"Why would I save something from being eaten?" I stopped. "Unless you were hunting something that I would have wanted to save. Like the pup. Wouldn't look good for a newcomer to have some pup get eaten while I was sleeping." I narrowed my eyes. "What's your game."

I actually never fell asleep... I mumbled in my mind. I didn't trust the others around here. Granted the one had given me shelter, but he was of a different species. It was practically imprinted in my genes to not trust them.
But this creature was interesting. And apparantly did not trust the wolves either. "The wolves seem to have a strong order around here."

I looked over at the returning wolf. I really was learning to not be surprised by sudden appearances of people, it had happened more than a few times in one day.
"Well technically there are no more in the cave, since he is outside in the trees." I said, my mouth watering from the smell of fresh meat. But I knew better than to ask. I would have to go find my own food.

I made a face and glanced back up in to the trees. I simply turned my tail and headed back inside of the deep cave. I would block the smell and wait until morning.
