The Haunted Carnival

[Valkyrie Nightshade]

Vincent threw his head back and laughed. "Who said it would be their enjoyment?" Vincent chuckled darkly. "No no.. Im not just bringing it back to life. I will give it life. And we will have some fun, if you two are willing to help me." Vincent grinned.

"All i ask is to call the shots, be the head honcho. Ill give you both little places of your own to play with here. On one condition that when i bring my children here you will protect them and i will defend you both." Vincent said with a grin.

"Deal?" Vincent smirked.

Junekai's blade formed in his hand and he pointed it at the demon. "You mean to make us puppets to your bidding? To be a...sideshow?" He inquired as he kept the blade poised at the demon, knowing full well that he could get himself killed if he challenged this lightning one.

"No. Actually." Vincent smirked. "More accomplices. Hmm.." vinecnt thought for a moment as he looked around the Carnival. "Maybe sideshows, but you could do as you pleased as long as you didnt hurt my children." Vincent grinned.

"And point that thing somewhere else unless your going to do something with it." Vincent said as he put his finger on the tip of the blade and smirked. He pressed his finger into it and droplets of dark crimson blood traced down the blade and towards Junekai.

"My plan is simple but it requires alot of work on my behalf. I want to make this a truly haunted carnival. I wont tell you how, that wouldnt be fun. But I need blood and souls to do such things. Lyra can cast her illusions in the House of Mirrors once we draw people in. You can do as you please, and my children can explore their own powers here. A safe haven if you will for dark creatures." Vincent grinned as he pulled his finger away.

"Now.. how does that sound?" Vincent grinned.

Junekai grimaced as he told him to point his blade somewhere else and when the demon pulled his finger away he let it vanish and stood there. "I have no talent for a...carnival," He replied. "I'm an assassin, not a circus freak. I will, however, help you with your plans, then I will be on my way. But I will aid you when you call for it." The lower half of his body turned to smoke and he flew through the demon, leaving his body cold, and he floated around looking at a few stands.

Vincent shivered and smirked at that. Interesting ability that. "I dont need performers.." Vincent grinned. "I need.. no i want. People to get freaked out, to be so scared they die of a heart attack.. or worse. An assassin i could use." Vincent said as he turned to face the man.

"The first ones who die we will turn into freak side shows. This place will be a breeding ground for sin. I want carnal pleasure. I want greed, lust, sloth, rage. Ohh.. those would be good attractions." Vincent chuckled darkly.

"I want Hell on earth." Vincent concluded with a smile.

Junekai smiled broadly even though the demon couldn't see. "Well hell on earth i could cause," He noted as he formed his blade again and reformed his legs. "Who needs to be killed? But note that I won't stick around forever."

"Well see about you staying.." Vincent grinned and flew over to the other male. He slipped behind him and placed his hands on his shoulders. Leaning in close Vincent pressed his lips into the mans ear playfully.

"Not yet eager one. First things first. I need blood and souls. Animals are plentiful. I need horses for the Carousel. Bring them to me alive. And you can have your fun spilling their blood on the ride. Ill take care of the rest." Vincent grinned giving the Assassin his first task.

"Ill need supplies too.. other than the horses. Thread and needles, strong enough to sew flesh together. Chemicals, dyes... and knives to do my finer work once you've killed the beasts." Vincent grinned as he pulled away from the male. "Figure one for every horse that is on that ride. Thats how many i need."

Lyra watches as the men talkec out of the future, she glances back at the clouds. Hell on earth? It does sound interesting.... She smirks darkly as she pictured people being randomly tortured by her. "Sounds like a fun game...I'll play along." She replies with a nod as she goes to her side facing the two. "An assassin? Scary. " She jokes, loving how easily they were offended. She blinks as Vincent gave orders to the assassin all of sudden, a lot really. "Sew flesh? Even better then I thought!" She jumps off the roof and lands near the two. "What shall I do.....?" Lyra asks with curious eyes as she adjusted her hat.

As the demon spoke, Junekai conjured up his horse, Kinoko, and repelled the urge to stab the demon in the chest, and instead, made himself tangible and then mounted Kinoko and turned to the demon. "I will attempt to find the horses," he replied as he and his horse floated up a bit. "And I would appreciate my space," he sneered.

Vincent chuckled darkly to the Assassin. "Get me what i want and ill give you all the space you desire." Vincent grinned. He then turned to the girl. Oh wonderful she was asking for something to do.

"Hn.." he looked around. The Ferris Wheel.. what could he do with that? The tilt-a-whirl? No.. Tunnel of Love? Hmm... no that would have to come from broken hearts. What about her House of Mirrors?

"Brainstorm with me. What would you do, in the most twisted nightmare you can come up with my dear, to this Carnival?" Vincent said as he stayed hovering off the ground a few feet.

Junekai looked back and forth at the girl and the demon. "With her talent," he shot in the dark, "she could have a house of nightmares. That would require someone to have the ability of knowing nightmares tho." He tilted his head at the girl.

Lyra blinks, then scratches her chin as she thought for a bit. She then shuts her eyes, picturing it as she spoke. " The entrance would be peaceful, tempting them that it was safe. After the costumer enters, the gates would close. Insects of every sort would suddenly come within each direction, mostly spiders. If they were able to leave, they would come upon a warning sign saying if they made it to the exit of the carnival their reward would be a large amount of money. Yet there are rules forcing them that they must follow their escort to each ride they desire. The escort being one of your creatures, or one of my illusions. The rides would be various, each one based off the worse sins and tragedies. And if they reached the middle of the park, they were to be executed through one of the top medieval devices designed for death. Having their choice of which one, of course. If we decide to keep them alive a bit longer, we would have their escort help them escape." She pauses as she then starts to pace slowly, the images still going through her head as if it was a video. An old nightmare she had when she had slept, atlas it wasn't. Thanks to her cruel death, she became very twisted in only days of becoming a spirit. "From then on they would deal with the escort's demands. As it's only fair since they "saved" their life. The demands would be theirs, or ours. Depending which is better...Of course worse challenges would be ahead of them, and if they truely made it to the end then they would be forced to join us." She finishes with a nod, then turns to Vincent. "But...that's just what I would do..." She chuckles, scratching her head a bit nervously. Lyra then blinks looking over to the assassin. She grins as he question if she knew nightmares. "Knowing such a thing? Darling, I lived them.....more or less." She says poking his nose then shrugs. Her death was a bit extended as she had told Vincent, even her purity was taken from her before that man had finally ended it. Then as a spirit, she had to deal with dieing at a young age. Along with forgetting who she was in the end. She gently sat in mid-air as she watches for their reactions.

Vincent was actually silent and thoughtful. The tip of his finger rested against his lips. Vincent looked to the Assassin before looking back to Lyra. He opened his mouth to retort but he had to admit.. it was good.

"Bravo.. i think i love it." Vincent smirked. "That will take alot of work. And here i was just thinking they would die on the ride, or somewhere in the park. But i think we can go with your plan mostly. Well start with updating the rides and making them come to life." Vincent grinned.

"Then we will go from there." Vincent grinned, he looked to the Assassin. "The name is Vincent by the way. The blue haired Demon." Vincent grinned egotistically as he ran his fingers through his long sapphire locks.

Lyra giggles slightly as her face had a sudden chill. She then blinks, embarrassed she hadn't introduced herself earlier. "Oh, and I'm Lyra! The cursed spirit." She says with a playful wink and a wave towards the assassin. She then looked back to Vincent, wondering if they were to split up and work separately. "Whichever you decide, dude. " She comments, replying her own question as she shrugged. After all, I do owe him for sparking this "life" of mine.

"Please.. call me Vince." Vincent frowned at the Dude comment. "Now.. i have the Carousel worked out. What do you think we should do with the other rides. Im stuck on the Ferris wheel i just dont know what to do. The vendors and games i can figure out easy enough. Same with the big top." Vincent commented as he turned to look at the Ferris Wheel.
