Flanys, City in the Snow

[Tall Italian Boy]

Pyne's eyes turned into the wolf inside him as he tried to push Devin back onto the ground. "What is your problem?" He barked at him.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Devin gasped as he lay face down in the snow. After a long moment he finally spoke, "I feel dizzy... Like I'm gonna be sick..." He sounded like himself and his teeth and claws had shrunk. He was calm again, and his eyes back to his regular blue. "One minute... I was fine the next I wanted to kill the boy... Tiberius..." Devin turned his head to look at Pyne, "That boy's dangerous. The wolf checked him out last night... He's like us, only more dangerous."  

[Tall Italian Boy]

Pyne picked up Devin and got the snow off of him. "I'll talk with him and figure something out. If he's like your wolf says, we'll get rid of him." He said as he looked back at the door. "Now, let's get back before your sister kills us alright?" He said softly.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Devin rubbed his face with the heel of his hand trying to dry it and warm it at the same time, "I'm still not happy about you and her either."  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"Why not? What is wrong with your sister and I being together?" Pyne said stopping to face him. "Do you not like me or something?" He asked him seriously.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

"You're a werewolf that works for Vampires. My sister deserves someone who would get her out of that world, not drag her in deeper." Devin said seriously, "Both of my sisters deserve someone normal, and safe."  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"What makes you think I would stay in Merkia? If your sister didn't feel safe there, then we would leave and find somewhere else. She is old enough to make her own decisions." Pyne said as he looked at Devin. "I'm sorry I can't be normal, but I am safe. I love Alyxis and I'm certain she feels the same way." He said softly.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

"Would you marry her? Make her happy? Or would you keep treating her like some kind of mistress?" Devin growled, "Knowing her she wouldn't want to get married. And I don't want to see you toss her aside when you got bored with her."  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"I'd do whatever it takes to make her happy. I would never leave her." Pyne said as he raised his eyebrow. "How am I treating her like a mistress?" He asked curiously.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

"You use her for sex and you've known her how long?" Devin said, as though that were the answer.  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"What?" Pyne said as he looked at him. "Alright, what we did last night was a moment thing. I didn't expect to end up where we did. I am sure she didn't either. I usually don't do anything like that until I know them better. Although, your sister is different and I like that a lot about her." Pyne said as he started to walk back to the cafe.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Alyxis looked up, when he entered. She hadn't touched her food since he'd left.

Devin gritted his teeth, remembering several comments Alyxis had made just to get him to leave her alone about the two of them, the night before. The most annoying of which was when she started talking about how great he was "in the sack".

Pyne sat down next to Alyxis and started to eat his steak, which was now cold, again.

 

[Julia the Trickster]

Kaede watched him enter, still frowning. "Everything ok Devin?" she asked, arms crossed.  

[Hiraru Sagara]

Alyxis touched the back of his hand, "Want me to get you a new one?"

Devin finally came back in. Alyxis had ordered him a new sandwich, this one with twice the meat the first had contained. Devin looked at the fox girl, "I'm not in a great mood."
