To the best of my knowledge, we've never used RNG for running. You just do it.

I've, uh, always considered it part of the Stupidity Clause thing. ^^ Your character can die against your will if you do something really, really dumb... like stick around to fight a character who can mop the floor with you and has no interest in keeping you alive. But, obviously, you must have a way to save your character... which usually happens to be running away from whatever the threat is. ^^ 'S only fair, after all. Though Kimiko might come stalk you...

Since I don't know which characters are yours, I don't know what you should do, Fen-Fen.

Red, I thought it was a succeed-or-die kind of thing if you didn't have the retreat skill/gem. And Kimiko stalking Fujimatsu will easily lead him to two conclusions:
A: This girl has a maniacal crush for me that supersedes sanity...
B: This girl really, really, REALLY wants me dead.
