gravel lot that contained a couple of cars that belonged to various people that used the airport, including a four-door sedan he left in the lot pretty much all the time, much to the annoyance of the guy that owned the airport, as he could tell by the angry note left under the windshield wipers.
Popping open the trunk he tossed in his rifle, the sling, and extra magazines of ammo he carried. He wasn't parting with his sidearm, as it was inconspicuous enough to keep holstered at his side without drawing too much attention. Hopping into the car, he began the drive into the city, and down to the docks where this convention of sorts was taking place. He never could understand why they didn't just host these events out in the middle of nowhere, instead of trying to hide in populated areas. Perhaps it was because the vast, untamed, secluded frontiers weren't so vast, or secluded anymore, which was a shame in it's own way. Pulling up to the location, he got out, and began meandering about, perusing the various wares in stock, while keeping an eye out for anyone from the Union. Apparently one of their subsidiaries, or whatever, he never really bothered to pay attention to how the organizational structure of their group worked, had some interesting things to show off.

Ivonne pulled out a pack of cigarettes, packing them before she opened them, pulling one out and lite it. Taking a few puffs relaxing while she waited for Akuro to arrive, as she was going to take another puff she saw him pull up. Dropping the half smoked cigarette on the ground she put it out with her shoe, walking up to Akuro. " Yeah, It's nice out tonight. How about you?" She said wanting to get this meeting over with she had things that she had to get done.

Akuro ordered his men to secure a place for their presentation of the products while he spoke with the 'agent', Ivonne. "To be quite honest, I'm a little agitated. Rarely do delays occur at important times such as this, but it seems my luck was against me tonight." He watched as they pushed along the four crates, and a heavy forklift carried over large platforms which held a large object covered in tarps and secured with tiedowns.

"I'm hoping we can get some great new clients with these products." He motioned for her to follow as the second covered object was moved in and the door closed to the blackmarket. "Would you care to try our new rifle? You haven't asked for the Barrus yet, which is understandable with its power, but I think you'll find a liking to this one." He snapped over the presenter and pulled up the schematics of the prototype Scorpion Assault Rifle.

"Cooled interior, compact design, standard 5.56mm sized bore with interchangeability, custom silencer attachment, scope attachment, and the usual 'click-bang' of a rifle. Quite a beauty if I say so." He stopped just short of the area they selected, with the crates being lined along the back and one object to each side of the area. They even had a target set up to demonstrate the rifle, although only with the silencer. Even at the black market people tended to panic at the sound of gunfire.

The Technicians were doing checks on the objects under the tarp, which garnered a crowd already. "Needless to say, I don't want anyone to think they can simply take my products without the proper payment, understood Meyr?" His tone was colder than usual, his expression turned dead serious.

Vincent looked to both Leila and Snow as they spoke, nodding along slightly as they warned and cautioned him about his actions. Then, he smirked just a little as started to reply. "My 'allies' have no idea they'll be my allies yet, not all of them at least. My primary allies are the people, and it should be noted that lately, people across the world have been getting a lot less pleased with the current powers that be. Certainly I'll need to gain allies from other governments and such, but right now the primary concern is dealing with this UN situation, then getting further support from the people."

Clearing his throat a bit as he took another sip, Vincent looked more to Snow now. "This is somewhat different than chess. In chess, you have to predict your opponents moves. In real life, if you're good enough, you can control your opponents moves. Of course, this is something that I'm going to have to be vague on yet again. I can tell you though that there's already two kids playing with these embers... I just happen to be the person that puts a little gas on before they decide to." There was a silence for a moment as Vincent thought more to himself. "I know the risks, better than most if you can believe that. That's why when I play with fire, I bring a hose." Vincent looked to both Snow and Leila for a moment. "Things are going to get tense soon I believe, but trust me, they were going to anyways. I just happen to be the wildcard in all of this." With another quiet pause, Vincent looked out the window again and gazed over New York's skyline. "Ah yes, that reminds me of something. You called me earlier Snow, was that about the UN, or something else?"

Aidian Kyros
((OOC: Sithious, if you could RP my superiors that would be awesome. I'm not sure where to take it from here.))

(OOC: I think I can do that! biggrin )

A few men stood around in the slightly dimmed room that Aidian had walked into. Most were sitting down, but one was talking to a man that was appearing on large computer screen of some kind. The fellow on the other end had what sounded like a British accent, but the volume was somewhat low. The screen eventually flickered off, and the man sat down.

"Aidian, please sit down." The grey haired man said. Once Aidian was sitting, he spoke again. "You seem to have a pretty decent record following behind you Mr. Kyros. A very successful sniper. You know, as it so happens, we here at the CIA have an opening for someone like you, but only for a very... Specific career path." The man cleared his throat and stared Aidian down, trying to read the man as best he could. "Aidian, how far are you willing to go for your country? For freedom, democracy, blueberry pie, the American way of life?" The man, and all the other people in the room sat quietly and watched Aidian's every move, analyzing every bit of him and trying to gauge just how effective of a soldier he might be.

And shepherds we shall be...

As he entered the room, Aidian felt a sudden chill run down his spine. He was officially underground, in the CIA, in a meeting room where men who didn't exist gave orders that never happened to take out people who would just disappear. It had a strange excitement to it, but there was another level of fear that went along with it. These were the kind of men who could be at their kid's soccer game, get a call informing them you had completed your mission by burning down an entire village and killing a hundred women and children, and then go back to drinking tea and watching their kid play without missing a blink. That was a whole new level consciousness that Aidian didn't know if he'd ever reach, and a large part of him hoped he never did.

When they told him to sit, he came to attention, stepped forward, and quickly seated himself in the nearest chair. His eyes stayed locked on the back of the room as they had been since he walked in. He'd learned a long time again the the brass liked it when you pretended you couldn't see them. He listened as they spoke to him, and he felt an enormous surge of patriotism as they asked their question. He didn't even hesitate as he responded, still keeping his eyes locked on the back of the room. "Sir! I am an American soldier, and I will do whatever is required of me by my superiors to protect my country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I will always place the mission first and I will never accept defeat." For a moment he felt an urge to break his eyes away from the wall and look into the eyes of the gray haired man. "Sir, I am one of the top five best snipers in the world. I am second in the world in accuracy and number one in the world for number of missions run. Successful missions, that is." After he spoke he realized he'd actually looked into the man's eyes and what he saw there scared him. It didn't show, but somewhere inside his brain a tiny little switch had just flicked. For the first time in his own country he'd seen a man without a soul.

"Being vague with us isn't going to get you anywhere, Vincent. You have to trust us some time, you know." September's voice rang in the back of his head as Snow spoke, his lilac eyes beginning to drift. "Leila & I could be good allies to have, if that was even an option." The night September had disappeared, she had told Snow that keeping his enemies close would benefit him in the future. He never understood what she meant until now. "Leila thinks you're dangerous as do I & the UN at that... Dangerous views can create dangerous uprisings, and we don't exactly have the manpower to fight back right now." Images of September were now flooding Snow's vision as he took another drink of his foreign alcohol, his eyes flickering between lilac, green and crimson. "Also, I had Ana call you because I need..." Snow paused midsentence as he felt his heartbeat begin to slow, taking a deep breath and then beginning once more. "I-I needed your help with something, though Leila proved to be much more - " Snow began to cough violently, his vision filling with darkness as he fainted. He had fallen onto the floor, his head missing the corner of the table by inches. His last thoughts were that of September, of his empire, of how he had become one of the most powerful men in the world, only to fall victim to an illness. He had never felt so weak.

(OOC: He's not dying or anything; he has some weird thing contracted when he made contact with some half breed. Not commonly noticed or found by humans.))

Leila stuck her tongue out at Snow when he told her about frown lines. She didn't care. She liked to think about things. She stayed silent as Vincent talked and sighed; shaking her head. Two rounds of silence when Vincent asked Snow about his phone call.

Leila was watching Snow carefully. Her eyes widened and she was by his side the moment he fell to the floor. "Geez...Snow..." she muttered and checked his pulse. He was getting feverish and clammy to her and went to look through her bag. "I left it..." she sighed and looked to Vincent. "Can you help me get him onto the sofa or an extra bed if you've got one here. He can't be on the floor." she said going into action quickly."

Julia sat in the middle of her underground lab with pieces of the iron man suits around her. "How wondrous." She smiled as she looked upon the pieces. "The artificial muscles. I could make twenty new inventions with them alone."

"Where am I?" The darkness that had flooded Snow's mind when he had fell was now clearing, and he was standing in a field of tall grass and sunflowers. Was this a dream? His head wasn't hurting so much anymore, and Vincent could hear Leila's voice but just barely.
"Snow.." He heard his sister's voice, his eyes darting around confused. It felt like a dream, yet.. His sister's voice was so clear. "Snow, listen to me. I don't have a lot of time. You need to take Leila with you to that contract tomorrow. Do NOT kill the boy; Leila can help you simulate his death."
"September, where are you? What are you talking about?" His vision was getting fuzzy again, his eyes still flickering from lilac to green and crimson.
"You'll see me soon, but we don't have time to talk about me right now. Listen to me, Snow; it is very important that you do not kill the child. Your contract - he's thirteen and he needs to be at the UN meeting. I know you're planning on quitting, anyways. So, make this contract - God, damn it." Her voice began to fade as Snow fell to his knees, Leila's voice flooding his ears.
"September, wait." Snow coughed as he called out for his twin sister, a drop of blood leaking from the corner of his mouth.

(( I'm going to make a profile for September soon, when she comes into play. Also, I might make one for the kid. I haven't decided though. I need to talk to Sithious first. ))

Ivonne put her helmet on her bike, hitting a button so the alarm she had installed would go off if anyone were to try and steal it. She watched them pushing some crates and was listening to Akuro before he motioned her to follow him. She turned her attention away from the others and followed him stopping as he asked her if she wanted to try out then new rifle. Her eyes lite up a bit, she loved guns but she stayed calm " Yeah sure"she said watching someone bring out the rifle and handing it to her. She gripped it and aimed it at a nearby bird just sitting on a box, without hesitation she shot at the bird and watched it fall down on the ground. "Great gun and I understand completely" she said looking back to Aukro after setting the gun down.

||OOC; Will introduce the next product on the next post.||

"Goody!" Akuro's smile returned as he moved to the side of his 'presentation' area. While being head of several companies along with part of the Union, he made sure not to take the spotlight or be noticed in places such as the black market. Despite his flair for dramatics, he had that small skill within him somewhere. The presenter he selected approached the small crowd and representatives of various groups such as the ICS or Russian activists.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have been able to obtain recieve products for testing from the renown Khador arms and Yakigima Heavy Industries. We have four crates of new assault rifles, model number XBGR-22. This weapon features a cooled interior, exchanging barrel bores, standard combat rail, lefty righty selection, and Khador's newer finned bullet." The presenter pulled out one of the 5.56mm rounds.

It was like the normal 5.56mm bullets in looks, but the presenter pulled out the solid tip, bringing out a cylinder with pressure=deployed wings on the sides. "More accurate at the cost of penetration, this round will ensure the best bang for the buck on the market. Each crate holds 30 rifles each, with a price of $130,000.00, individual price $4,200. No compromise, no auction." The presenter was then handed a rifle, firing it with the attached silencer at a target set up on the area they had for presentation.

Greg had moseyed over to the group of people that surrounded the test area in time for the 'presentation'. While his curiosity was peaked by the rifle's design, a bullet designed to be more accurate at the cost of penetration in this day and age bothered him, at least when he kept in mind the type of people he'd end up selling the weapons to. Sure, most of them were lightly trained, so anything to increase the odds of their shots hitting the target was worth considering. However, most modern forces were decked out in all sorts of protective gear, thus creating a need for a penetrating round. At any rate, $130,000 a crate limited the people he could potentially sell to significantly, so he decided to pass. Perhaps he would take note of whoever did decide to spring on the chance to purchase the rifles, and intercept the shipments. In the meantime however, he continued to silently wait for the Barrus rifles he'd heard so much about.
