Damned Woods

[Cecily D Aria]

Cassandra sighed as Aquaria didn't give up. "What does the little b***h want now?" she asked, loud enough for Aquaria to hear and find her.  

[marixe alcyone]

Now Aquaria wanted to slap Cassandra. "Well, first of all, that wasn't me, that was Sanvi, and secondly, Garin's unconscious, and I think you know why," Aquaria said with an icy voice.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"well, if you can't control your own demons..." Cassandra replied, shaking her head.  

[marixe alcyone]

"Look, I'm sorry, but isn't there anything you can do?" Aquaria said. She was focused entirely on helping Garin now, or at least knowing what was wrong with him. It most certainly was not normal for a vampire to pass out.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"I've already done everything I can," Cassandra replied, shrugging. "he should heal rather quickly."

"What did you do to him?" Aquaria demanded.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"more than you ever could," Cassandra replied, coldly. "I helped him in the healing process.  

[marixe alcyone]

Aquaria knew enough about vampires to figure this one out: Cassandra had given Garin some of her venom, in other words, she had bitten him. Aquaria turned silently away from the library, tears spilling down her cheeks. Cassandra was right: Aquaria could never help Garin more that one of his own kind could. She ran back to the room and sat outside, crying.
Sanvi did her best to comfort Aquaria, but the angel would have none of it.

Garin was still in his sleep. He didn't even appear to be breathing and he was very pale, paler than usual.

Aquaria had made up her mind: she would let Garin live his life, free from the hurt she caused him. She walked back into the room to get her things, but was too disturbed by Garin's pallor to leave him just yet. Instead, she pulled up a chair and kept a vigil over him, crying the whole time.

Garin was asleep for a few hours, before he started to stir. he slowly opened his eyes and looked to Aquaria. He smiled to her.

Aquaria turned away from him, crying. "Garin, I'm so sorry. I refuse to be the cause of any more of your pain," she said, not realizing that if she left this would probably cause him the most pain yet.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"What are you talking about Aquaria?" Garin asked, sitting up unsteadily. "You've never hurt me, it's always been her. She's the one who's hurt me."  

[marixe alcyone]

"She's a part of me!" Aquaria screamed. Tears blurred her vision as she tried to pass Garin to get to the door. "I hurt you too much. I can't live with that. I can't live with...with who I am."

garin reached out and caught her around the waist. He pulled her down on the bed. "She is not, Aquaria," he told her as he hugged her. "She's not you. You've nerv hurt me."
