[Ronnel no Fenniksu]

Shinji growled low.
"Sorry young miss...but I think that crash was from my room..." He shook himself.
"No... I can't. Kuso. Ryoko-san, please be... ahaha! Lightning Clone!" The clone shimmered into existence, then took off after Ryoko. Shinji sat back with a small grunt. Throwing himself around earlier might have worked to avoid the demon's attack, but it had bruised his side.


Shinji's clone ran through the darkness, following the fading sounds of Ryoko's footsteps. If it saw something bad... it would run back and alert the real Shinji.

Ryoko ran into the main lobby. He stopped when he saw the demon. Ryoko moved a little closer, trying to see if the thing was alive.

The creature's fingers twitched and blood rushed down what seemed to be it's head and tourso. It stride to stand, but to no avail. The beast fell back to the ground and let out a long howl in pain. It attempted again and managed to limp a few feet towards the door, but fell back down, tired and drained. The demon breathed heavely and the blood continued to rush down its body.

Shinji's clone peered around the corner carefully, blinking as it could once more see. It blanched (if a yellow clone can blanch...) when it recognized the beast that had summoned the Arch-Demon that was now threatening the gates. But the thing looked wounded already... Ryoko could probably handle this on its own, but just in case.... It prepared for a mad dash back to the room where Shinji was recovering.  

[Ryoko Earth]

Ryoko, feeling an ounce of sympathy for the thing, walked closer to it. It didn't look too dangerous. And it wasn't in any condition to fight. Why attack it?

The demon looked over to see the shinobi. It wasnt stupid, infact, it knew it was probably smarter than the human that now stood next to him. It knew it couldnt speak the human's language in this form. The Archangel transformed him into this hideous thing that even though had thumbs, couldnt even find the throat to talk. The human was most likely going to attack him, and the demon was in no place to fight. Mortally wounded the creature tried once again to stand, it's legs shook and it fell once again to the floor, coughing out the blackish vial that was it's blood.

Something about the beast clicked in the clone's limited mind. Its eyes shot open wide.
"Ryoko-san, try to keep that alive! I need to get the boss up here....something about this thing is familiar!" It turned and began running back.  

[Ryoko Earth]

Ryoko, never going to attack the thing in the first place, seemingly ignored the boy. Ryoko pulled out Youso and touched the beast with it. He then backed off, controlling the sword's movements with his mind. The weapon broke into very little pieces and covered any wounds the creature had effectively stopping most of the bleeding.

Shinji's clone stumbled into the room, causing the gennin to look up at it in shock.
"Was Ryoko-san hurt?"
"No Boss! Get up there, you remember more than I do, I think there's somethign about that one that's important!" Shinji raised his eyebrow at this, then got up and followed his clone back towards the Demon, and Ryoko. However, as he left, Shinji created a squad of seven Lightning Clones.
"Protect them. Protect them both." The clones saluted their creator as he moved off into the darkness.  

[Oni_Soul]

The wounds sealed by the sword, the beast looked up to the shinobi that had stopped his bleeding. It grunted and stood up, but its weight was still to much. The creature sat upon its haunches and looked up at the shinobi that had sealed its wounds, and...attempted...to smile, but only revealing the curse mark stained, sharp daggers that were it's teeth.

Shinji came around the final corner and almost threw himself in front of Ryoko when he saw the beast baring its fangs at the purple haired shinobi. But he paused, and realized...
It's not attacking... Turning slightly to regard the older shinobi, Shinji asked;
"Ryoko-san, can you clarify something for me?" He kept one eye on the beast, still wary despite the suspicion that was beginning to form in his head.  

[Ryoko Earth]

Ryoko looked up at the beast that easily towered over him. The demon hadn't eaten him yet so it wasn't going to try and hurt him. He spoke. "So what's your story?"
