Slade was finished playing games, it was time to end this. The entirety of his focus was on the boy now as his promethium blade clashed with Red Robin's bo-staff; Deathstroke leaned in to their clash, his helmeted face mere inches from Tim's. The ominous glow of his red eye lense gazing into Tim's eyes.

"Whatever he's up to, you're going to suffer as well, Deathstroke."

Deathstroke felt his lips tugging into a cruel smirk beneath his mask upon hearing this words, a soft chuckle passing through his voice amplifier as he took a step forward; using his enhanced strength to force the vigilante back toward the opposing wall. If you think I care what the old man has planned then you're boss's done an woefully shitty job keeping you up to date on my file, boy. Deathstroke responded, sliding his blade up and down Tim's bo-staff to create an earsplitting screech of metal on metal - sparks flying between the two weapons as Slade took another step forward. I coudn't give a rat's a** what happens to this piss hole of a city; all I care about is getting paid.

Deathstroke caught Tim's flick of the wrist as he tossed an explosive toward the pile of boxes behind them. Deathstroke quickly broke their lock and fell to one knee, forcing the tip of his sword into the ground as he latched on to the grip with both hands. His promethium armor protected him from the shrapnel and wood that pelted his back, the resulting shock-wave of the explosion causing the split colored strands of bandana cloth hanging from the back of his helmet to billow forward. A stray box flew over Slade's head and hit Tim with enough force to send him soaring into the back wall in a heap. Slade took the opportunity to rise to his feet and make his way toward the fallen bird. He had to act fast, knowing that the collision would disorient his foe with just enough time to close the gap and finish him, and Deathstroke could hear Black Bat already making her way toward the two of them. Pulling a grenade from his belt, Deathstroke tossed it in her direction. The explosion shook the warehouse, and destroyed dozens of the piled boxes creating a barricade to hinder Cassandra's movements as they toppled over.

With that annoyance out of the way, Slade's focused returned to Tim. He lifted his boot and pressed the heel into Red Robin's gun-wound within his shoulder to keep him down; pressing down on it harder as he leaned in and spoke. You've fought valiantly, Timothy - better than most. Slade lifted his sword, steadying it to run Tim through. There was a part of the Assassin that did regret having to kill him, that the boy would never get to meet his true potential. A damn shame, but there was nothing to be done about it. Just know that you die with honor. Slade thrust his blade down to run Tim through the heart when he was suddenly knocked off balance by an earth-shaking explosion. The explosion knocked Slade off his perch, causing him to fall to the ground - his sword being knocked across the room. What the Hell-- Deathstroke was cut off by yet another explosion, hindering his attempt to rise to his feet. What the ******** is going on out there?? Slade snapped to himself, turning to run toward to the control room of the bunker. He stopped after a few paces, pointing at Tim. Wait right there, would you? - Slade then disappeared into the next room.

DEADSHOT

After a moment of silence, it seemed that Deadshot hit his mark. "Well I'll be damned. But as usual, whenever fighting a vigilante that's part of the Justice League, he will always be fooled. He turned around hearing Nightwing's taunt ”You might be a really good shot, but you got nothing on Deathstroke. Also, who taught you to aim? Condiment King? At least that guy knew how to hit his target!” . Before he could make a comeback and reload his gun wrists, he was hit right in the rib cage and in the face. Although staggered a little, Lawton faced off worst hits in Belle Reve prison fights especially with metahumans. Quickly recovering from the hits and fast to react, he pulls out a switch blade that he always keep underneath his sleeve and stabs it right at Nightwing's obvious gunshot wound on the shoulder that he spotted right away with his cybernetic eye. Expecting the hero to be stunned he pushes Nightwing to keep some distance and quickly reloads fifty rounds in his left wrist gun. "I did what Deathstroke could never do....Kill the Boy Wonder AHAHHAH" Before he was able to fire his wrist, he realizes that his weapon was jammed, a rare happening to all of his machinery and firearms. "Sucks for you kid, your death won't be as quick and painless, pretty much the same as what your old man would be experiencing at the moment. He lashes out at the injured Nightwing and tackled him to the ground attempting to stab him right in the neck.

"Tracker's saying they should be right about..here. Okay Artemis. Drop me. I'll contact you later once this is all over." said Red Hood to his Amazonian companion. She let him down as requested, a little too frivolously if you asked him. Probably her own special way of telling him she didn't take kindly to being treated as his personal Uber. Great, Dead Boyz gang territory thought Jason as he landed on the pavement, with a roll. He'd ran into these guys a few times in the early on of his tenure as Red Hood. Took over their gang and a bunch of others just like it by force. Even going as far as to kill the men they answered to. Good times. Nowadays, they were to his knowledge, still in the process of rebuilding since their not so good break-up. Mostly due to him turning around and killing a bunch of them as well as some other 'minor' details like blowing up their original headquarters. Water under the bridge stuff. Too bad for them cause from the looks of things, they'd be starting from scratch again.

As he entered the building, unconscious bodies lain about everywhere. "Right follow the trail of bodies." he reminded himself. Batman and Nightwing certainly knew how to make an entrance, that was for sure. Four flights of stairs later and he was still searching."Oh come on, this is just ridiculous. Why do they need so many stairs?" Eventually his search concluded after finding a room where inside he'd seen d**k on his back while Deadshot straddled him. He almost wanted to chuckle. Mainly because this is how all d**k Graysons' fights ended. He unsheathed two M1911s and fired two off into the back of the unaware Deadshot. Before moving forward to check on his adoptive-brother. "Look I know what you're going to say and no, he's not dead. Just sedated with the dose of two so we don't have to worry about him anytime soon. Mind filling me in on this? Also, where's Batman?" he asked not seeing the brooding knight anywhere in sight.

As the blade dug into the wound, he clenched his teeth. It was just like adding salt to the wound. Once he heard the wrist gun being reloaded he knew that this was going to bad, as Lawton went in for a shot a clicking could be heard. Was he serious? The world’s greatest marksman with a jammed gun? Oh, he couldn’t wait to tell someone that. Before he could even react after the assault, Deadshot had tackled him to the ground with the knife still in hand going in for the kill. Immediately fending off the killing blow with his right arm, restraining the blade from getting any closer. With the last few seconds on his side, he rummaged around in one of his compartments. Something, anything that could have him win this. A small taser slipped out, landing on the floor beside him but it was too late.

Two gun shots were heard throughout the room. Was he hit? Did Deadshot somehow get shots off? The pressure once applied from lawton immediately declined, allowing Richard to throw him off of him. He couldn’t believe who he had saw. Red Hood stood before him with two pistols wielded. Before he could even question anything, Jason had already answered the only question he was going to ask. ”Look I know what you’re going to say and no, he’s not dead. Just sedated with the dose of two so we don’t have to worry about him anytime soon. Mind filling me in on this? Also, where’s Batman? He had also asked his own questions in return. Smirking as he finally arose from being on his back. It was always good to see a friendly face. ”We were looking for answers on the location of Robin. Someone in this city knows something. Red Robin and Batgirl are currently covering another part of the city. Thanks for the assist, but I had that. Also, am I that predictable?” He had questioned, quickly realizing that Batman was still dealing with Bane. ”Bane took Batman out a window.” Before rushing to the brawl outside, in a rush he had grabbed the taser that had fallen out during the scuffle. Giving Jason a hand motion to follow, so they could find Bruce and regroup.

Through all of the explosions Stephanie slowly started to wake up from her electric slumber. She was definitely going to feel that tomorrow. Her head spinning as she tried to gain her footing again. She heard the commotion she stood up quickly and quietly just in the moment Slade threw the grenade towards Cassie. Using her grappling hook she shot it at a beam flinging herself towards her. Just before the explosion she swiftly scooped up Black bat, landing on top of another set of crates she hoped she was quiet and quick enough to not have caught the assassins attention

Stephanie leaned down over the crates surveying her surroundings, only to witness Slade over Tim ready to drive his blade through his chest. Her green eyes widened in horror about to scream out, before the room was shook with another explosion. Gripping onto the crate for balance as she let out a small sigh of relief watching Slade distracted by the chaos. Glancing at Cassie she raised a blonde brow silently making their plan to get Tim and get the hell out of this place.

"How did you get in here?" Stephanie asked moving over to Cassandra as she glanced around the room looking for the easiest way to exit as quickly as they could. "Let's get Tim and go. We can't comm with the others so we need to at least get the hell out of here before Slade comes back." Stephanie spoke quietly and fast her blonde brows furrowing as she tried to formulate something.

This is exactly what Batman had wanted. Having Bane in this state of rage played into his hand completely. While his agility and strength seemingly doubled, he appeared reckless and unrestrained, more so than previous encounters where he remained calm and watchful of the Bat's moves. He knew what was coming. An onslaught of attacks with unrelenting strength, damn near enough to break several bones. He was already anticipating every move as Bane bounded the short distance between them. Before he made contact Batman threw his arms up in front of him to cross them like an X. It would do little to defend him but in the long run he'd work it to his advantage.

Had he not have heard the explosions in the distance, he would have thought that Bane packed more punch than he thought. The ground began to rumble fiercely, making him question what exactly was going on back there. With a thud the Caped Crusader was thrown against the brick wall with an unusual amount of force. His fists were the next set of attacks to come flying his way, quickly dodging them as he hopped to the left and the right and when he saw a clear opening, Batman jammed his fists hard into Bane's left side before effectively removing himself from the corner that the villain tried to trap him in. Batman leaped up from behind, planting his boots firmly into Bane's back as he tugged the last tube with all of the force he could muster ensuring he had a clear opening to shred it down the middle with the spines along his gauntlet.

In one swift motion, Batman jumped from his back falling gracefully from a flip and landing softly on the ground merely watching as Bane was reduced to a giant human mess, facing withdrawals without his venom supply. With a huff and puff, Batman exhaled deeply clearly worn from the recent fight. Bane was no pushover surely but he picked the wrong night to take him on. He had more important things to concern himself with. "Stay down." The Bat would demand as he left him to his own devices soon appearing behind that of Jason Todd and d**k Grayson. "Good of you to have shown up when you did." Batman took a close look at Floyld Lawton downed but not out in the long run. He didn't even realize he showed having been so distracted with Bane. Perhaps they were working together? That seemed to be a given but there was no way they acted alone. Ra's Al Ghul refused to pull any punches this time around, he was already figuring out ways to connect him to the explosions going on within the city.

"Alfred, bring it to Gordon's attention that both Bane and Deadshot have been apprehended at the Dead End Boyz's hideout. Sending you the coordinates now." Tapping away at his gauntlet, he sent the specific location where Batman, Nightwing, and now Red Hood stood with two downed villains in close proximity.

"I'm afraid that's not possible at the moment, sir. Several bombs have just been set off all over central Gotham including the Diamond District and...oh good heavens. Wayne Enterprises is...there's nothing left." His trusted butler would, moments later, connect him with a live feed of news casters everywhere broadcasting the chaos. Screams, shrieks, cars screeching all over the place along with several more explosions sounding off in the distance. "What has he done?" Batman stepped in front of the open space inside of the building, peering out off in the distance to see a great bright fire illuminating Gotham's night sky. All this destruction. All of this death and for what? What did Ra's have to gain? More importantly, were the others safe?

The timely explosions had saved Tim's life - or rather delayed his death. It didn't sound good at all. A pain rang through his ears as he was recovering from the box that had hit him back against the wall. As the assassin ran off into a room, Red Robin pressed his hand against the ground to help push himself himself up. Maintaining his balance as the warehouse shook from the explosions, he walked over towards Cass and Steph. Both seemed just as shocked as he did, their priority right now was to get out of there. "Glad you're okay, Batgirl. These blast shutters were prepared to keep us in here, there's no escape otherwise. Our best bet out is to co-operate with him for the time being." He put his hand on Black Bat's shoulder, and gave her a firm nod - letting her know that he truly appreciated her help.

It was a minor satisfaction for Tim to know that he was right, but he was no insufferable know-it-all. After ensuring his two companions were okay, he chased Slade into the next room. He watched as Slade was standing up, but yet hunched over a monitor. There were several control panels that the assassin was working over. "Deathstroke. We need to get out of here as fast as we can. If Ra's is willing to break a contract with you - this is far bigger than any of us ever previously imagined." This encounter with Deathstroke was one that Red Robin would never forget, and it marked a beginning of a time where he would do but one thing - push himself beyond. To be his best wasn't enough anymore. Gotham was falling.

CASSA N D RA – CAIN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Reunited with both Tim and Stephanie, Cassandra let out a sigh, glad that both were able to stay on their own feet after what just happened. She nodded back at Tim, though also offered him a weird and confused look the moment he mentioned the deal with Slade. She always appreciated and trusted his judgment even if the idea wasn't too appealing to her. Words were Tim's thing after all, she decided. "Alright. We'll go with that...for now." she muttered, touching her neck again as the pain dimmed a bit.

They had to get out as well, so she hoped that Slade would understand the situation and ignore his pride for the time being. Fighting at this point on seemed useless, not that she wasn't ready for more, it's just that they didn't have other options. "Better listen to him." she stated, remaining close to Tim while watching the mercenary cautiously. It was far from a threat as she simply wanted to avoid any unnecessary remarks and wasting time. But proving that they were serious about it was indeed necessary, for Gotham's shake. Already sensing that something bigger was planning right behind their backs, beneath Cassandra's boldness there was the wish of seeing everyone safe.

Black gloved fingers tapped against the tips of one another over and over as the man sat at the far end of a table, his eyes staring straight ahead at the monitor before him. Thanks to the help of those who need not be mentioned, Hugo was tapped into several cameras connected to most if not all of Gotham City. Traffic cameras, security cameras, even setting up his own in more...strategic parts of the city. He caught all of the bright orange explosions, knocking out more than a few of his viewings of his several city blocks. One by one all there had been was static and needless to say, he wasn't happy. The frown on his face changed substantially, shifting into a glare that he could kill with if it were possible. He knew of the explosions origins, where they came from, who activated them. Several questions pounded against the side of his head but only one was truly important: Why?

Why wasn't Ra's Al Ghul adhering to the plan? If they didn't have a structure to follow they'd just be madmen in a mad city where only chaos and destruction ensued. The Demon's Head promised his newly acquainted followers and 'subjects' the opportunity to escape the horrors that would follow these unfortunate events but all he's merely done was make it harder for them to escape their eventual fates. Gothamites left and right would wander the streets for safety and considering Arkham Asylum lied on the outskirts of the wounded city, he had no doubts that the innocent and foolish would make their way here as soon as possible. The thought crossed his mind to contact Ra's and get the answers he deeply desired although the notion to do so quickly faded as he imagined what would be in store for him if he were to step out of line. Hugo had come to realize that the Al Ghul's influence was stretched as far as the eyes could see; a very powerful person that very little should want as a foe.

"An unforeseen turn of events. By the looks of things it seems Gotham as descended into complete and utter mayhem. Nonetheless, we will move forward as I have planned." Hugo informed those within his own inner circle, that of Nygma and Crane. He was their link to Ra's Al Ghul who would in turn carry them to the promise land; even if that man appeared to have left them without just cause. That didn't seem to be the case anymore as he could have very well ruined the gears that Strange set in motion months before enacting this plan.

Hugo entered the large room he had left Valentin in to do as he pleased with the bodies spread about on several metallic tables. Before he had left several hours ago, they were all perfectly in-tact, even in death after being preserved for this moment in time. Strange knew what to expect from the man's work but what he saw before him made even his stomach churn slightly. Their faces horribly disfigured and deformed and all of them were put in clothes that seemed several sizes too small. A useful pawn but disgusting nonetheless.

"They are all perfect. All of them! Down to the littlest detail," He said this as he poked the temple of one of his newly made Dollotron's heads. It was an understatement to say that he was excited to see his creations finally put to good use. It was time well spent, alone with all of his resources. Even the opera music that allowed him to work comfortably, swaying about the work room with tools in hand while he snuffed out the life in some of the many individuals left as his eventual play-things.

Pyg had moved over to one final person minutes before Hugo Strange had entered the room. The man was one of the many few to still be among the living with his conscious intact. He took his big red drill in his right hand, letting the whirring sound induce a strong sense of panic in the innocent man's eyes, his screams muffled by a white gag.

"What troubles you good sir?" He started, leaning over the man inches away from his face. "There's nothing to worry about. We all know that pain is just the beginning of perfection." Taking his hand over to the man, he'd let it run down his face as if he were trying to calm him but he was only making the man shake wildly in fear and desperation. Annoyed, Pyg took the drill and pushed it slowly through the man's forehead. His blood ran down from the open hole and down the curves of his face, dripping onto the table underneath him. Pyg spared him no mercy drunk with pleasure and delight as he watched the life fade from the man's eyes. "Even in death, Pyg will make you as handsome as can be!" Throwing the drill down, he broke out into a frantic clap, thrilled to be putting the final touches on his latest creation.

"You've been very busy, Mr. Valentin. I was most amused by your performance here.
It's a wonder what a man can do with time and resources aplenty. If you're finished, the time to act is now. I hope your Dollotrons have what it takes because our enemy is a force to be reckoned with."
Like many of Batman's infamous rogues, the majority believed themselves to be superior to him in every way. That was true only for the few with the intellect to match him. To take away the Bat's mind, to break him down physically and mentally, to take away the spirit that drives him to throw on that ridiculous suit every night is what Ra's and even Hugo were really after.

With Pyg alerted of the coming battle, Hugo fled back into his personal room, this time with Selina Kyle in clear view over his shoulder. It took him some time to secure this channel with a certain someone, utilizing a great deal of his time to make sure it remained hidden from him until the moment was just right. "Hello, Batman. It's been quite some time since you and I last danced. I know how busy you are at the moment so I will keep this brief." Hugo looked over his shoulder, tapping at a handheld device that he held tight in the palm of his hand prompting Selina Kyle to rise up from the table and walk over towards the monitor, the mind controlling circlet clear as day in the video feed. "Wave hello to the detective, Ms. Kyle." His maniacal grin traveled from ear to ear across his face, awaiting the discomfort and rage to hit Bruce Wayne's face. "Arkham Asylum, Batman. It is here you will find your precious Cat. It should come as no surprise to you that this is a trap. Oh and do tell the birds I said hello."

A pinging sound alerted Batman prompting him to lift his gauntlet to activate the video call. Seeing the face of Hugo Strange made him strike a glare staring back into his circular rimmed glasses. He thought he had seen the last of him a few years ago when he sent his men into his home. Just as he was about to speak, Hugo had not only chimed up before him but didn't let up, goading him on and relishing in whatever he had up his pristine white sleeve. Instinctively, Batman scanned the area by behind Hugo, taking in his surroundings looking for every little detail. He thought it would be routine. Deduce his whereabouts, figure out his motives, find him and put a stop to whatever he was planning. That was until he saw Selina in the back seemingly out of her own mind or not in control entirely. "What have you done to her, Strange?" And how far did Ra's reach extend to have enlisted the help of someone like Hugo Strange?

Batman was infuriated at the sight of her and the circlet that rested atop her head. She was not acting on her own free will causing a feeling of anger to rush over him. Had the man been right in front of him he would have attacked him on the spot.

"Wave hello to the detective, Ms. Kyle."

"You'll pay for this Str-."

"Arkham Asylum, Batman. It is here you will find your precious Cat. It should come as no surprise to you that this is a trap. Oh and do tell the birds I said hello."

Leaving him no time to respond, Hugo had cut off the connection leaving him with only a demand and a plan. He was summoning him to Arkham Asylum to challenge him. A battle of wit and intellect along with strength and willpower. Somehow he was using Selina as his play thing, ordering her around every which way. That was not the Selina he knew, the one that wouldn't stand for something like that. Tapping in another set of codes on his gauntlet pulling up another video feed, the holographic screen was filled with nothing but static for a moment, merely considering it to be minor interference. "Batman to Red Robin. I repeat: Batman to Red Robin. There were several moments of silence but no one picked up on the other end. Was he consumed by the explosions? No, that couldn't have happened, it was just him as usual assuming the worst of the worst. He assumed that they heard everything, refusing to recap what they all heard. "We're going to Arkham." He declared as he turned on his heel facing d**k and Jason. They were behind him the whole time meaning they had to have heard everything that just transpired. With no hesitation, Batman fled out of the building and towards The Batmobile knowing they wouldn't be too far behind.

Upon arrival up to the Asylum gates, Batman pushed the gas exponentially blowing through the Arkham gates and coming to a halt in the middle of the courtyard. The cockpit opened with a hiss and Batman leaped out onto the ground. All seemed quiet for the moment. Nothing but a breeze that blew the leaves of fall around. He expected opposition as soon as he stepped on the grounds. Instead he was met by Arkham guards coming out onto the courtyard with guns held up against their chests gray vests.

"You damn vigilantes thinking you can just come in here like you own the place,
huh? I want you off the property."
The head security guard as bold enough to walk up to Batman without care knowing full well what he was capable of. Were they working with Strange? Batman looked over his shoulder back at Jason and Nightwing before turning back to them, assessing the numbers. Six of them in total and then there was the warden here with no qualms as to how he handled this situation.

"Hugo Strange, where is he?" Batman said, completely disregarding what the man demanded of him.

"You don't call the shots here, Batman. Last warning, either leave on your own terms or we'll make you leave." One of the other guards came up from behind, leaving the rest of his group to whisper something in the warden's ear.

"Hugo Strange hasn't worked here in years? What do you want with him?" His tone was surprisingly tame although the revelation was shocking to hear. He didn't keep up with Arkham's logs very often, who was employed there and who wasn't. It never crossed his mind that Hugo could have severed his ties with the institution a long time ago. Moments later a blaring alarm sounded across the courtyard and all over the Asylum island. Batman hunkered down, looking left and right trying to determine what would happen next. In a matter of seconds, Arkham inmates kicked down the front doors running out yelling about their freedom loud and proud. The warden and his men immediately called out to the lot of them telling them to turn back but naturally they weren't willing to listen.

Batman was the first to move through the crowd, putting himself between the inmates and the guards before any blood had to be spilled. He jumped over head, planting his boots firmly on one of their chests sending them flying back into several others. "I'm going to find Strange," Said Batman, yelling over the commotion as he knocked the lot of them aside before running through the chaos and inside the building. Inside of Arkham, inmates ravaged the scene, ripping apart and throwing whatever they could get their hands on just to turn up a storm. Others were a little smarter, getting out as fast as they could before things got worse for them. His eyes danced around each and every criminal, knowing full well their names and when he put them away. Some were there for years, releasing all of the aggression and boredom they had felt inside their lofty rooms.

"Well lookee here, it's the bat!" One of the inmates alerted his fellow men. They each looked up from what had previously caught their attention, some smiling with intent as he stood in their presence. They rose up straight, all dashing at him at once ready to tackle him down to the ground. Who better to lash out on than the one who put them here. Batman kicked his legs up, knocking a few of them down with several blows to the abdomen. From there he would spin around, jamming his elbow into the next watching him spiral off and over the front desk. They wouldn't be getting up for awhile. Batman's eyes looked up at a camera in the corner of the hall wondering if Strange was watching him. It had to have been him. He freed all of these people and took Selina. One big distraction, not to mention that Ra's was still out there with Damian.

Red Hood listened attentively as Nightwing finished catching him up to speed on some details he'd not known. Whilst listening, he'd be trying Tim's comms only to receive nothing in return but empty static. Instead he'd send for his cycle. "Maybe that's why he isn't picking up. Besides, I don't think you really want me to answer that." Just then Batman showed up cutting in their conversation short without so much as an excuse me. Not that Jason expected it. If anything it was humorous to him imagining Bruce actually saying that. Peering behind him, he could see everyone's favorite resident venom abuser out cold. "Aye aye Captain." Jason sarcastically remarked upon Bruce's command. Watching as the Dark Knight marched away to the Batmobile with authority.

"He must be really worried about the kid. Haven't seen him this mad since Babs..How are you holding up? I know you and the kid are pretty close." Jason wondered, going over to his cycle as it arrived. "You know he stole one of my helmets right?" Jason asked, throwing his leg over the cycle to properly sit down. " Only mention it because it was one of my favorite spares and no one replaced it." He revved his bike to life then trailing alongside Batman and Nightwing would set a way-point for Arkham Asylum.

As they pulled up to Arkham, he sighed as the guards who took their job way too seriously tried to prevent them from passing. They had no idea that the big guy was not in the mood for this. And luckily for them, inmates began to roam free once the alarms went off, charging outside like lunatics and giving him something to finally do besides stand around and be lectured on why they shouldn't be vigilantes in a city where villains could set off bombs anytime they wanted. As proven by tonight of course and well, other times. "What can I say? He told you so...kinda." Jason told them.

Unsheathing two pistols from his jacket pockets, Jason was prepared to put these morons down when he realized these were real bullets. He sighed, and put them away only because tonight he was following Bruce's rules. And because he didn't really feel like getting into a morality argument with d**k.
"Guess I gotta do this the old fashioned way." he bent into fighting stance and began to take on as many wild inmates as they came his way. During all the commotion, Batman declared he was going to find Hugo and Jason continued to fight only saying in return. "Knock one of his creepy a** lenses out for me!"

It didn't take a master detective to see plain as day that the city had gone to Hell. Deathstroke's focus was on the computer terminal seated upon the wooden table before him. You couldn't see it, but behind his helmet the Assassin was snarling; his silver brows pinched together in a furious glare from behind his helmet. Slade hated to admit it, but the kid was right. Ra's really did betray him. The Demon's Head set his bombs off with every intention of blowing Deathstroke and his targets to oblivion. Any other mercenary may have allowed this slight to slide, considering he had managed to rise from the assault unharmed. Unfortunately for Ra's al Ghul, Slade did not fall under that category. Ra's had proven himself to be a dishonorable client, and as far as Slade was concerned nullified their contract with this act of betrayal.

"Deathstroke. We need to get out of here as fast as we can. If Ra's is willing to break a contract with you - this is far bigger than any of us ever previously imagined."

Slade remained still and silent for a long moment following Red Robin's comment. Deathstroke did not equivocate on his previous statement. He couldn't give less of a s**t about what Ra's had planned for this city, all that he cared about was the botched job and the time, money, and resources he had poured into it only for all of that to go up in flames with Gotham. Slade punched a command into the console, the blast shields lowering from around the warehouse. Get out of here, now. Our business is concluded. Deathstroke snapped as he brushed past the young crime-fighters and back into the main room. The Assassin collected his things and took his leave without another word.

As questions were answered, and orders were given out. Nightwing’s attention was directed to Batman before glancing over at Jason as he spoke. Exchanging small talk with him, and answering him as soon as he questioned how d**k felt about the situation that had been dealt to them. ”I’m hanging in there. I’ll be better once Robin is back.” The fact that Robin had still been missing caused him more grief than the encounter with Deadshot. Jason once again spoke up, this time about something irrelevant to the whole situation. It was also good to have a distraction, keeping your head in the wrong place could get you hurt or worse. ”I’ve heard. Is it really one of your favorites, or are you just mad that a kid took something from you?” Even if they had their differences, he was still his brother no matter what. He cared for him, and d**k had done the same in return. But also as a brother had to give him s**t in return.

Once they were done with their chit chat, Nightwing followed behind as Batman made his departure. Red Hood and Nightwing streamed behind the Batmobile on their motorcycles. Within minutes they had finally made it to their next stop, Arkham Asylum. The home to the criminally insane, a good portion of Batman’s Rogues called this place home. Nightwing on the other hand found it unsettling. Exiting off of his bike, slowly kicking down the kickstand to it. He followed behind Bruce with Jason to his right. Once the guards had laid eyes upon the three, they weren’t in the mood to be dealing with the likes of them. Assuming that whatever they had demanded was going to get fulfilled. Did they even know who they were dealing with? Out of all the nights, this was not one of them to be messing with Batman. His son was missing and he was willing to do about anything to find him.

Before anymore of the discussion could continue, the gates to Arkham had been kicked through. A horde of inmates flooded out, the guards quickly took their stand with guns aimed and ready to shoot. Batman took no chances with any blood being spilled tonight, getting in between the two groups. Watching as he maneuvered over the inmates. ”I’m going to go find Strange.” Informing Jason and d**k on his next action, it was up to them to keep the inmates at bay. ”What can I say? He told you so...kinda” Snickering at Jason’s comment to the guards, he had to chime in. Jason couldn’t be the only one to poke fun at the incompetent guards. ”Should’ve probably listened to him. Guys, is this your first night on the job? Because you guys are doing a horrible at it. Get somewhere safe, we can take it from here.”

Unsheathing his escrima sticks from their holsters, he watched as Jason drew out his pistols. He couldn’t believe that he had done that, did he really think d**k was going to give him a pass on that? Then Jason had shocked him by holstering them back. A small grin formed upon his face, before scraping his escrima sticks together causing an unpleasant faint noise. Once Jason was pitted with his fair share of inmates, Nightwing was as well. Smacking his escrima sticks in a flurry of attacks on multiple of the inmates, smashing his weapons into them. With metal coming in contact with bones, ringing noise came from his escrima sticks as soon as he landed the hits. ”These guys must be crazy! Who do they think they are trying to take us on? No wonder they belong here! Am I right, or am I right?” Shouting over to Red Hood as he continued his assault to keep the inmates from flooding out of Arkham. The only way of getting through the night was by trying to stay positive

As Deathstroke concluded his business with them, and brushed past them on his way out - he couldn't help but feel relief. Ra's Al Ghul had went far enough when he decided to abduct Damian, he was now just an unrepentant evil that had to be stopped. The three vigilante's left the warehouse. He quickly tended to the shoulder wound that Slade's glock had granted him, and he promptly spoke to both Steph and Cass. The explosions dotted Burnley, flames and spoke rising high into the sky. Fire and Darkness - signature of a demon.

"We need to help them." He turned his head to Stephanie. Her head wasn't in the right place tonight, Slade had made quick work of her. "Batgirl, you should check out the smaller fires, try your best to help anyone." He knew that she was capable of far more, but he couldn't risk putting her in more danger than she could handle. Turning to Cass, the cold ice blue of his eyes could almost pierce the whites of his mask. "It looks like the larger flame is coming from the Burnley Ballroom. We've got to get going."

The screams of the innocent carried across the night. Those left alive were not spared the wrath of the Demon, as several explosions throughout the city continued. In an instant, Ra's Al Ghul had thrown Gotham into despair and mourning. Such was his craft. Sitting perched atop of a building that was a good distance away from the crumbling and burning Ballroom, he crouched, turning to Black Bat. "Chances are this could be a trap, we can't let anyone Ra's throws at us deter us. Saving those people is our priority."

It was a wonderful feeling when one's plans fell into place. It was like a puzzle, finding that last piece needed to complete it. In this situation Batman was that final piece and as the detective scoured the halls for him, Hugo stood proud, front and center in the main hall with his new friend Selina Kyle behind him. "You don't understand how good it is to see you, Batman." The words flew off of Hugo's tongue and towards the end, he added a new tone saying his name in jest. His arms were held behind his back. On all accounts, Hugo was reserved even with Gotham's proclaimed savior standing before him to retrieve his beloved ally. He didn't step into this hallway in front of The Batman without applying some security, insurance, and leverage into the situation. "I feel I should thank you. Coming here has made it easier on me and my associates and all it took was a few strings to be pulled here and there..attract the attention and manipulate your allies..your.. loved ones. You cannot win. Your defeat is inevitable. I'm here to show you that no one is untouchable. Not even Batman himself."

He lifted his fingers up, motion Selina to move forward. "Do not feel as though you have to pull any punches, Ms. Kyle. The same goes for you, too." He'd inform the Dark Knight, silently giddy with excitement at the fight to come.

For both Nightwing and Red Hood, the fight was just beginning. Pyg came out of the front doors of the Asylum skipping out with glee, his Dollotrons following behind closely in erratic movements. Some of them had limbs longer than others which made their walking patterns odd and random among the others. "I always have time to spread the gifts of perfection!" Yelled Pyg as he waved to the vigilantes. Some of the inmates who hadn't yet faced the brunt of their dynamic might looked on at the monstrosities that Pyg had created. Not wanting to get close enough, the others high-tailed it in the other direction away from his perfect creations and both of the heroes. "You've both have been very, very, very, verrrry bad boys. Go forth my Dollotrons, bring them to me!" Valentin commanded, razor sharp claws extending in length from the tips of their fingers. An added touch that would give them an edge rather than relying on their strength, or lack thereof.
