Oh, something was coming towards her! It was a bit hard to tell, what with the ripples she was creating, but maybe it--was a Carvanha trying to bite her ribbon off, sweet Arceus--

Cassie jerked her ribbon out of the water as the fish surfaced, gnashing its teeth, and after a brief moment of leaning backwards with one paw in the air, expression aghast, she stomped her paw on the ground and growled at the fish, baring her teeth. Simultaneously, that same ribbon lashed out like a whip to strike the Carvanha between the eyes. She said angrily as the fish started, staring up at her with wide eyes, before it hastily disappeared back under the water. Growling still, Cassie jumped onto all fours and shouted after it louder this time, Hmph!> Turning her tail towards the water and lifting her nose into the air, the fairy-type walked away from the water's edge to sit in the middle of the area where no rude, hungry Carvanha could reach her. Honestly! The nerve of some pokemon!

Having missed the entirety of the situation that just went on behind her, Alice turned and smiled at her Sylveon. "Aw, are you trying to make friends?" She'd heard the fairy-type bark briefly, but all that remained were fading ripples on the water's surface. Slipping her camera into her coat pocket for the moment, Alice instead fished out her bag of pokemon chow and threw some across the surface of the water. "Let's see what kinds of pokemon we can try to find, hm?"

Cassie huffed, turning her head away, nose still up in the air.

The Cove!

Sideways jumped forward and gave a most unpleasant squeal as his paws landed into the coves ocean, prancing away. Wet and Cold! Wet and Cold! Eww, eww, ewww! The Flareon shook himself, making a disgusted sound at the sea before trotting over to Taavi and dramatically flopped down by him.

Tired now, pet me.

[Cove, with Abel & Flareon]

"Heee, yeah seems like it!" Taavi replied, beaming up at Abel as his hand was thoroughly sniffed. Once the Dratini was done catching his scent it hummed to itself and rubbed its face against his hand, which if anything made Taavi smile wider. "Heeeey friend, are you shedding or something?" he asked of the dragon type; it did kind of look like it might be and so he started to give it a gentle scratch on the pale patches that would soon peel away. "Man that must be pretty itchy hu? That what you wanted, somebody with fingers?"

A sudden splash jerked Taavi's attention away from the Dratini and he turned quickly to see- "Oh, hi Flareon!" So Sasha was here!

The Dratini meanwhile sidled away quickly, a little spooked by the sudden encroachment of the fire type. On the water's edge it glanced from Taavi to the Flareon and back again, seemingly undecided.

Taavi looked crestfallen and reached out a hand after the dragon type. "Aww, don't go yet! Flareon didn't mean to scare you, right Flareon?" Arrrgh! He'd been petting a wild Dratini! Why Flareon? Why?

Beach

"A-alright. I'll be around." Izumi said with a smile and a wave as her new friend ran away to go potty.

Izumi sighed, left now with her new Dratini and the wooper. "Kitt, lets go explore." The dragon type finished eating the food it had and crawled over to Izumi, snaking up her body and draping itself around her shoulders.

"Draaaa~" The pokemon chirped, ready to go. Izumi smiled and walked down the beach towards the cove, leaving the wooper behind.

Wooper stared at the pair as they walked away. "Wooo... Pah..."

[The cove, Taavi&Abel&Flareon& Dratini]

Whoops, nope, sorry Wooper. Lex left the small blue pokemon behind him as he continued onwards, entering the cove. He certainly didn't need to add a pokemon on his team that was toxic to touch.


Sideways blinked, squirming on the sands as he looked adoringly at Taavi and the strange man next to him. What? Ooh, yeah, that thing. He rolled on his back, looking crossed eyed at the wild Dratini. He wasn't dangerous, he promised. <>

Hey look! What's that rolling about?! Oh... Oh, it's just driftwood in the surf. (Booby Prize!)

[Cove with Taavi, not keeping Seel]

Ah, there was something... Nope, that was definitely a Seel and not seaweed. As the water-pokemon surfaced, Abel chuckled and tossed a small handful of food for it. "There you go, bud," he said, watching it as it eagerly ate all of the pokemon chow, barked, then vanished beneath the water again. A quiet splash drew his attention next, and he glanced over to one side just in time to see a Flareon, of all things, trot over and sit down next to Taavi. No, that had to belong to someone. Why else would a Flareon be here? "Don't worry," he said to the Dratini with Taavi, hoping to encourage it to stay since his friend seemed to really want it to. "No one's gonna hurt you."

With that, he tossed another handful of chow into the water to see what else would come up to grab a bite.

[Cove. Anyone who wants to notice Izumi]

Izumi climbed the steps from the beach and started down the other side into the coves. She could hear some noises echoing off of the rocks that sounded like people talking. It looked like this was a popular spot. Izumi was about to turn around, but Kitt looked eager to go further in.

The girl shrank into herself, keeping to the edges of the cove, looking into the pools and trying not to get in the way of or interrupt any of the people there.

Oliver slowly got up, having managed to finally coax the Seel into a pokeball. He pat Sucrose, motioning her up and set the new ball onto his belt, rather pleased with his acquisition. He looked up and paused, lips slightly purse.

"Ooh, I think we have met already," he said finally, taking in Izumi, and the Dratini wrapped about her shoulders. That was an interesting way to carry a pokemon.
