.... why was it suddenly... so hard to talk to him...?
He continued to stare down at the table, biting his lip nervously. Was this an actual date or something? I mean, sure he'd gone out with Jounouchi before.. but... were they.... together? It's not like he had made it official, and what the hell did 'official' mean anyway!? .... Damn it...
They never.. taught me anything of any importance underground.
And when it comes to anything sexual, Jounouchi is an incompetent buffoon.
I think we both just suck at this....

Frowning, and turning back to his amber eyed friend, he asked softly, "Say, Jounouchi.... are you going to tell anybody about... us?"

Jounouchi blinked, "What do you mean by-oh..." he frowned, realizing what Malik was asking. "Well..." he looked down and picked up his chopsticks, twirling them in his hands distractedly, "I'm not sure..." he replied, looking back up at Malik, "I mean... we did just get together and... well I kinda wanna take things one step at a time, you know? Like... if you're okay with it... give me some time to think about it?"

Jounouchi stared down at the table, "I'm not afraid of being hurt but..." he frowned, "Okay, I admit it. I'm afraid of what my friends will think..." he sighed, looking up at Malik, "I have no idea how they'll react... Honda and Anzu can be very protective people, and even Yuugi gets uneasy when it comes to his friends doing something out of the norm. Not to mention... I don't exactly tell them everything about my life to begin with..."

"I'm... sure they'll... be understanding..." Malik stated sympathetically, wrapping one of his arms around the waist of his partner. "...well, okay, maybe not Honda. I think he'll kill me... uh.. but Anzu and Yuugi, they'll be okay. I'll help you, when you're ready."
He smiled sweetly up at Jounouchi and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. "I promise."

Malik nodded. "It's weird, you know. The standards of society are so different here... compared to underground... it was always natural to me. Maybe, I'm backwards, but, I didn't realize I was supposed to even like women..." He shrugged. "...I don't know, maybe I was being stupid. I still don't see why a man needs to be with a women, except for procreation, I suppose."

I mean... since most people are attracted to the opposite sex, back in the days where there was less acceptance, people were completely freaked out by the idea of liking someone with the same gender. I guess that standard just survived to even present day..." he said, twirling the chopsticks around in his hand again, "Ya know, I never really thought of it before, but I guess that makes sense..." he looked up at the ceiling thoughtfully.
((Oh, so I did a bit of research on Aquarius to get a little more into Jounouchi's personality, and it turns out that Aquarius is the most "mind-oriented" astrological sign. XD;; So pretty much... it's the most likely sign to become a genius, but also the most likely to become mentally insane. <3))

((Hehe, nice. I've been meaning to look up more on Malik's sign also... but yea, I've been too busy. That's funny, maybe T-chan did that too... in our RP Jounouchi is goofy but he's really analytical.. I never thought much of it. Hehe, but that's cool. =) I need to do more research on that stuff. ))

((Personally, I see Jounouchi as often seeming out of it mentally because he's always thinking about other things, like things that have nothing to do with his current situation. XD;; Day-dreaming if you will. So he doesn't seem intelligent, because he's oblivious to the more demanding things in life. He doesn't seem book-smart, but I can still see him as the type of person who never stops thinking.))
