No, she was emotional and quiet, but had quite a few tender feelings, unlike the egoistical and definitely bitchy Asuka. I liked Rei, but could never stand Asuka smile Anyway, this IS the funny pics forum, so...

Actually you're thinking of the SECOND Ayanami Rei. The first Ayanami Rei was a smart mouthed child who was choked to death by Ritsuko's mother, when Rei said that Ritsuko's mom was a useless old hag or something. She kept tormenting Ritsuko's mom with words that she heard from Shinji's dad, and died with a sadistic smile on her face. The Rei that Shinji first met was the 2nd.....who later died. The 2nd Rei wasn't all that quiet, and they showed nothing to suggest that she had tender feelings.
