I'm going to log off from Gaia, since I won't be posting anything, since I'm reading Emma. So talk to you later.

I just found the footage of Captain Phil Harris' (Captain of Cornelia Marie, from Deadliest Catch) memorial service online. So I've been watching that.
It's so sad to know that he's gone. Certainly going to be different watching next season's Deadliest Catch without him being there.
If I had known that the memorial service was in Seattle... and I was able to go, I would've of. That would've been nice to be part of that, and pay tribute to the Captain. As the Harris boys said - all of us viewers/fans have become part of their ((all of the Deadliest Catch crew's)) family. 3nodding And it definitely has been that way with my family. When Phil was having health complications, we ((mostly my Mom and I)) were worried about him - like you would be worried if it was a family member having health issues. Even I was considered for Sig when he was having the strange pains during the same time that Phil's health was starting to go downhill.

I had hoped that the footage would've showed more contributes from the other captains. But it was mostly the background crew ((i.e. executive producer)) and friends that spoke most of the time. The only Deadliest Catch folks you actually see is the boys, Jake and Josh, at the beginning.
Oh well. Better than nothing. 3nodding

I ended up working on my presentation slideshow before I took a shower... and ended up taking a shower much later than when I had posted I was going to. sweatdrop But none the less... I took care of one of the things I planned on doing... and did get around to taking a shower and had lunch.
Now I'm going to watch the last bit of Emma. 3nodding

Oh how I love Emma! biggrin Too bad I didn't add the Emma novel, DVD, and soundtrack to my birthday wishlist before I printed a copy to my parents. Oh well. Guess I'll just add it to next year's version.

My Aunt and Cousin are just having bad timing for their surgeries. Originally my Cousin's surgery was going to be in a couple days. But the doctor cancelled the appointment and the surgery has been moved to the 21st - my Cousin's birthday ((and mine! We were born different years - she's older)). My Aunt's surgery is on her birthday. xp Definitely not the birthday they probably were wanting this year.
