[-Summer Cherries-]

The waitress let out a laugh and pinched Cloud's bright red cheeks.

"Aren't you a cute one? Being in denial like that...."

She forced a fork into Cloud's hand and in a reprimanding voice, said, "Now, be a man and eat the cake!"  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

Be a man... and eat bright piink cake... he thought, making a face.
"It wont kill you, Cloud." Raye sighed, taking another bite. "Its delicious."  

[-Summer Cherries-]

The waitress seemed to have read Cloud's mind, because she said, "Nothing wrong with pink. It's a wonderfully romantic color, wouldn't you say?"

The waitress beamed, and said, "I'll be back later to pick up your empty plate, okay?"

Turning to Raye, she slipped a piece of paper into her hand and whispered, "This is my cellphone number. Should you two ever get into a fight, just give me a call and I'll stick ya two back together again, you hear?"

The waitress then turned to Cloud and did the same.

Then, with a giggle that sounded rather malicious in Cloud's ears, the waitress wandered off.

Raye stared at the paper, speechless. She completely believes that the waitress WOULD stick them together with tape or the such. In fact, she imagined it and was further horrified.
Cloud, equally afraid, threw the paper away.  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

Recovering, Cloud yelled after her, "Wait! We're not together!"

From behind the curtain separating the kitchen and restaurant, the waitress was mentally berating herself.

I only tried to help them, but it looks like all I accomplished was scaring them. I should really stop butting into other people's personal lives....

With a shake of her head, she shuffled off to the sink to wash her hands.

[[Like that'll ever happen. xd ]]
"So, um, Cloud." Raye attempted to break the silence, wishing that the talkative Yoruko was herer to say something.
"Yeah?"
-further silence-

The waitress returned, but did nothing more than set the check onto the table. She slowly turned and walked away.

Do NOT play matchmaker anymore. Their romantic interests are none of your concern. Focus only on your job as a waitress. Yeah, I think I got it now...

Unfortunately, the waitress was so deep in her thoughts that she failed to see Cloud's ovesized sword on the floor. With a rather sickening crash, she tumbled to the floor.

"OUCH......!!!!!!"  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

"Are you okay?" Raye rushed over to help the waitress who seems to have no name. O___O  

[-Summer Cherries-]

Once again, the waitress seemed to have read Raye's mind and said, "The name's Sakura. If you want to get technical, you could call me by my full name, but I'm sure that'll drive you nuts. And I'm fine; I'm rather accident prone."

Mind reader. Freaky. O___O Uh okay.
