"now...where is the murder scene?"

Isis watched with interest. A murder at a party and no one knew who did it. Now there were dectives that were going to investigate. Damn, everyones a suspect even me. Isis sighed gently and stayed put, leaning against a wall drinking a glass of water.

"Very well then," he said standing up and bowing towards Grene, "I think I'll have a look as well. We should all know the culprits handiwork, if we want to avoid all falling victim as well."

Caylem rocked on his heels, smiling and obviously enjoying himself.

"alright...does anybody know were the murder scene is?"
grene asked ther audience in general

Dime looked naively at the Steward, hoping he was no longer in a panic. "It was you, wasn't it, who discovered the crime, sir?" She said politely. "Could you show us to it?" Her voice was soft and quiet, her hands folded before her, the picture of an innocent country girl.

the steward backed up a step and nodded escorting them to krens room


The suite of the murdered Kren was three rooms in total: a bed, bath, and sitting room. Between sleeping quarters and living stretched a wall reaching halfway across the space. The bathroom door is shut, and upon inspection proves to be locked tightly. The living room shows the greatest damage. The elegant table in the center of the living space was broken, and the carpet is all but black with the darkling's blood. Beyond that, the balcony is littered with glass from the door, a few shards lay upon the inside, but the rest is sprayed across the stone.
Just inside the door from the hall, through which Kren, and later the flock of amateur inspectors, entered, resides the largest splatter of blood.

only a few splatters drift into the sleeping area, although, clear and dark against the floor, is a footprint in the darkling's blood. Also on the floor, available upon inspection, is a velvet purse, the lavish cloth drenched in similar fashion to the living room carpet and footprint.
The victim of the apparently violent assault, is nowhere to be found.

Caylem stood and whistled softly. He gave a quick flick of his wrist and a card appeared, "Bloody..."  

[Faulty Ambition]

"You can say that again," boomed out the Doctor's voice.
He looked over at the mute again.
"Or... erm... flash that card again?"

"I'd like to know how you read it without looking..." Dime muttered under her breath, apparently much undistressed by the scene. She waited on Grene to enter, before stepping in after him, eyes flicking over the blood splatters and stains, and figuring how they would have occured behind calm eyes. She stooped to inspect the fragments of the table, and also the glass of the window before turning her minute inspection to the rest of the room and its contents, whether it be a strange indent in the carpet, or the lock of the bathroom door--which she desperately wanted someone to undo.

Isis had never seen anything so bloody. She looked to the mute and read the card. She was about to speak when the Doctor took the words right out of her mouth. She went quiet and examined the crime scene from where she was.

grene walked in surveying the room
"that poor table who would do such a thing to such fone craftsmanship?"
grene looked around turning to dime
"by careful theres some broken glass on the floor"

"Yes, sir," Dime replied, wondering if anyone would notice if she picked the bathroom door's lock. She returned Caylem's smile innocently, and wondered what he was so happy about. Maybe he saw it all as a night's entertainment? "Can you unfasten the door?" she inquired. "I certainly can't. She had already checked it for trace marks--prints, weird oils, other things that 'just didn't belong' and pocketed whatever findings she had found.

Caylem shrugged and slid his hands into his pockets. and looked to the bathroom door, light shining beneath it.
