I was almost scammed just now, by someone who is actually very trustworthy. That's what happens when someone lets multiple users run a store account, I guess.
I had made an insane offer on a Nitemare Scarf because she said she'd give me some leeway based on our past. It turned out she was only accepting monthly collectibles so I was 970k short. sweatdrop
So I added a Bone Dragon Helm, a Roro Puppy, and an October 04 to the offer. All of a sudden she's saying she never promised me any leeway (when her previous post clearly states that she did. razz ), and that my new offer was 1400k away. Really? Adding three collectibles sets me 430k back? REALLY?
Turns out she did this because I asked her to value my five "OMG LI3K EYE NVR GONNA TRADE THESE EVER!!!onetyeleven" items, in case I'm about 600k off and MAYBE I'll add one of the five. So she says since I'm 1400k away, I may as well add 3 of the 5 (conveniently the three that go over 600k each rolleyes ).
So I'm short 970k. Adding three items makes 1400k away, and adding 1900k worth of items I'm not willing to trade anyway "might" be enough to cover that amount. Riiiiiiiiight. rolleyes Boy is my friend going to be pissed when she finds out this other user tried to scam people.

Some dude told me he would offer me a boatload of good stuff, OMG, Ninja Band, GOlden Laurels, everything good and expensive if I gave his bro a Lunar Scythe. Being a sucker I fell right for it, and my promised item turned out to be a pair of purple socks. One report and several tantrums later, my friend tells me, "Well, why would his bro need a scythe and why couldn't this guy give one of HIS items to his bro."
My response ".....SH**!"

I never got scammed before. Luckily, I always double-check what amount of gold I put in the trade.

my brother one time got scammed.i can describe how he did:
ok,so he gets a PM from a gaian named takami luvs itachi saying that he had something wrong with his trade a he had unknown items.so she asked him for his password to see wut was wrong with his account but he didnt fall 4 it.gaia staff would NEVER ask 4 ur password

in the last week, about 14 people tried.
9 of them asked for my password.
the other 5 just sent me to fake login boxes. all of which were clearly fake.

i have received scam messages 3 times. all 3 of them were within the same 2 hours. and i know why they did it.
man, people are stupid rofl

I am always double checking and checking again to make sure I don't
I've probably got 3 pm/hacker attempts and also 1 on a mule of mine. None of them suceeded. Though my boyfriend and my sister were hacked. My sister had a crap load of stuff including a Demonic Pendant ~~~~~~

cooldude624 Ive gotton scammed once. I got my Mochi tooken away. yea thats why i NEVER accept a trade that has a giftbox in it and thats why i hate scammers,u can get ur most valuble things taken away,thats also why never accept a trade if it has something to do with ur giftbox and a rare item
